The produce section is beautiful offering many staple items and cauliflower as big as my head! The desserts are mind blowing, chocolate, fruit, cake, rolls, tarts, gluten free...all bases are covered here! There is even a soup stand with at least 6-8 selections, to-go foods both cold and warm. Lunch options, dinner options, snacks...it's all available there! Lastly the dog treats, they are homemade and brought in by the baker/owner of the small local business on a regular basis. Several items in the store are sourced locally and the prices are comparable to other stores, maybe a little more for specialty items. All team members encountered are willing to help and answer questions and everyone was smiling and in a genuine good mood. Rare! I hate it that most Americans do not exercise social distance, and some don't even wear a mask...come on people...must you jeopardize your life and everyone else's? Beware with Meijer's and other food retailers. So, today, opted to do a pickup order, and to my disappointment, they did not include a receipt with my order. I went home to look up the actual invoice on meijer.com and it is not there...but I did see my history where most prices had increased since I placed the order. Needless to say, my order was jacked up in price...I did not get the price of the products that I paid for, instead, I was charged for the increases of prices since I placed the order. I had to go inside the store to customer service for price adjustments...defeats the entire purpose of why I wanted to do pick-up in the first place...LOL.
