I bought over $200. Was upset when I got home and was looking over my receipt. I small/medium tomato was listed at .54 lbs @ $4.86 lb. My cost was $2.62. I don't need fresh tomatoes that bad. I will have to eat it quick at that price, so it doesn't spoil. I didn't notice a price at the tomatoes, I would not have bought it. I noticed Walmart Market (I don't like to go there) has reduced their tomatoes? But Over All the Prices Are Not So Bad at Foodoutlet. The People are very nice and friendly...I know them on first name bases. The guy's outside are very helpful, with your buggy and some are very Christian People. Always saying have a blessed day. Dustin is a helpful young man and several others. . Ms. Kathy is very nice, Friendly helpful. Also is ms. Debbie.. The guy in the produce was helpful . My first time seeing him. Terry used to be there and also was very friendly and helpful but has moved to the Back with cakes and bakery products. Brandy also is helpful. The store was pretty clean as well. While in the area, I wanted to check out this store. I never heard of a food outlet. I picked up some spices and some bread flour (as I recently bought a bread machine). I noticed the bread price was about half of what I usually pay and didn't save the receipt to compare as others had suggested. The spices I would have bought, discounted or not, because they were available in bulk. If you know your prices I believe you can do well. In retrospect, I would have checked my receipt, having read what others wrote. I would return. read more

I bought 6 frozen burritos (burritoes?) and the price in the freezer was $0.59...the price at the register was $0.90. Add in the 10% surcharge and I got screwed to the tune of almost $2. I somehow lost my receipt, so I couldn't prove it, but you should meticulously check your ticket for what you thought the prices were vs. what you actually paid. read more

A store I frequent on a daily basis, considering I'm in walking distance and I drive my nieces scooter up there to get sodas from the soda machines all the time. Overall had great experiences, until tonight. I suppose I came in too close to closing, but let me paint you a picture here...One cashier open, two baggers standing around riding the clock (one who is either still learning her side work or didn't finish it properly) (I know because I heard all in the 10 minutes I stood there) There was a decent line and I used to work there, so I know to exchange my 20 pennies, I need a manager to come to the podium to give me change. So I wait, because I've been there and used to work the exact shift...so after the two baggers walk away without asking me if I need anything, I proceed to ask the woman cashier to call (over a phone in arms reach might I add) a manager, so I could get some change. Which I thought wouldn't be a big deal because her last customer was also an employee. I was greeted with attitude. And on top of this, while patiently waiting, someone else tried to walk in (a little too close to closing time may I add again) because one of the lovely women yelled (and I say yelled because it was yelled) "Three minutes." Nothing less, nothing more. Unprofessional, unGodly, unnecessary. 2 stars because Mrs. Carla is a Saint, you employees at night are NOT showing a good example of who she is as a woman or how she runs a business. And I never once got to see or speak to a manager, two other very respectful, professional employees offered to give me change. Just like other outlet stores one has to pay attention to the deals but the crowds seem to love this new store - clean, big aisles, friendly staff, cart returns in the parking lot. I thought the veg selection was slim but the basics and looked fresh. I think bananas at 49 cents/lb + 10% is still cheaper than Walmart and a lot closer...so gas isn't eaten up as you idle at the stop lights on the way to Pace. The parking or loading in the front is common at every store in this city so avoid trying to pull in from the front. A little exercise from the parking lot is good for everyone. LEt's keep this one clean and new, Milton Residents. This is a store in our area we can be proud of...much better than the empty hull that sat there for the last 6 years. This post is about the meat department. Some butchers there play the hide and seek game sometimes. Ever get home with your pork chops that look great on top, only to find some really bad fatty bad cuts on the bottom that you can't see? why do this in this day and age? its unacceptable. Bought the other day a nice looking cut of beef bones and low and behold, got home, and underneath hiding under those nice cuts was a huge flat bone (that took up all the weight of the package) . I kind of think this is deceptive . Let the public SEE what they are buying, dont play the hide it here game. Gonna show the manager today, I have already called the meat department and heading down there as we speak. read more

It's current hours are 7 to 9 pm. This place has some great deals, much better than Walmart in some areas like cheese and frozen foods. It also has some good tobacco and alcohol prices, it does have some good off brand items, such as cleaning and hygiene sections among others. read more

Have been going to Pic-n-Sav and Food outlet for over fifteen years. Love the service. It's usually a great experience, except today. Not one person on staff had any PPE on, no masks at all. I made the comment to our cashier who just said "I figure if I was going to get it, I'd have it already." My husband and I only go into town for groceries, medication and Dr appts. Everybody in Florida knows we're at all time highs with Covid19 and more cases are spiking every day! I've talked to a lot of friends and they say they aren't coming back until the current wave is done with. Walmart is a little further but they are doing all they can to keep the community safe, by using PPE. I won't risk my husband or my own heath to carelessness. We are health compromised so it's even more risky. Sorry FO, but I won't risk my health over a few less miles to drive. :( read more

Bring a calculator with you so you can add the 10% and know exactly how much you are spending before you get to the register. Be sure that the SKU number on the item matches the one on the price label, too; to avoid disappointments at the register. The prices can't be beat easily anywhere around here for boxed and canned goods. I like their combo butcher boxes...great deals for families! The staff is always polite and friendly and go out of their way to try to help you. :) The store is clean and has a welcoming atmosphere. I enjoy shopping at this store! read more

I am wondering how much tax rate is at Food Outlet store in Milton, FL? Why there is not showing tax rate on the bill? My total bill is $30.61, in while Non-taxable Grocery costs $8.18, so the total cost tax charged should be only $22.43. But the bill showing the amount tax charge is $3.05. Is it tax charged higher than 10%. That's really big number compared to many other stores like Walmart. read more

Kudos to the Food Outlet for rolling in the pallets of water and not price gouging, during the hoarding for Hurricane Irma! So many local places, including the "Dollar" stores, raised their prices on water, as soon as they heard there was a shortage. My daughter paid more than a dollar for a 16 oz bottle at Family Dollar! The Food Outlet price never wavered! Thank you for that! read more

Check your receipts. I was double charged a couple of times. The scanner is very sensitive at some registers.Some of their stuff is higher than Wal-Mart w/ 10% added on! The cashiers could be friendlier. Some don't even acknowledge you until the end when you need to pay. read more

motivated by pork chops today was my first visit to food outlet since they've opened.i bought a pack of pork chops in the styrafoam tray and the top layer was a good represtation of what was underneath,unlike a chain store here in pace. the isles were wide,the store was clean and the employees were very friendly.I feel like I am helping the small business man instead of the corporate bottom line by shopping there.I don't write many reviews so excuse my typing. man those were some good pork chops.
