First off the deli service was awesome. The lady was out of friend wings so she threw in a couple extra drumsticks which was awesome. Thts about where it ends. Got to the checkout. They only take cash or debit or you can write a check at the register but then they have to get a manager to approve. She be pre approval here. So I got in the self check as I had cash. 4 were debit card only and 1 of those was broke and the cash side had 3 and 2 of those were broke. The ones tht were working kept having issues and the lady there was trying to get them back up. Not a good way to run a business. I have visitors coming today and I called Winco at 10 AM to order two fried chicken to be picked up at 12:00. I spoke with a woman in the deli and she said, "we do 24 hours in advance." I said "so I can't put an order in then and she said no." What kind of business is this that would turn away customers? Ah well, Crest Foods is open. read more

New manager does NOT care about the customers! There are problems with the stockers leaving their boxes in the in the walkway and you can't get your cart around the boxes! So, we asked the new manager about it and all he said was I can't help you they leave at 10am and he walked off from me. I like this establishment! They have great prices on everyday items. I've purchased deli meat from here and it was too salty other than that the fresh sushi on Wednesday is delicious and always on sale! Oh, sorry but another complaint is the self service checkout line you have to pay with credit or debit, I thought cash was still king!! They never have many cashiers so the self service check out was an option but not with cash. Overall a clean, well stocked, decent store with decent prices! read more

I'm so glad we moved close to a Winco!! They have such good deals all the time! Like all grocery stores there are some items that are not as cheap as other places, but when they have a sale, it's amazing. Most of the great sales are in certain cuts of meat. They are usually at the front of the store as you walk in the door in a cooler as well as in the back. We bought a large package of boneless pork tenderloin I believe that was $2-$4 a package( depending on weight). We bought two! They have a lot of bulk selection too, so if you want a little bit of something without buying a whole package, you can come here and weigh out what you need only. Great selection of bulk candy, grains, and seasoning! It is in a great location as well. So if you need to go to the post office or get gas, it's all in the same few blocks. You should also sign up for their tex messages, because they have random text only deals that are fantastic deals. read more

I like how close this grocery store is to my home. I like that this store carries mostly everything that my family needs in regards to cooking. I wish that the store would carry more non-dairy products. However, I try not to interact with the staff. I will share SOME real life interactions and let you decide if you'd like to interact with the staff. (Lol) Interaction #1: Me: "I would like to order a large filet of Atlantic Salmon (~3lbs of fish). Do you mind cutting it for me?" Do not go if you have autisitc auditory issues. They have the worst carts that make horrendous clacking noise. I have raised the issue repeatedly with them and for over a year it has not been resloved. I think they are stuck with their crappy carts. Also some, though not all, of their employees are rude and aggressive. It it werent for the prices and products I would already have switched to another store. Jus a few years ago I would have given them 4-5 stars. read more

I've just recently been introduced to Winco. It's one of my favorite grocery stores. The saving are extremely good. I'll shop at Winco before I'll ever shop at a Walmart grocery store. Goodness this place is huge! The prices seemed really good and the store was very clean. We found some great deals on dry goods and dairy. The bulk items area freaked me out a little bit. The idea of the public just digging in made me unable to consider purchasing, even though they were good deals. The number of kids "interested" in whats inside really got me worried I would get more than I was bargaining for.... There were a number of specials all around the store. Keep you eyes open and you can find some really good deals. Have not tried the butcher block yet but it appeared to have some really good selections and prices if the quality is there too. read more

Im totally shocked a cashier named Anna, was so disrespectful to me tonight. I couldn't hear what she was saying so she stood there giving me such a horrible look. Once I realized it had to do with my 24 pack of water, she was already throwing my food items down the conveyor belt. I just cannot believe how people behave these days. read more

I came into winco today to do my normal grocery shopping , get to check out and the cashier has only worked there for 3 days , he decided because I have an AZ license and he didn't recognize it he couldn't sell me beer , I asked him if he didn't accept out of state IDs which I know winco does because I've been going to that same location for 3 years now and never had an issue , the cashier decided that because he didn't believe my AZ license expired in 2063 which is normal on AZ licenses that it was fake and couldn't accept it , then two other employees whom had sold me beer before all the sudden decided they couldn't accept my ID because they didn't like the expiration date and didn't recognize it I asked them if they could scan it or verify online that it was a true ID and no one helped me they said they had to go with what their supervisor said . I asked them if they could go online and verify that all AZ licenses are good until you are 65 years of age and they refused and claimed they couldn't do anything for me and they have to go on the word of the supervisor who has also checked my ID and sold me beer before . The employees did nothing to verify it was fake they just assumed and continued to embarrass me in front of a line of customers , I want to know why they have no way to scan licenses and spare the embarrassment of trying to confiscate my legal AZ license and I want to know why the employees couldn't do the proper due diligence to verify a legal license, it wasn't until after I called the store from the parking lot to ask them if they even tried to check my license and they told me they didn't do anything to check it they just decided they won't accept it , after they realized they made a mistake because of their laziness they didn't even offer and apology they continued to say that winco doesn't have any ID checking protocol besides checking the expiration date which is false , especially because if that was the case my license is good for another 41 years and their shouldn't have been an issue read more

Grand opening had a line to get in. But there were cold free waters , monster drinks and samples of food. I took advantage of the gramd opening specials such as tissue, cereal, water, soda and snacks. For only $15 dollars for 11 items. Not bad. The staff were super friendly. Some prices are better, some are not compared to other grocers in area. First time I went I got a great deal on a dozen eggs. But when I broke the eggs to fry the shells crumbled! Literally every time I had to fish out eggshells that pulverized when tapped to break. The hens must be undernourished. So qualIty is more important than price to me. Also store is so big, you need an hour just to make the rounds . Plus you have to bag your own groceries. No THANKS! So there are three better stores in less than a mile that offer comprable price & selection, much better quality & full service Im staying loyal to locally owned stores like Crest which there are two nearby. read more

So nice! After seeing run down shopping centers... here's a great example of renewing life in an abandoned area. I never heard of Winco before, so checked online and found it's an employee owned store, generally found in the MidWest and Western States, open 24/7 except some holidays, mixing bulk items w/regular & specialty items. Since it's employee owned & run everyone seems nice, always a plus. I Love the large aisles, store cleanliness, beyond wide variety, and some lower prices. They have a massive dry good 'BULK FOODS' section for people & pets. You fill-n-bag everything from candy, beans, fruits, pastas, different flours, pet & bird food onto coffee... if that's not enough, there's a variety of honey, vinegars, & olive oil to pour or almond, peanut, & cashew butter to freshly grind yourself. There's a large produce section, w/fabulous finger bananas, specialty juices, and stuff I'm sure some people won't recognize. As usual, they offer a hot & cold deli w/meat, seafood, dairy, & sushi sections w/a bakery and fresh breads... On a few sad notes; they do not make custom cakes and have no pharmacy, self bagging is also a requirement, which I prefer, keeping my bread from being squished. Back to the positives, I enjoy their seasonal sections and appreciate that they accept special orders, with 3 day notice. Overall a fun & clean store with a lot to offer. read more

Everyone was so hyped up about this place (which I'd never heard of) so I finally gave it a try. They have a great selection of many things, even a great bulk section with nuts, candies, baking mixes, etc. I love their huge ice cream selection. :) The employees mostly seem to be nice too. I like the ease of checking out and that the store is 24 hours since I'm often not home from work until near midnight and sometimes have to make a store run. They have some good deals and some rip offs, so you have to pay close attention to make sure you're not getting played. But if you do pay attention you can come out ahead! (Sometimes bigger packages actually cost more than buying several smaller packages. Read closely and bring your calculator!) read more

Beware of mislabeled product at Winco's. Have found that every time I looked at the fruit there is different numbers posted on the advertised price than the number that is on the label that's on the fruit. Sometimes the price is different. I bought some peanuts labeled as unsalted roasted peanuts in the shell but they were salted. The 2nd time this has happened in two weeks. I told the manager all this and told him that I was disappointed that he didn't treat me like a valued customers as I had to buy unroasted peanuts and roast them myself as the peanuts bins were still mislabeled. I said I can't believe you would charge me $1.63 for these nuts when I was at the store because of their ongoing mistakes. He said I should've asked for the $1.63. I went in one morning and it was around 8:30 a.m. I asked for some sandwich meat at the deli and the lady let me know they don't open until 9 but she would go ahead and get it for me. She wasn't happy. Then today I bought some kind bars that were on an endcap with a sign saying they were $2.50. They rang up $4.98 I asked the cashier to have someone check it and she told me to go take a picture with my phone! Well I did then the ice cream bars came up $4.98 and they were supposed to be $2.98. The cashier kept saying I was wrong so she called someone over and once again I went and took a picture then I had to go to the desk to get my $ back and the woman still didn't get that they were wrong. Finally she took off everything on my old receipt and started over after I showed her my pictures of the prices. I don't appreciate having to track down the prices when I don't work there. read more

I was waiting til a few weeks after they opened to visit so could wander around leisurely. I only purchased a few things today, as I was mostly just there to check it out for future purposes (I mostly buy groceries at the Tinker Commissary). The employee who was in the parking lot gathering the shopping carts in the rain was the first to greet me with a cheery "good morning!" and there were several other similar salutations as I shopped and checked out. First let me just say that the store was extremely clean & organized. I know they are new, but it's almost as if someone was lining things up on the shelves with a ruler - hourly! The produce section looked fresh and colorful but all I can say about the bulk food area is - wow. So many items to choose from! (puts Whole Foods to shame) As I meandered around the store, I did pick up a few things that I haven't seen at other stores and did some price comparisons on items I typically buy. I will definitely be back to do some shopping! I used the self checkout today, which went off without a hitch! (although there were several employees at the ready to assist) I am so glad we finally have a new grocery store in Midwest City! read more
