At this store all coupons will not apply even when you scan it on the store app and coupons will apply in the store app when you get to the cash register it's gonna be $6 to $12 more.... What I like about this store is they have unusual and regional foods you don't find at the usual grocery stores. Which is what I came in for and got. Some canned foods and some snack foods. The freezer section has some pretty good looking things as well. What I think is kinda strange is how there's chips and soda in like 4 different spots in the store. It was kinda odd to me. Why not put them all in a single aisle even if it's an entire aisle? The store was really clean. The cashier was pretty friendly and speedy when it was time to go. I've not been able to find as much that appeals to me in here as I have in Rosamond for some reason but I'll come back to shop. read more

Each item i purchased today except for one out of 6 were priced wrong. When the item was sitting right across from the register said $2.25 said it all..she didn't correct the price her excuse was its not enough employees how is that the customers fault? Its not right to cheat hard working people we shop there because its cheaper than Giants and yall ripping us off with false prices on the shelves thats a big issue. I had a terrible experience at this Dollar General. The employees were extremely unprofessional and even went as far as to threaten to fight me over a simple question. Customer service was nonexistent, and the atmosphere was hostile. I do not feel safe shopping here and will not be returning. and apparently i've been caught stealing and can never go back to the store, but when asked for proof of me stealing they said they couldn't give me proof.al because one employee does not like me. read more

I sent a complaint to their corporate office about these problems in this store. that email was just sent to the store manager who obviously is the problem that is store is not stocked all the way and his employees give out really bad information when you ask. His email reply to me was very condescending. So we decided to go to the Walmart Neighborhood Market. Let me tell you their prices are as cheap as Dollar General. Plus you have fresh produce, fresh meat, and it's very fast getting in and out of that Walmart nlNeighborhood Market. when I complain to corporate about this Dollar General I thought I would get an email reply from somebody high up in the management. but when they email get sent to the store manager that is caused the problem with that store of course you're going to get a condescending email from somebody who mismanges one of their Dollar General Stores ! To Funny. I guess this place doesn't have any kind of refrigeration repair people they can call that will get over there really quick. Went there tonight and all the refrigeration is off because it broke down. So they had to tape off all the freezers and all the coolers so no one can open them because all the food is spoiled now. You think a store like this would be able to call somebody in an emergency to fix something. But because the head manager general manager there it's such an idiot they're going to have to throw away thousands of dollars of food. So this is the first time I went there my sons dad wanted to go a small store we got there about 3:00pm, they unlocked the door and said no toilet tissue. Because they unloading the truck.I said ok. The Palmdale CA location on Palmdale Blvd has the most atrocious customer service I have ever witnessed!! Today was my breaking point with these employees! I politely asked for a cart that did not have those ridiculous metal poles that prevent a person with MANY purchased items from carting those items all of 20 feet to the parking lot. These employees instead of offering assistance go blathering on about cart theives!! REALLY??? This is acceptable Dollar General employee behavior? They stand and watch me have to take FOUR trips from the store to the parking lot because I didn't have a CART !!! How can any reasonable person think this okay???? read more

It's in a very rundown shopping plaza, but is newer and clean. Very well stocked with both Dollar General and name brand products. I love their Dollar General dog food and applesauce. They have great clearance/sales, I picked up a pair of massaging wedge sandals (had been $12.99) for under $3. Lots of cute seasonal stuff and gift/party stuff. read more

This store is clean and welcoming at times when your in a rush. The staff is friendly and their prices are not that bad. The only complaint would be that there is no carts that much around and it needs some music or something cause I never linger there for too long for some reason. Thoroughly disgusted with this location. Since the phone line is down I'll leave a public complaint about the cashier BRIANNA over something so petty as balloons. Ha. I went in got a few items asked for a balloon and the cashier Brianna said "I don't think we have those ones" so I have her the Benefit of the doubt and asked for multiple different types and she's like well I don't think we have any balloons" Clearly evident she didn't want to check. In response I said "Are you just going to assume that there are no balloons in stock at all instead of walking over there?" She sarcastically rolled her eyes and shrugged without response so I told her" It's Fine I'll do your job for you." I walked over to the balloons found what I wanted right away had to get in line twice and asked her do you normally make your customers go and do your job and get back in line twice without a simple apology?" She in return argued with me totally unprofessional and disgusting. While I'm taking the time to post this as a first time customer, need I mention this store is filthy there's trash, food someone's opened from their stock and eaten not to mention drinks from other fast food places on the shelves.
