Then he did have someone else take the other. Gave instructions about cake. Went to pick up cake today. The cake was wrong. He still gave attitude. Got cake home. The icing was hard. The cake is gross. It was an old cake. Very disappointed. Most employees there are now rude. They shove you out of the way when stocking a shelf you are looking at. They are in a hurry and run you over in the aisle while stocking or filling their online orders. This used to be a good store. Not anymore.

The pharmacist ignored the facts, became aggressive in tone, and started to manipulate the situation, making me feel like I was in the wrong. To make matters worse, he attempted to downplay the situation by offering me a discount of $25, which seemed like a mere attempt to brush things under the rug. I suspect they initially charged my insurance company a significantly higher amount, likely $500 or more, and the pharmacist seemed more concerned about deflecting the issue than addressing it fairly. His unprofessional behavior, lack of empathy, and failure to communicate properly with me made me lose all trust in this pharmacy. This experience was not only disrespectful but also raised serious concerns about the lack of understanding of basic procedures, including HIPAA regulations. I strongly feel that this pharmacist's actions were inappropriate and unprofessional, and I would recommend avoiding Giant Eagle Pharmacy in the future. The treatment I received was unacceptable, and I will never trust them with my healthcare needs again. I said I needed help to the clerk opposite me at the belt line, and he did not call for help for me. His current customer told him I needed help as she finished her order. He ignored me, and kept up with his line. I then asked him to call someone for help, and he ignored me again. At this pt. I am frustated at not getting help since I had about $150 of items in cart, and said, Don't you work here? He said, "If you were not so rude I would have helped you," as he kept checking other people out. I explained that I had asked nice, and his customer had told him I needed help, and he ignored me. He finally came over and scanned the couple problem items, and after that when he could see I was having trouble imputing the code from water, he asked, about it, and he was able to put the item in my machine from his! So why didn't he help prior?? I should have left my cart sitting there with all the groceries and walked off! I wish I would have, as the interaction ruined my Sunday, as I went home upset and with a headache! As he walked off from his station, I told him I was never coming back to this store again. I really wouldn't care much about that but I needed something and three workers saw me looking up and down the aisles but continued their own conversations and walked past. It was so evident I needed assistance and equally evident that they weren't engaged with me so it frankly felt awkward for me to interrupt them. Old decor is one thing, disengaged service is altogether different. By contrast, Rite Aid across the street was opposite in every way. It made me wonder why I haven't gone there in so long.
