I bought seven dresses online, and I didn't care for them, so I needed to stop by and return them. I had the receipt, and there was no problem returning them, except they don't reimburse the shipping fees. I was out ten dollars. As an investor I'm happy to see TJ Maxx poppin every time I come in. As a customer I am sick and tired of coming here at all hours of the day ( open/ lunch/ before closing) and the line is ALWAYS wrapped outside the checkout isle and having 2-3 cashiers. I am extremely understanding and patient but after multiple visits and seeing this hasn't been addressed is very irritating and frustrating. Truth be told I even walked in one day and walked right back out after glancing at the line. read more

Terrible customer service. Long lines all the time! Could be managed better. Waited 45 mins to make purchase and found one item defective. Always long line with 2 cashiers, used to be when line is long everbody in d back goes and do cashier and when it dies down then they go back to their stations. They always have a long line and it seems as the manager is more concerned as bout cleaning up than taking care of customers. 6 people behind the counter, 3 cleaning and 3 cashier. It takes at least 30 minutes to cash out. Easy fix , take care of customers and clean when it's slow. So frustrating read more

They do have plenty of clearance displays but none caught my eye. The store was not fully stocked and some shelves were empty. I asked the cashier and she said "they are still on the way". Hmm. Let's see about that. The carts are even inside now, occupying a good portion of their space. I don't remember seeing them the first time. I went to check the women's section. I found a nice Black Jumpsuit, a lovely petite Red Dress and a Blowfish Sneaker. There was a line to the register but it went fast. They have 7 opened registers. read more

They have some nice merchandise but imagine the disappointment when, after strolling through the store and picking out a few finds, you get to a checkout line that's worse than a Disneyland ride line with one cashier?? Although TJ Maxx's always have good selection of clothing and household goods and value / pricing is reasonable; service at this TJ Maxx in Palmdale, Ca is horrible! There was a huge line with only 2 registers open. When I get to the front of the line, one of the cashiers that was open starts chatting with another worker behind the counter and leaves the register for a bit. These cashiers need to be trained on the importance of good customer service. I was passing thru and will never stop by that TJ Maxx again. read more

This store is the worst at customer service. Lines are always towards the back of the store and it's never no more than 3 registers open. With tons of ppl behind the counter chatting, or picking up things and putting it at another location behind the counter. Managers pulling ppl off register to put things away or stock. Today I overheard the manager tell them to focus putting things back so they don't take too long at closing. Telling them to put things back in hangers and etc. The manager is mishandling customers time and staffs time. No one wants to come in and wait 45 mins in line and watch workers not being using company time correctly read more

This is the worst TJ Maxx I've ever been to! Don't go there unless you're willing to wait over half an hour to pay. It happens every time I go there. I keep trying thinking it will be different but it's always the same and after 20 minutes waiting in line it notice the manager in charge was talking to another employee then walked away. Came in on a Tuesday morning and was surprised how busy it was. I saw lots of employees on the sales floor but only 2 ringing people up, while the line was wrapped around and went back to the pet section. It took me almost an hour to get checked out. Store management needed to get the people off the floor and onto the registers till the line died down some. Very poor execution and I will just continue to go to Marshalls: they make sure all hands or on deck when the line has over 50+ people in line. read more

My only complaint about this store is the endless line! It's become so bad and frustrating I've started going to the Golden Valley store in Santa Clarita. There is absolutely no excuse for having 20-25 people in line and consistently having 1 register going when there's employees. I was browsing waiting for my mom to finish paying the time was 9:30 when they had just announced the store was closed.. this "lady" assuming the supervisor, took the time to come to me where the jewelry department was (literally right at the front of the store) to tell me "excuse me ma'am" "we are now closed"... excuse me but yes I know you're closed. I'm obviously NOT the only person in the store.. stupid ignorant lady.. these people need more customer service training or the manager needs to reevaluate their choice in management. read more

It's fun for anything but clothing. The clothes are just too pricey. You'd think the would have good deals on them, but clearance is about $2 off regular price. They have affordable makeup, face wash, haircare, which would be what I would go for. I love the store, but not such a steal compared to Marshalls. read more

This place has great brand name products for way less than other stores. Their make-up section is great and I love their home goods.

I've always had a good experience at this TJ MAXX. Sure somethings may seem more expensive but it's my decision to take home something or not. Cost vs. worth. I think right now it's especially important to be encouraging to each other and promote businesses. Thank you TJ Maxx workers. I think the two ladies that were working on the day my sister and I were at this store were having such a bad day they took pleasure in being rude to the customers. The looks of annoyance and the way they were whispering about the other customers was absolutely terrible. I love T.J. Maxx in general. I'm the kind of shopper that doesn't mind searching a little for a good deal. From this particular location, I've found things like Sam Edelman Gigi sandals for $40. I feel like their baby clothing is kind of lacking but their baby gear is great! I've gotten stuff like the OXO perfect pull wipes dispenser for $12 and children's books that are typically $14+ for $3.99. Other baby brands I've seen are Boon, Melissa and Doug, and Skip Hop. read more

I like going to this store for all of the sale items. I have found a lot of household items that you see at Macy's and Dillard's but a lot better price here I got a set of glasses for 40.00 and the same glasses was 100 for the set of six at Macy's .They also have a lot of designers things for your pets. read more

I love this store, always awesome deals and nice employees, however, I dread trying things on because their fitting rooms are so freaking dirty. There's always so much dust and dirt on the floor it's ridiculous. The need to figure this out. Also, if you wanna find the patches of hair that your eyebrow lady missed while waxing your eyebrows, go in the fitting rooms. Always seems to reel me in and sometimes convinces me to buy things I never thought I needed until I saw it. The store is always very clean and organized, staff is great and prices are very convincing. Great place to shop for home trinkets, kitchen utensils and stationary. I've stopped in here a few times recently, and its a cool store! I feel it is along the lines of a marshalls, ross, etc but bargains are to be had.
