You can improve on when I bring my kids inside the store that it doesn't smell like marijuana. I literally had to remove my kids from the store because the smoke smell was from the far right corner Someone was smoking pot in the back storage room of the store. JENNY! The old lady associate Jenny with the glasses is EXTREMELY UNPROFESSIONAL AND RUDE! She had an attitude because I asked her if she could assist me with a coupon problem because it wasn't working for me and she decides to tell me "if I did it right it would work, you should've put the coupon in first THATS why it didn't work" and she proceeds to tell me I'm holding up a "line" of ONE PERSON and I told her that's fine they can wait because I want my coupon to go through! And she proceeds to tell me "nobody gives a shit!" LIKE WHAT!!!!!!!! SHE NEEDS TO BE FIRED! AWFUL TERRIBLE COSTUMER SERVICE AND KIDS WERE ENTERING THE STORE AS SHE PROCEEDED TO CURSE ME OUT OVER A COUPON ERROR THAT I ASKED POLITELY FOR HELP WITH!!!!! LIKE WHAT IS WRONG WITH PEOPLE! I personally worked here and it was awful there was so much drama for no reason and I felt as if I was personally picked on every time I went to work and now as a customer they won't even speak to me and alway give me the eat crap look and I did nothing wrong nor did I do anything to make them treat me this way and the general manager was extremely rude to my mother-in-law several times when she tried to help me tell this lady the truth about what was going on with the assistant manager long story short please don't get a job here and i wouldn't even shop here either it's just not worth your time!! read more

I've came quite a few times to this Dollar General since I recently moved to the area. & The last 2 visits have been extremely unpleasant due to a old grumpy rude lady that stinks like cigarettes at the register. There was a sweet older white gentleman that didn't know how to use the technology on the pin pad & she was so rude to him because he wanted cash back & said "she wasn't a bank & if he couldn't read the sign that said no cash back"! I'm just listening to her as the store was quiet and empty (from customers AND items on the shelves smh). As I approached the self check out (because I wanted to avoid her at all costs), the kiosk was not working, as usual. The grinch of Hiram rang up my items, while I waited quietly and patiently, and as I handed her my 20$ bill to pay, she looked at it and said "this $20 bill is odd & it looks weird" & just stared at it after she clearly said she was not a bank! It took every ounce of energy within me to hold my tongue because I am so kind to sweet older people but this lady is soooooo RUDE & NASTY with her remarks & attitude & poor customer service! I'm not sure if she is the manager or what because she goes out to the front of the store to take her smoke breaks on a regular & shakes her head every time someone walks in the store as if they are inconveniencing her!!! Even the sweet white older man said he was never coming back & she mocked him about it with another bean bag that was walking around the store!! HORRIBLE!!!! This store used to be great but over the past the six months it has become horrible. There is hardly any stock on the shelves although there are tons of items in boxes to be stocked on the floor. My husband is handicapped and there is no way he can get down some of the isles to get what he/we need. I dread having to go here and am grateful they recently built a Family Dollar not too far from. Although Dollar General is closer I think we will begin to go the extra mile down to the Family Dollar. It really sucks, we've been in our home for over 14 years and used to love the fact that Dollar General was just minutes away. No more. I'd give it no stars if I could. read more

That store used to function until they remodeled it now it's a joke I don't care what time of the day you go in there they can't wait on you even if there's nobody there which was usually people staying there having a conversation at the cash register but even when there's nobody there they totally ignore the customer they have two cash registers they've never use them they do everything they can to force you to check yourself out and if you don't check yourself out and you walk up to the cash register they'll walk a way to force you to go check yourself out so they don't give you any discount for doing their job for them all I can say is that place sucks since they remodeled it read more
