Last week I got a huge butternut squash for $1 and hard to find honeynut squash 2/$1. I have purchased tons of red, green and nappa cabbage more than half off what you would pay at the store. Vendors are helpful, knowledgeable and very friendly. Check the Greece Ridge calendar prior to heading out as this market is not year round - but definitely a place to find great local produce for cheap.

Its not like a mass wholesaler with tons of products and choices, nor is it fancy with millions of different cheeses and international spices etc. But it gets the job done when you just need to run in quick after work for a few supplies. Things worth noting: Their cold cuts are pretty inexpensive. Also, I prefer their meat selection to that of any Wegmans. I cannot stand those gold foil packs that Wegmans uses. I wanna see red meat and I want to be able to poke it and see if its tender etc. You cant really do that with those gold foil packages. I also prefer their freshly baked pie selection. They have like 6 or so different flavors for way less than Wegmans. (Prices ranging from $4-6, while Wegmans pies go for about $6-12) The Strawberry Rhubarb is my all time fav and you can pre-order it the night before to guarantee you'll get your hands on one!!!! Lastly, my husband is in love with their seafood salad. You can find it at the deli and by the seafood section. Put some on crackers or on a croissant. Yum! Overall, stop in if you are trying to get away from crowds and the hustle and bustle that is at every other grocery store and super center.

There a few taps here with the opportunity to purchase growlers. The taps are changed regularly. They also let you try a sample. The staff here is fantastic, very outgoing but more importantly they know their craft beer. I always ask for staff recommendations on the large selection of IPA's. I have yet to be disappointed with a beer. In fact I usually come back for more! Definitely check out this great smaller craft beer place!

Keeping in mind that they don't seem to have the technology to scan the bar code on a gift card, they just punch in the numbers. Obviously someone had punched this in wrong previously, but either he wasn't able to come to that conclusion or he just didn't give a shit. But he "would talk to his brother about it and give me a call the next week" Meanwhile, I spent $50 out of my own pocket since he wouldn't take the gift card. What you probably dont know about are the made from scratch breakfast sandwiches available mornings (easily beats breakfast sandwiches from all the local chains) and that the coffee is quite good. I tried to talk to a person but I was #17 on hold. I will NEVER EVER use them again. What if they did this to someone who needed heart medication, or insulin? This is totally unacceptable, and then to make matters worse, you have to wait forever to talk to a human being. I contacted my doctor and he called in a prescription for me to Walgreens. I FINALLY got the eye drops today - 2+ weeks later. WOULD YOU BELIEVE WEGMANS CHARGED ME $7 MORE THAN WALGREENS FOR THE EXACT SAME BOTTLE OF EYE DROPS? And mail order is supposed to save you money???

This is not my first rodeo with a mail order pharmacy and my impression is Wegman's needs to stick with groceries and stay out of the pharmacy business! Terrible experience from day 1!
