Since my last review I've been to this store several times. I've caught on to the "order online and pick up at the store". I see that they even have "curbside" service now with all that is going on in the world. I hope that will continue into the future. Saves time from having to go into the store. So, today I was looking online to see about buying some dog food and was planning to do like what I have done on the past a just ordered online and then later pick it up. But the online site kept sending me over to the new Apple Valley store as the pick up location. So now I'm wondering did the Hesperia store close? Or is it that the Hesperia store is low on their inventory and the Apple Valley store is the closest one to me that has what I am looking to buy. I sure hope the Hesperia store has not closed. I arrived an hour before closing. Called the store, the employee told me that the outside was closed. I ordered a horse supply mat 4x6 and its extremely heavy. The employee try to dismiss me and told me to come back the next day. I explained to him that I drove from LA to pickup this product. Thats when he said that he will get the product for us but he will have to slide it under the fence and I will have to pull it out on my end which was ridiculous because I was extremely heavy for me. I had 2 kids in my car as well. I had to get out of the car, pull the heavy horse mat from under the fence and lift it onto my truck. The employee walked away while I struggled to out the mat in my car. I have never experienced this kind of service before. It was extremely frustrating and disappointing! I really like coming here because they have what most people need to take care of the large lots in the area the only complaint I have is that they are always out of the 1/2x42 and 1/2x43 belts at this location aswell as the Victorville one. If they know they run out of this particular size why wouldn't they carry more on hand. Common sense. read more

I purchased a 50 pound if dog food here. I got it home and was going to add it to a big container with a top when I noticed one of these disgusting clumps of yuck was in the top of the bag! Come to find out, these disgusting clumps were all through the bag! Of course i took it back after loading and unloading this heavy bag myself and the time and gas it took to take this disgusting dog food back to the store! All they did was put change it for a different bag! How nice of them to offer maybe some coupons or something for my trouble but no! They acted like they were doing me a favor just by exchanging it! read more

Literally worse place we have up in Hesperia. Costumer service sucks especially manger Richard he was rude from the start when we were talking about our issue with a shipment error. The only one who was able to help us was Angel he was an actual angel to my dad and us helping us from the beginning to end and had alot of patience. Quality of tractor supply has drastically gone down. We used to purchase our animal feed from them weekly. They then raised their prices, and the quality went down. This is the third time on separate occasions that we have gotten rotten moldy dog food. The first time their corporate office contacted us and gave us a refund. They stated they would look into it and make sure it didn't continue to happen. We then purchased dog food from another feed store for months. We decided to give this location another try and nothings changed. It's just as bad. read more

The people here are always very nice and helpful! Most of the time they go out of there way to get your attention and ask you if help is needed. This is highly unlikely in your larger Big Box stores! We just stopped into Tractor Supply because Costco was out of dog food. We wanted to know what was best for our dogs. We were then greeted by Cody and he ask if we needed help. He went through all the dog foods and help us make a good decision and help us with a sample in case the dogs didn't like it we could bring the big bag back. He then helped with some safe info and was very helpful and really nice and personable. It makes you feel good when people are pleasant and you can tell they enjoy their job! We have come in several times and notice that they never have back up cashiers. Its very frustrating when there is a long line which is usually each time we have been there. Today I asked someone if they would call for a back up cashier, and then I had to ask again before the guy called for one. By the time we got to the register(after 7 people in front of us), the back up cashier showed up. Wow! REALLY??? To the Manager- Please pay more attention to whats happening at the Front End!! I came to buy some burning pellets as as I usually do every week. I usually just get online and ask the cashier to charge me for how many pallets bags I need. I did not realize that I cut in front of the line and these lady in the cash register she was by herself Told me in a very rude way that I cut in front of the line and when I asked the person did I cut in front and he said I don't I don't know and she replied. Yes she did in a very rude way. I'm never had any problem with anybody, but this lady is very rude, her name is Trinity and she was working right next to Dan about 3:20 PM. I went there with friend to get dog vaccinations and ran into the rudest cashier asking him if they had vaccinations for dogs he stated in the nastiest tone I don't know anything we have look in the back refrigerator not even telling me where it was located when we did find it...it was locked, needless to say we left letting him know we aren't returning there ever again. There are other places to get it so you should NEVER talk rude to customers or you will lose them... feed stores as well as Amazon are free delivery and you don't have rude cashiers. Love this place. Have been going for the dog food since I found out my baby has food allergies and also needs joint meds. They have a senior dog food that is grain free and she loves it. It keeps her going like a teen ager. She is now going on 14. My son brought his two to visit and his 13-14 year old hurt her hip running in the backyard, so I started feeding her my doggies food and we also got a liquid joint juice after a few days Betty is a dog he never saw before. She is happier and moving like a teenager (the son has never seen her like this her entire life). Staff is amazingly familiar with every part of the store and know what to suggest when given the situation. I really like going in here. read more

Went to a loooooong and slow line to wait even more till the cashier ends her casual chat with a fellow employee and looks confused at my chain. Made a stop here to pick up supplies for a ranch my family just moved too in the mountains near by. They have a wide selection of stuff for the ranch but also cloths and smaller items you may need. I recommend calling ahead or searching online if there is a specific items to make sure it's in stock before arriving. read more

I am so excited that they had baby ducks and chicks for sale. I noticed that the feed stores had ducks and chicks for sale and I love ducks. The price at the feed store was almost $8 for a duck and $4 or $5 for a chick. They had ducks and chicks for half the price. The ducks were less than five dollars and the chicks were a $1.99. I had to get some ducks because they are adorable. I also got all the fence parts I needed for my goat pen. I saved a lot of money and the employees helped me. I had three kids with me and needed help loading the fence parts and I didn't even have to ask. The FFA kids were doing a fundraiser drive to raise money. I donated and they let the kids take their time signing the papers. My niece was excited to write her name and stick it on the wall. Having this store is great because I save money. read more

Wow, this place is really cool. This supply store has a lot to offer. Anything from dog food to tools, work clothing to tractor supplies. You get the idea, they have a huge variety of items. So you don't need a tractor to go inside. They have great prices on their Carhart clothing line. I am almost due for some I'm getting due for some tractor tires soon and I saw some rears Im going to pick up. The staff is very helpful and knowledgeable. We've always fed them dry food mixed with wet food as they got older and bigger quick we needed to find a more affordable food because the other brands were just too expensive. My review is for the Apple Valley location, for some reason I can't find it on Yelp . Anyways it's such a great store and today we took our dog in to use their dog bath center and it was just a great experience. They provided everything (shampoo, towels, brushes, dryer). She usually goes to a groomer and will continue to (because we love our groomer lol) but this was an awesome thing to be able to have available in an instant. Also the staff are just the nicest people, so helpful and great happy personalities! Specifically the assistant manager who provided us with more towels and a coupon for our next visit! Great pricing, clean and friendly staff . Tractor supply is one of my favorite stores and I'm shopping there at least a couple times per month. I've been to the norco, Yucaipa , Hesperia and Oklahoma stores and they all have the same family feel. Everytime I go in to buy feed, it isn't stocked. I have to ask them to go back and check for it. The employees are lazy AF. Yesterday a male employee brought up a bag of feed for me and didn't even put it on the cart for me. That's a 50lb bag. I had to lift it myself. They need some serious training in customer service. But when I call, they tell me that only ONE of my 2 items is there. No one at the store or at corporate will help me! Tried to buy a dog house that was returned literally 2 mins before and manager told me that someone else bought it already, yet it sets. Evidently holding for himself or who knows what. Looking at gun safes and trying a combo to look inside.... an employee stands watching me then scolds me on touching it. Another 50 plus year old that can't hold a job bc of a poor attitude and wonders why he's working there for $10 an hour. Not sure if this is an isolated store or the whole chain is like this. First time going into the store today after passing by it for years. I fell in love with the store as soon as I walked inside. But something really sad happened to me there and I just couldn't get it out of my head so I had to come on here and let people know about my first time at Tractor Supply in Hesperia. I was walking around the store for about 20 minutes and I picked up a jack and a tow hitch for my vehicle and placed them inside my shopping cart, I then left my cart inside the store and walked out outside to the (garden) section were they have fencing and water storage tanks for sell. I was outside looking at the different sizes and prices on their water tanks, no employees outside to help me with any questions I had. So I decided to walk back inside, get my cart and just check out. As I was headed back inside the building a young man in his late 20's to early 30's about 6' y'all with a beard (employee wearing a Tractor Supply shirt) was coming outside and I thought he was going to ask me if I had any questions on the items that were on sale outside but he didn't ‍. The SAD part about the entire thing is that when I turned around to ask him a question, he was searching around the area that I had just left and on the outside perimeter of the fence to see if I had threw something over or hid something in between the water tanks. Now I GET IT!!! It's the high desert and they have their FAIR share of low-life's but DAMN!!! When I turned around to ask him a question and saw him searching around the area I was just in... smh. I didn't say anything to the manager or raise a stink but at that moment I felt SUPER LOW. I still purchased the items that were in my cart and I will someday go back because it's an AWESOME store but we have to be better people to one another. It just sucks because that's sadly the type of world we live in now. read more
