Inside, this place is really hit-or-miss, but it is useful. Budget Dollar carries overstock or close-out items for food, pharmacy, home decor, housewares and toys. It's more than a dollar store, as it has a lot more aisles and stuff to offer. We've found it to be a great source for packaged goods that are not prone to spoilage. For example, I once found a jumbo pack of Sazon Goya con Culantro y Achiote, which I use for making Mexican rice at home. It was so big it lasted me nearly 2 years. At the same time, I'd avoid food items with expiration dates, like the pomegranate apple sauce dated October 2008, normally around $3, sitting on the shelf marked $1 in June 2009. I bought some undated chewy pressed fruit strips at 3 for $1. While some were good and tasty, others were dry and tough as leather. Looking for tablecloths or napkins and plates for a party? Lots to choose from in a variety of colors and at unbeatable prices. Bottom line, be careful what you buy and you might walk away with quite a bargain.

He swore and kept pounding his finger on a "No Dumping" sign taped to the back door. We were standing right there and rang the bell. St. Vincent's in Iron River can kiss off- I'll take my donations to Crystal Falls where they realize that donations are what make them possible.

I called Furniture and Appliance Mart in Rhinelander, were I bought the range, reporting that the glass in the front of the oven door shattered. They told me they would send the claim to the service department. After about a month I called about the claim as they told me to do. At that time the service department told me the shattered glass was not covered, even though the factory and extended warranty were in place. No one could be bothered to advise me about this, even though we didn' t have a range. I then went in to speak with the store manager and he told me he would forward my claim to the service department.because the store did not handle warranty work. I didn't hear from the servise department so I called them. They told me the shattered glass was not covered and I would need to call LG service department. I couldn't believe how I was being jerked around. I called LG and finally got some help. They are going to send a repair tech to my house to fix the range. All this took severAl months plus many hours on the phone to do the work that the store or the service department should have done. I moved to Rhinelander about 4 years ago. Since that time I spent several thousand dollars on furniture and appliances from this store. I would have thought I would have received some servise when it was necessary. I received nothing from the store and that's exactly what they will receive from me in the future! I will never buy anything from Furniture and Appliance Mart again.
