BUT - this Tesoro gas station is completely opposite! There's candy, gum, sunglasses, medicine, coffee, cigarettes, cappuccino, ice cream treats, an auto section (perfect for unexpected break downs), a sitting area in the back, rentable movies, bread, donuts, milk/butter, and an entire wall of drinks to choose from. And that's not even the gist of it. They also have a medium sized liquor store connected to the building! The five-star review was truly earned when I was in witness to their food. Pizza, tacos, fried chicken, salads, nachos, Chinese food, different sorts of fried food, paninis, and even sub sandwiches! On weekdays, the day crew also makes cheeseburgers at times! These people have taken a gas station & they have made it into a subway, pizzahut, KFC, & a taco johns, all in one! I am awed at how the workers can do absolutely ALL OF THAT! You can order anything off their enormous menu over the phone & pick it up, or you can order it there and wait in the seating area (most items don't take the workers that long to make!) I definitely recommend the BBQ Chicken Pizza or the Seafood Sub. Overall, this place is an A+ to me. It's a clean store and the workers are happy to help you out.

No big deal. It looks tiny on the outside, but the further in you go, the more this shop unfolds into a huge emporium of scintillating goodies. When I walked in, there were books. Books?! Gorgeous childrens' books, (millennial) classics I haven't seen for sale in ages (I Spy, The Rainbow Fish, Where's Waldo), there were beautiful cookbooks, chic plant books, educational books, bird books, frog books, books wrapped up in gift paper ready to be someone's surprise read (Blind Date with a Book!), and two little childrens' reading nooks up a couple of stairs at the front of the store! After the books there were games, toys, puzzles, candy, gifts. And then I realized, this place is HUGE. In the back of the store there's a full on Office Depot situation but only the good stuff, plus a print shop. Ink, paper, cardstock, accounting pads, payroll sheets, carbon paper, large poster boards, folders, pens, highlighters, calculators, clips, tacks, and knick knacks. Prismacolor pencils! The good erasers. The good pencil sharpeners. Graph paper. Transfer paper. Sketch pads. Velum! Fine point markers. Like, high end art store stuff. And then. And THEN. I looked to the side of the store and there ANOTHER opening to a jewelry store! And once you go in there, you see an entirely other part of this store that is just as big as the place you just walked out of. Oh yeah, the stationery! They've got beautiful art on single pieces or card sets, but they've got purses, wallets, decor, kitchen stuff, seasonal towels, aprons, plates, mugs, souvenirs, lip gloss, candles, hot pepper jelly, a whole aisle of Burt's Bees, more kid stuff; they even have a little room dedicated to the clearance section. I don't know a lot about this shop, but I can only assume some of this is locally made and a bunch of vendors have their stuff there? Anyway, budget a couple hours and go peruse this place. The shopping here rivals boutiques in the big city, but with all the charm of Fergus Falls.

I grabbed a basket. This store is severely cluttered, with narrow aisles for 1 shopper or cart in them. They seem to mark their products with a black sharpie. This store is enormous. It looks like a lot of Costco, dollar tree excess stuff that didn't sell. Some prices were high even, such as $24 Legos and $8.99 towels. There are a boatload of toys and clothes. I bought an ND flag, Reeses popcorn, and 2 bottles of pop. They had Glacier National Park stuffed animals and excess stuff saying Silverton, CO. Places I had not been to. This pottery was alright, but then marked with a sharpie. How dumb. This place was very similar to Gopher Bargain Center in St Cloud. Oh, there's a lot of expired Easter candy. Anyone?

Whenever I go to Alexandria for work, I kill time and stop here. There are no Dollar General Stores…read morein the metro. I found these cute metal signs and last year I spray painted the cows a cool blue and the pigs a pepto bismol pink. They are outside by my Traeger. Imagine my surprise to find the chickens this year! I plan to spray paint those maybe a tie dye or funky color. The store is easy to get to and has a nice parking lot. I like that they haven't raised prices to $1.25 like Dollar Tree. The store carries merch that costs more than $1. Nothing is very expensive. I found some World's Finest Chocolate Bars for 90 cents for the father in law. Those are reminiscent of high school days. Cashier always friendly too.

As I was searching, I found the company was still in business and decided to reach out to them via their Facebook page. Within one hour I had a reply from them as well as a PDF instruction sheet showing how to replace the straps. They invited me to contact them back with any other questions and expressed interest in seeing the the completed chairs. This kind of friendly, helpful customer service is a rarity these days.
