Recently, I arrived 15 minutes after closing, but no biggie. I simply headed back to the car. The new owner/pharmacist (whom I had never met before) spotted me, ran to the door, unlocked it, and asked if he could help me. Though I protested because they were closed, he was very insistent, and proceeded to turn the lights back on, and get my prescription. WHO DOES THAT?!?!? In a culture where people often don't want to do their jobs, and VERY OFTEN makes an especially kindhearted patron like myself feel like an inconvenience rather than an asset, THESE people make me feel VAUED not only as a customer, but VALUED as a PERSON. I have been to this thrift mall - and all the others in Columbus. My impression is, these thrift…read moremalls are loaded with a lot of stuff people don't want to sell. I suspect the prices are so high to cover the rent and realize a profit. Books are so WAY overpriced I can't believe it. For a buck I can load up on brand new books at Dollar Tree - often very good titles and authors. And Goodwill and Valley rescue Mission have great selections. If you're into history, a lot of books from the hoi polloi at Fort Benning end up in these places. Many excellent titles. Granted, for a buck old VHS tapes can be a steal and you can swoop on some excellent titles. Most of the tapes I get still play with no problem. But I never buy DVDs because they usually don't let you open and check for scratches or other defects. Yard sales are a much better option for those predisposed to going 'junking'...

I didn't browse produce or anything like that as I was mainly shopping for some starter home goods (trash bags, hand soap, sponges, toilet paper, paper towels, napkins, night lights, cleaning supplies, broom/dust pan, dish soap, laundry supplies... you get the point) but I'll be in town again soon to do some major grocery shopping and stocking of his new pantry/home.

They are too lazy to go inside the store for the right size and put a small unauthorized one on my truck. Walmart also does false advertising because they claim that you get a free Fram oil filter with their oil change options. However, if you look at your receipt, they give the option price and then charge you for the filter . Yes, my vehicle uses a motorcraft 820S filter or a Fram ph2.
