Stay away from this store! I used my debit card to check out. I did not even get home when on my debit card was 4 charges totaling over $300! I called back up to the store and they said it was not their fault. This was the only place I had been. I called the numbers associated with the charges that showed up and they were all ebook.com numbers and websites with Chinese language. Each one had a script they spoke. The card readers have been scammed don't use them! I called the bank to dispute the charges as of today I have $300 still gone from my account. I have no idea if or when I will get my money back! read more

I have to say first, that I LOVE Big Lots. I go all the time, and I have gone for years. It reminds me of the TG&Y stores I went to as a kid, but not as nostalgic. It does have quite a lot of things including food items; and the prices are good. The complaint I have about the store I go to, 3000 NW 63rd, OKC, OK is a woman named Jennifer who works mostly on weekends, which are the busiest days. She won't stop talking to folks when there is a huge line waiting to be helped. It is highly annoying, and when I mentioned it to her, she about lost it emotionally, blaming me for her unstable demeanor. I'm really a very nice person, but when you see 12 people in line, you don't carry on long conversations with each customer. There needs to be a bit more training with this one; and they could hire more cashiers as well. read more

We rarely get to Big Lots, because we live a little further than makes it convenient. In the area on this day, we stopped in to get a few kitchen items. I love the variety that Big Lots has. There are always some pleasant surprises, like the current specials on paper towels and bottled water. I pulled a good one this time. I left my phone/wallet in the cart when we left the store. Forty-five minutes later, when I discovered it, I called the store. Scott answered the phone. He happened to be the same associate that checked us out. He knew exactly why I called and assured me that that it was in the store safe waiting on me to come and get it. I can't sing enough praises for Scott. He was friendly, cheerful and helpful at checkout. He was a lifesaver 45 minutes later. read more

I'm usually a fan of Big Lots. But this location is more disorganized than I'm used to and has less clearance and discount items. Especially the food. Aldi and Winco beats them regularly on prices, Winco on selection. Furniture selection is decent, prices only average, styles more comfort over modernity. Home goods are plentiful but higher priced than competitors. End of seasons are usually the best time to shop Big Lots, when they clearance seasonal and holiday items. But I've been disappointed with the discount %'s at this location. I left empty handed last visit, which is rare for me. For a Big Lots, it's kind of a bummer. read more

Came here today and the store is fine but the bathrooms are horrible. I go here all the time and the bathrooms look like they have not been cleaned in years. It doesn't take a lot to just clean them at least once a week. Terrible. Make sure you go to the bathroom before you come here or go the Akins where it's sanitary. Just saying! read more

We went in today to look for a chair. The staff was so friendly! One lady saw us carrying the chair in the store and offered to go get us a cart. The lady at the register was smiling and friendly and offered to cut the tag off the chair before we took it home. It's so nice to go somewhere with kind people working these days! I really like Big Lots, it's a fun bargain store, from furniture to food and all the household goodie in between. My last visit was my for a St. Patrick day party and I had fun buying a lot of green for my party. Monday my daughter-in-law and I were looking for back-yard summer items for the kids and found water guns, inflatable basketball ring for the pool, place mats, picnic tablecloths, unbreakable tableware. What ever the season or special occasion, they will have it. Friendly customer service, ample parking. read more

I like this location a lot! Ample amounts of parking always available and it's further away from chick fil a so you don't run into crazy traffic there. If the associates notice there are more than 3 people in line to check out they always call up for extra cashiers. I wish more places did this! I bought my Christmas tree there last year and came back a week late it was on sale even more so i brought in my receipt and they price adjusted for me which was so nice. The store is very clean and organized they just seem to run out of stock a lot here. Associates are always helpful and friendly. read more

We always find great bargains and incredibly good customer service at this store. We love this place, and are especially fond of coming here to find European foods that we can't find almost anywhere else (least of all for reasonable prices!) in central Oklahoma. We've found lebkuchen, big (usually Appel brand) German herring, and all kinds of other delicious European foods here. Coffee and tea here aren't huge bargains, but we occasionally buy some of each at this location. There's now even a frozen food section -- not something I'm used to seeing in a "big box" discount store of any kind. Seriously -- check out the food aisles in detail. You'll be surprised. read more

I would not suggest buying ANY furniture from this store... I walk in here and spent over 1000.00 on 3 pieces of furniture less than 2 months ago, and the chair that I just had to have they didn't have in stalk so the manager tells me after 2 hours of waiting that the don't have it, but the can sell me the floor model (bad Idea). I wanted this chair so bad that I decided to go with his word that "there were no problems it was in great condition" well needless to say 2 months later the 300.00 chair I had to have it tearing apart at the seams (odiously a manufactures mishap) in 3 different places............. when I call and speak to the manager he offers NOTHING to make this situation better.. I'm not a bum I don't expect anything free I just wanted to enjoy the chair with out the stuffing falling out.. DON'T BUY HERE IF YOU WANT ANY KIND OF LONG LASTING FURNITURE.. read more

I'm going with three stars here for customer service. It is hard to get help in the store if you need it and the cashiers generally look like they hate their lives, but I love Big Lots so I ignore that. Most items are at a discount, if your worried about finding it cheaper some where else, then don't buy it here. Simple. I do a lot of price comparing and shop at many different stores, so I have no trouble deciding if something is worth buying. I love their $5 candles, slightly cheaper than Walmart's for the same size and comparable scents. Their home goods are decent, I've found a clock and a few blankets that I just love. But the holiday decor is where it's really at! I shop early for the stuff I really love and day after the holiday for marked down left overs. I always fall in love with something on sale that I didn't notice full price. This goes for Halloween, fall, Christmas and beyond! It's also pretty good quality. I've been doing this for maybe three years and everything I've purchased still works great! I will look through the food/toiletries, but you just never know what you will find. Sometimes I can knock out my list and skip the grocery store, and other times I can't find a thing. I always expect to not find everything though. This location is smaller than some I've visited, but the offerings are generally the same no matter what Big Lots you visit. read more

There is not one positive thing I can think of to say about my experience here. I found some of the exact same items, twenty minutes later, for significantly less in Target. I also got customer service at Target. My husband and I waited so long for assistance in the furniture department, I actually used my cell phone to call the store and request assistance. The cashier was a complete and total bitch. She acted like we were inconveniencing her and even made a rude comment. I have no desire to ever go back. I was appalled at the lack of customer service, the rudeness and prices that were higher than I expected them to be.
