Anyways the point of this review is to talk about their customer service. I've been to this grocery store multiple times since it's up the street from where I live. Personally I feel as though every time I go in store, I never get greeted. Especially at the check out lanes! I would hear the cashier talk to the previous customer but once it's my turn next, I don't even get a "hi how are you?" I don't want to come off as entitled but it almost feels unwelcoming. Maybe it's because I'm in my mid 20s and I'm asian American and not an elderly lady? However on today's visit, my cashier named Barbara was super sweet. She saw me waiting in line for another register and she offered to help me in her lane. She said "hi" to me and actually had a conversation with me. She's honestly the only reason why I'm posting this review on Yelp! We need more people like Barbara! Thank you for everything!

I was told that the 25% coupon was in the app, but it wasn't showing up in mine, even though Norman is my preferred store. Despite deleting and reinstalling the app multiple times and changing preferred stores back and forth, it didn't work. The employees didn't know what to say, except that other people had the problem too. So, why isn't there a way to apply 25% off at the register, at least for the advertised event? One worker told me to call customer service and that I *might* get a gift card. I'm sorry, a gift card for a future purchase (that may take weeks to come) is not 25% off my purchase today. That is false advertising. Instead of stocking up on a cart full of groceries, I cut my losses and only got a few items, so my long drive wasn't a complete waste. I do appreciate the cashier who gave me $5 off, but that wasn't close to 25% off and didn't make up for the fact that I need groceries right now. Times are tough with inflation and the price of everything continues to climb. I will no longer be shopping at this Natural Grocers location and I'll probably stick to Whole Foods for a bigger selection and better customer service.

Most of the great sales are in certain cuts of meat. They are usually at the front of the store as you walk in the door in a cooler as well as in the back. We bought a large package of boneless pork tenderloin I believe that was $2-$4 a package( depending on weight). We bought two! They have a lot of bulk selection too, so if you want a little bit of something without buying a whole package, you can come here and weigh out what you need only. Great selection of bulk candy, grains, and seasoning! It is in a great location as well. So if you need to go to the post office or get gas, it's all in the same few blocks. You should also sign up for their tex messages, because they have random text only deals that are fantastic deals.
