It's the fall vaccine season so, as an older Yelper I needed three shots and I like to do mine separately as opposed to simultaneously. This is my story. Online- An absolutely wonderful experience. Well-designed and easy to understand and navigate. Do all your paperwork here instead of on a clipboard at the pharmacy. I hate those clipboards! Appointments- You can go either way at Publix. You can do first-come-first-served or by appointment. If you enjoy root canals, go without an appointment! If you like smooth efficiency, get one online. It's quick and simple. So, I had three appointments over about five weeks. * For each one I was seen either early or on time. * There was no onsite paperwork! In just one case I needed to do an electronic signature. That's it! * In every case I was treated professionally and by genuinely friendly folks. * I can't tell you what a pleasure it was to walk out of the store 5 minutes after my appointment time on three separate occasions! Luckily (or not so lucky) I was able to put the order in again because my party was on the 15th. I pick up the cake on the 15th before my party just to see that whoever did the EkG rhythm did awful, so awful! If you do not know how to do a certain design that is in the publix bakery book that you can order by the way, do not do it! I will never order a cake from this bakery again, so unprofessional and do horrible work. I was stuck with an awful looking cake! I placed cake toppers that I bought from Amazon that made the top of the cake look nice, but whichever lady did the EKG rhythms, you should not design cakes and you should be ashamed that you didn't care about the person you were doing the cake for! So everyone Knows, I myself decorated the top of the cake. The EKG Rhythm is what Publix Bakery in Lake placid did and as you can see did a horrible job! During my visits, I purchased pre packaged peanut brittle, fresh baked cinnamon roll ($1.99), hand scooped ice cream (I believe a double scoop was $2.99), an acai bowl ($6.99) and a made fresh to order English muffin sandwich ($3.99). All of the staff was very friendly and didn't dilly dally. Everything was very good. I will definitely be visiting again when I'm in Florida.
