I did see some people inside with a grocery cart, like they were shopping for things they needed for the weekend. They had everything from frozen meals to bagged chips to rows of candy bars and carbonated drinks. My mom needed Band-Aids, and they had an entire section for medicine and health needs. The Band-Aids were a bit expensive, as 5 bandaids were $1.50. Again, this store felt like a glorified convenient store, so I expected that prices would be slightly inflated. Regardless, it provided several options when it came to snacks for the road, as well as not too dirty of restrooms.

After placing my order (I felt like an intrusion) I got my drink and sat while my Albuquerque Turkey was being made. I was the only customer in the restaurant. My sandwich came out in less than 10 minutes, which makes sense since I was the only person there. I saw a staff member exactly once more after I got my food, and that was to give someone a Cinnabon. I must have sat at the table for 15 to 20 minutes and at no time did anyone come out to clean up the several dirty tables or to address the nearly full trash. This wasn't, by any means, the best visit to a Schlotzsky's I've ever had and the service was lacking, but it was a quick stop on my way to somewhere else.
