This is certainly one of my favorite thrift stores. There is a good variety of items and their pricing is really affordable compared to other thrift stores in the area. The layout of the store is pretty good but could feel crowded if there are lots of people inside. There is plenty of parking in front of the building- I've never had an issue with parking. Happy Trails Thrift Shop is one of my regular stops when I am out thrifting in the Akron area. Located on Merriman Road just South of the Cuyahoga Valley National Park, Happy Trails is a great place to shop. The shop has a nice variety of decor, knickknacks, kitchenware, jewelry, collectibles, art books and lots of other stuff; they do not carry clothes, shoes and similar items. The thrift shop benefits the Summit Humane Society, so they have a nice selection of pet supplies and toys. I enjoy Happy Trails for the collectibles and art items. Over the years I have gotten a number of interesting items, recently I picked up a small carved Asian wood panel and a small replica Samuri helmet. I have also picked up pans, collectible pins and a backpack from Happy Trails. You can never be sure what they will have for sale, but they always have an interesting selection. They also have some really good high-end items most of which are up front near the register; they also usually have some nice antiques or vintage items. Overall prices are very reasonable especially because of the quality of the items they are offering. If you are in the area a stop at Happy Trails Thrift is well worth your time, they always have some fun items and great selection. Plus it is great to help support the Humane Society either by donating or buying something at the store. The staff at the store are wonderful and very friendly. read more

Amazing! I found a cat tree for only $15 !!!! I found a bird cage with toys perches and food dishes for like $20 its amazing here prices are great and all profits go towards the humane society its an animal shelter i love that. read more

First time coming here. This place is really immense and mostly full of nic naks and collectable items but they do keep up with the changing seasons here with rotating their items. This place is always active and it draws in a great crowd. I did however find a few games / puzzles that were missing some pieces but I did find some great stamps! read more

As a former volunteer of The Humane Society of Summit County I might be biased but this shop has everything you could possibly want. I continue to to shop there. All the proceeds really do go to the shelter (other than electric/water/insurance. I might even volunteer once I get my medical issues resolved. Please adopt a rescue!!!!!! read more

Super cool shop with very reasonable prices on certain items, it's been pretty packed the last few times I've been in with both materials and people. I love this thrift store that raises money for the Summit County Humane Society. They have all kinds of items here. You can spend a long time here just looking around at everything. Their prices are almost always very low or lower than other thrift stores. And they even have sales on top of the already low prices. Everything is sorted into sections-books, crafts, purses, kitchen stuff, photo frames and wall decor and much more. In fact they just reorganized the whole store. I always find what I'm looking for no matter how random it is and I've found lots of items that I wasn't looking for! Photo collages, frames, candles, throw pillows, books, baskets, glass bottles, dishes, pans, wreaths, purses, and home decor. They have some small furniture and other items outside. They are stocked from donations and the items for sale change quickly. So if you see something you are undecided about-buy it because it won't be there next time! Also the staff members are really friendly. You should check it out-I think you'll agree this is a can't miss kind of place. read more

We recently moved back to Ohio from sunny Florida. Florida has a load of thrift stores,however very few offer the goods we find here at this store.
