This is one of the worst customer service stores. With the exception of a few employees ( hardware, electrical, garden) . Trying to get help in the lumber dept is near impossible and when you do get they are rude and appear to be very unhappy . I am 75 and need a little help in loading lumber and cement , I either have to wait 15- 20 min or load it my self. Over the last 3 years I have spent well over ten thousand dollars of my retirement money at this store. I have decided to drive a bit further to Home Depot where they fall over themselves to help me. I was a longtime Lowes customer / California, Mississippi, Oregon,etc. I want to purchase 2 foot long x 5 1/2 inch wide Red Oak. Hardly ever in stock / "Fire your supplyer". I wanted to purchase a 6 foot length and have them cut it into 24 inch pieces with their vertical table saw. three times now. Their answer : We can cut chicken little ABS sheets, but the saw blade is worn out and dull and won't cut the Red Oak wood and management won't buy a new blade and have it installed. I have noticed that the store is lacking customers, and the parking lot is relatively empty, unlike Home Depot. Management can not seem to pull it off. Lowes Corporation may want to subsidize this store for a period of time, but at the current rate it will surely close it's doors sooner rather than later. P.S. And this just isn't their only problem. Purchased a Washing machine that needed to be ordered and picked up later. After picking the unit up on my trailer I backed the trailer into the garage and waited for the weekend to have my Son help me with the install. We took the packaging off and there was a dent in the front of the machine. We repacked and intended to take it back. The Store Manager informed us that they have a 48 hour inspection policy. No one at the time of purchase or pick up said a word about that policy and it is not on the receipt. Called customer Service and was informed that it is posted in the store and they do not have to tell you or put in in writing on your receipt or paperwork. I remodel houses and can think of many times we have purchased things on sale and stored them until it was time to install ??? Manager was arrogant and condescending !!!! I asked is it finally working she said Yes, it is finally working but it is the repaired version and I never got anyone to even consider a new replacement. At least it now works! Bought a new vent hood from Lowe's for a new build in November 23. In January the contractor went to install it, and found it was missing the extension. Went to Lowe's, only to find they had discontinued the item, so we bought a brand new $800 vent hood with the correct extension. We took the old vent back for a refund, and were told that it is an appliance and you only have 48 hours to return it. We talked to management, as, obviously, it's not our fault that the hood was missing an extension that was now discontinued. Nope! We have to eat the entire $800. Update, NOTHING has changed except I paid for the labor 01/08 to install the counter tops, they said 4-5 weeks, a call to Lowe'sT 01/28 revealed it will be two to two and a half more weeks. First, the lady was more interested talking about herself, we never even got a quotes, and that was 2.5 weeks ago, and she said we would have to deal directly with the installer is something went wrong with our windows down the line. I ordered a refrigerator on July 5, 2020. The model we wanted and most others were on back order due to COVID-19. I was calling or visiting the store and getting updates every couple of weeks. To our surprise the refrigerator arrived more than 2 weeks ahead of schedule. Lowes set up delivery and it arrived on Saturday morning. The doors had to come off to get it into the house. When the delivery team assembled it and plugged it in we had a door alarm that wouldn't go off. Sunday morning I went to Lowes to talk with Rich, on site manager and he said he would get a repair man out as soon as possible. The repairman came out and found the issue was caused by the delivery team connecting the plugs wrong. Assistant manager Rana has terrible customer service, he simply does not know how to provide any customer service he does not care about customers. We had a problem with this Lowes in BHC and was mojorly inconvenienced. We ask for a resolution and he refused to do anything for the major inconvenience his store casued and was responsible for. What a refreshing difference at Lowe's! This is the second half of the saga of finding a new refrigerator after the one that served us well for 11 years finally petered out and died. Diane and I walked into Lowe's in Bullhead City, just passed by the lighting section on the side, and all lights in the store suddenly went out. The giant retail warehouse was pitch black, and Diane actually shrieked aloud, like when the Desperado roller coaster at Buffalo Bill's in Primm, Nevada suddenly begins its steepest descent. But the inability to see anything at all was very short-lived. Within moments the lights went back on, and we were able to reach the refrigerator section and look for a sorely needed new appliance. (I learned later that night that the electrical power in an entire sector of Bullhead City went out for a brief span of time, so the outage was not caused by a Lowe's snafu.) Very soon after our arrival at the refrigerator section, which looked like three rows of monolithic black, white, and stainless steel mini-skyscrapers peering down without expression from both sides of a narrow aisle, a female store employee asked if we needed help. We said that we did, and another employee who was conversant in the particulars of various refrigerators was summoned and soon joined us. She patiently showed us the differences amongst the numerous machines, and we quickly focused on a few side-by-side models. Eventually we settled on a white Whirlpool Gold Conquest listed on a sign as selling for $1,299. The salesperson checked stock, and returned to cheerfully (and quite honestly) report that the model we wanted was actually on sale this day for $1,169. This was even a better deal than what Home Depot had offered us a few moments earlier--along with an 11-day wait for delivery. Diane asked if she would be able to receive her retired military 10% discount, as well, and was told that she would. We were also informed that, per the store manager, although the next normal delivery to Laughlin would not be until Friday, Lowe's would treat our lack of a working refrigerator as an emergency, and deliver a newly bought refrigerator at our home, take away the expired machine, and install the new one and its ice maker on Thursday, the very next day, and without any delivery or other added charges. We were thrilled! The deal was quickly rung up minutes before the store closed for the day; my wife got her discount; and, because the check I wrote was for over $1,000, a manager was summoned to approve it; This was cheerfully done after just reviewing my Nevada driver's license. We were asked whether we preferred delivery to occur in the morning, afternoon, or evening; said "Afternoon," and were on our way out, headed for a late dinner. The next morning Diane and I were abruptly jarred from our sleep at 7:30 a.m. by a Lowe's deliveryman calling to say that they would be by somewhere between 8:00 a.m. and 9:30 a.m., to deliver our new refrigerator. What happened to the afternoon? But, who were we to complain about receiving our needed refrigerator early? So, we thanked the caller, and soon afterward prepared for the truck's arrival. Two Lowe's deliverymen, with new refrigerator in tow, arrived on scene at just about 9:00 a.m. sharp. They then very professionally removed our dead machine, and with noticeable difficulty steered the new one inside the house on a hand truck, and ultimately into the kitchen, in the process clearing the front gate by less than an inch, and the front door and a hallway by not much more than that, as I watched in horror as two screws where the refrigerator's handles would go missed my newly installed white bookshelf by only a couple of centimeters. But all unwelcome contact was averted, and the spanking new refrigerator was put in the place of the old, and powered on. The friendly and very competent deliverymen then explained where all switches were and how they worked, and even applied their own Goo Gone to remove a sticky paper UPC code and some goo from the top of our new refrigerator. Diane and I will be shopping very soon to replace all the food that spoiled when the other refrigerator went down for the final count. That, and having a really good excuse to temporarily eat out more are about the only benefits of having a refrigerator go kaput, and having to buy a new one. read more

She did and OUTSTANDING job on our final details of our whole house flooring project. She managed this despite a very busy time of day with many other customers needing assistance in that department. Wisely she called for back up and Tom assisted so she could continue with processing our order. This is our first impression of this location's Lowe's as we just bought our home and will be moving here when our renovation's are done. I bought a new dishwasher on 1/11/23. Paid for delivery & installation. I was told it was in stock. Not so. It took 2 weeks to get to the store, then another 2 weeks to get it delivered. Day of delivery..I was charged $300 for an outlet and a vapor lock (?) On the sink. I wasn't ready for that. Installer did not check to see if it was working and it wasn't flush with the cabinets. Found out IT DOESNT WORK! Waited another week for the same installer to declare that it indeed doesn't work. Lowe's is supposed to call me. They didn't. I've been here three times in the last three days and have received great service every time. On our Monday visit, Suzi in the window treatments section was very friendly and helpful. We've been on a super tight schedule and she was able to set up an appt to have our windows measured for next day service. When I was there today, the guy in the doors and screens department educated me on all things window screens and although they didn't have what I needed (apparently they don't sell prefabricated window screens) he provided me with several option to consider. The store isn't super crowded and I used the self check out to pay. Several of my items couldn't. E bagged because of their size and the cashier was very helpful overusing the register so could completely purchase. Plenty of parking too! read more

Since this pandemic started Lowe's has really been a disappointment. I go in there at least one or two times a week. It's almost like they don't want to stock their shelves with enough building Materials. For instance plumbing supplies,they will have most everything you need to do a job with the exception of one critical piece to complete the job. And if you need help with having wire cut. I have waited over 30 minutes for an employee to cut wire. The people are not very knowledgeable. I usually end up at Home Depo.
