Lately when we stop it seems as if they are getting way out of wack with their prices. We noticed for awhile now someone is getting crazy pricing things. They seem to start off with $2.95 no matter if it even came from the dollar tree. I've seen items that were originally cheaper than their asking price. Not only are you paying more for most items they ask when you check out if you want to round up to the next 1$!! I personally would not mind if prices were cheaper. They do however have one tag they discount I think weekly. Most the time your Lucky to find one or 2 items that color. Of course we know everything is donated so why be greedy asking such high prices. I wouldn't even stop here but it's close enough to my Moms house so it's easy to stop in. Ive even been here when a few people have made the comment they were too expensive and walked out. There is plenty of parking . The donation area you pull on the side to the rear of the building. The help is usually nice to deal with. While eastbound on I-10, I found myself in need of fuel, a cup of coffee and a urinal, so pulled off the interstate and into this Circle K, on the south side of the interchange. Easy to get into. Filled up at a clean fuel pump, with hand cleaner. All good, so far. Popped in to use the restroom and grab drinks. (Coffee for me and an iced tea for the lady). Was greeted upon entry. Pleasant surprise. Clean restroom . The Subway girl offered assistance with the iced tea. Another clerk offered to help with the high-tech coffee dispenser. Imagine that... greeted AND offered help in a Circle K, by not one, but two associates. It gets better... I stepped up to pay, and the clerk behind the counter said, "Just that?" I responded, "Yes, please. Just the coffee and iced tea." He said, "Don't worry about it. They're on us this morning." The other clerk looked over and said, "Oh, yeah.. no worries, have a nice day." In hindsight, I should have tipped them, but I don't remember seeing a tip jar. That, and I was in shock. Kudos to the owner/manager of this store! I know staffing is nearly impossible. You've somehow defied the odds, and you can bet I'll stop in next time I'm in the area in need your services.
