Most things are more expensive then Dollar Tree. There's definitely a lot of made in China stuff that's obv sketchy cheap materials. They do have some great specials of over suppliers that are a great price like I found some Saltines that at other stores cost like 3.50 for $2 . My hair clip was $1 and sign was .80c. My hand soap was $1.50. They have a aisle full of cute hair clips and all the Mexican candy of your dreams. Always know your prices to get good deals. Inflation! See my pics read more

I don't know where to start! I've been to this location multiple times and never have I got treated the way I did today. I actually know one of the owners, and it's crazy they have that type of person working for them. I walked in today after a long day of work to just buy some balloons for my sisters birthday. one keep In mind the balloons have their own line. So I got In the line for the balloons and could not really see what kind they had so I stepped to the side where they have multiple balloons on a wall to preview which ones you'd like. I had my eye on a couple then tryed returning to where I was at which she knew I had been waiting and the girl that was in front of me noticed to and said she was behind me . So the cashier proceeded to helping me out after getting upset and telling me things which I don't understand what was the problem? And I didn't want to fight with her and told her if it's going to be a big deal I'll get back in line!! If she was having a bad day it isn't anyone's fault but hers to choose how she wants to proceed with her day but ma'am you are not going to treat me that way and roll her eyes. Did not get her name but she had orange looking hair, in braids. Ps girl if your reading this get purple shampoo your in need of a good shampoo!!! Anyways bye, probably never coming back here again. This store is an absolute lifesaver, I was able to find face masks for $1.29 and face mask with a filter for $3.99 THATS ABSOLUTELY A GOOD DEAL!!! I'm at the store every other day getting essential supplies to protect myself, my husband, and my kids from catching the coronavirus. The knic knats are on point especially when you love to bargain shop. I've been here at least 4 times, and on the 4th time, there was an incident, so there may not be a 5th time. It's horrible to be profiled by the police and Korean shop owners, but to come in a freaking dollar store, come on. I purchased a large plant pot and the next day, I was in the store to purchase something else. I mentioned to one of the clerks of my pot planter purchase and she informed me that a base comes with my planter. Oh I was happy. Since I didn't come to the store for the base, I didn't have the receipt on me. I showed the clerk my bank app showing purchase at Dollar House. They wanted to know what time I was in the store so they could watch the video showing I purchased the plant pot. @$#!@, Well after 20 minutes, they come back and say, the pot planter I purchased doesn't come with a base to hold the water.. This store is packed with stuff. It's a treasure hunt. Has a lot of different stuff than the 99 cent store and dollar tree. It has really good party and gift items, lots of housewares and office supplies. Also very good selection of small tools. During winter they have really nice mittens, hats and scarves. The area around it is nasty and lots of weirdos in the parking lot but the store itself is clean. read more

They sell defective/refurbished items. I bought a 10 quart Bistro Elite Pressure Cooker that I thought was new. I paid like $90. Took it home used twice on second time it just shut off and won't come on , display is dead. I call to get return procedures. They tell me that they only accept returns within 7 days and only for store credit......WHAT???? I would not have bought anything like that there under them circumstances. I researched this product and though it has good ratings, more than half have experienced what I did. It stopped working within a few times use. I'm sure this Dollar House got a deal on a bunch of knowingly defective pressure cookers that people returned. I say this because my pot seemed warped inside like I'd put a little liquid it would go to the sides the middle was raised like it had been used before. Anyways there's no way this store should be robbing people like this. You know this product is defective and you selling a bunch of them. Most people are not going to use it right away or like me it worked well the first time I used but within 2 weeks it's dead. I can't get my money back that's absurd. Cool place. They have just about everything.. The only problem is not everything is a dollar. I gave them a 5 star because there are a lot of stuff they sell cheap... Things you'll find at Walmart for way more money. This is my favorite place when I am on a budget. Better than the 99 cents store. read more

This is a good quality "dollar store". I asked once about their prices and was told that everything is a dollar or less and if it has a price tag, then that's the item's price. They carry Tide and Clorox for example. Those kinds of name brand items will be priced at lower prices than you might find at retail stores. They also carry the regular items you will find at the 99 Cents Only Stores and at Dollar Store including some dollar items you can find at Dollar General and Family Dollar stores. The difference is that you will find items those places may not carry or used to carry a long time ago. You will also find closeouts at super low prices. I bought a pack of those 12" x 12" foam mat squares that look like large, puzzle pieces. I bought the pack for $7.99 and at Walmart they sell that same pack right now for $14 or more. The Dollar House has a very, large selection so plan to come and explore for a couple of hours. It's crammed with that much stuff. Also, remember to BYOB (bring your own bags) or else they will charge you for them just like most stores do now. If your shopping cart is full, someone will walk you out to your car, help load your car, and take the shopping cart back into the store. Just ask the cashier for help. I go there every few months and usually drop $20 to $50 there. The employees are polite and helpful if you ask for help. I haven't had any bad experiences with the security guards and always say hi to them when I go inside. They aren't always the same guy. They have never been rude to me. read more
