I love that Publix has lots of BOGOs and is a "one stop shop" meaning you can get a take and bake dinner, a delicious house-made desert from their bakery, helium balloons (for a birthday for example), candles for the desert, a card from their large selection of greeting cards, fresh flowers, a gift card if needed, even high end champagne - just "soup to nuts" whatever you need for your regular grocery shopping or a special occasion. I appreciate the easy "in and out" of this corner location, and the plentiful parking. Thanks, Publix, for making life and special occasions so much easier!

The employees go out of their way to help customers. This store has all the major items other Publix stores have plus which is great since it is smaller than the store on Whitesburg and the new store on South Memorial Parkway. The pharmacy employees all go out of their way to help customers. I use this Publix for one stop shopping where I can pick up prescriptions and grocery shop. Two of the pharmacy technicians know me by name and have my prescriptions ready for pickup when they see me in line. This store has been my go to for many years. It has a small town quaintness with big town benefits.

I now have raspberry all over my hands, my car, and my bag & groceries. Don't bother coming here. What a waste of time. Entering the store on the right side at the front were several varieties of rices. I looked to the left and the cold section was the distance of the length of the store and stocked with several varieties of noodles, tofu's, vegetables, fresh fish, fresh shrimp and much more. There was NO SMELL from the seafood. I walked around the store admiring all the clean floors and shelves which is expected from a new business. The young man at the cash register was friendly and helpful. He didn't hover and I appreciated that. I purchased several items and was pleased with my grocery haul. I whipped in without hesitation - it was close to dinner time! I noticed the cute little porch and choice to go in that way rather than the front door. Walked in - and no barbeque! All I saw was pool tables and video games! Saw a door to the store and went in - still NO barbeque! I wandered around a looked; saw fishing supplies, and groceries, smoking apparatus, and a beer section - no restaurant looking area - and NO BARBEQUE. The clerk finished with her customer and asked if she could help. I told her I wanted/needed barbeque and asked, "Where is it?". She said, "RIght here". No menu, neither printed nor signage. I just said, "Pulled pork sandwich" and she convinced me I wanted a plate with two sides. Good thing that she did! I was in a weird mood, but Summer accommodated that weirdness and made me feel right at home - even changed the order to dining in (well, out on the front porch). Loved the sandwich and the sides (cole slaw and potato salad). I am not a lover of cole slaw outside of KFC, but here it was mighty fine! As was the potato salad -- and the barbeque. Summer even invited me back for the open mic night on Friday. Sounds like a fun time... maybe next week! Pretty sure I'll be returning for more barbeque sometime soon!!

Needless to say, he did not accept my return. When I got back in my car, he stuck his head right in the window and stared at me until I drove away. Their BBQ is also not the same as it was 6 months ago. It is now cold, flavorless, and saturated with mayo.
