The best thing I bought was the fudge, you can get a sample box of a bunch of different flavors, and the fudge is really good quality. I will say that they are a machine in terms of getting people in and out. I did not have to wait hardly at all at check out and all the fresh food was being replenished as soon as it was taken by customers. I will try it again next time I am in the area just to see if a calmer day changes my opinion but for right now its just a fun thing to say you stopped at and wasted time looking around.

When I walked up to the counter one employee was obviously done with her shift and heading for the door. She was the only employee visible. After gathering up a few things she departed and then made mention of the fact that I was standing there to staff that wasn't visible. I stood there a good 3 more minutes before anyone came to take my order, making it nearly 5 minutes from the time I reached the counter with no one else in front of me. After placing my order (I felt like an intrusion) I got my drink and sat while my Albuquerque Turkey was being made. I was the only customer in the restaurant. My sandwich came out in less than 10 minutes, which makes sense since I was the only person there. I saw a staff member exactly once more after I got my food, and that was to give someone a Cinnabon. I must have sat at the table for 15 to 20 minutes and at no time did anyone come out to clean up the several dirty tables or to address the nearly full trash. This wasn't, by any means, the best visit to a Schlotzsky's I've ever had and the service was lacking, but it was a quick stop on my way to somewhere else.

Center cut pork chops were available in small packs for $1.99/lb, other less choice cut chops were available for $1.49/lb. If we weren't so spoiled to want to have others cook for us, this is where we'd be stocking up for a dinner in. Picked up Lays wavy ranch chips for $2 for an 8 oz. bag.
