As a Southern Nevada resident, this Kingman location was the closest to me, so I bookmarked it and finally visited earlier today. Here are some highlights: CUSTOMER SERVICE: I was greeted warmly by multiple store employees, and the overall customer service was impressive. AMBIANCE: The store was clean, easy to navigate, and unfussy. Upon arrival, I beelined to the produce, deli, bakery, and specialty items section. The bakery was bustling with activity, and I later discovered through the Phoenix subreddit that Bashas' is renowned for its baked goods. FOOD SELECTION: My primary focus was on Bashas' unique snacks and store brand items. I was particularly surprised to find muscadine jelly, a staple from my childhood in the Southeast. Additionally, I noticed several Bashas' store brand items on sale or at very reasonable prices, such as honey roasted peanuts priced at two for $5. So, needless to say the shock I felt at the Kingman Walmart was astounding! The employees smile! They act happy there! They actually HELP the customers!! We met a gal who was shopping on her DAY OFF. She saw we looking in the water, and she stopped to help us. I asked if she worked here- and she did. Her name is Iris, and she is AWESOME!! Though we didn't find what we were looking for, she left no stone unturned! Absolutely amazing customer service skills- and Walmart should know what a great job she's doing. We also came across cashier Janet, and whom I think is her supervisor- Susan. Both ladies were so wonderful! There was also a lady in cosmetics that walked me over to some products- the CS at this store is nuts!! Whatever is happening here in Kingman- please spread it East, North, West and South!!! I got diesel fuel first and everything worked as expected. Then, I went into the store. I thought that they were trying to go upscale like Wegmans on the east coast with the dim lighting over the produce. (They could have been trying to hide the mold on the bleu cheese, right? Isn't that mold anyway? You have to cultivate bacteria to make cheese in the first place.) Walmart has even tried it in the Neighborhood Market stores. I looked for snacks and drinks to take with me on the rest of my 2000 or so miles. Unfortunately, I didn't find anything interesting enough to buy at what seemed like high prices to me but then, I didn't have their customer card.

I had a horrible experience at this specific Walmart Supercenter today at 5:20pm. I told her I had it on my phone and waited for the Walmart app to load. She rushed me, ignored other customers, and refused to check someone else's receipt while I was still waiting. When my receipt finally loaded, she sighed heavily like I was stealing. Her behavior made me feel singled out, uncomfortable, and disrespected -- especially as a mom trying to manage a fussy baby. I've never felt so singled out for no reason. Walmart needs to train staff to treat all customers with respect, because this was unacceptable. I want to speak to management about how I was treated, because Walmart needs to ensure all customers are treated fairly and with respect.
