Store is okay but lines can be long. Also the makeup section is sparse at this location lately. Used to be great.

Exactly. It's generally a dollar, but generally more than a dollar. Go to the real dollar store, the Dollar Tree for your 1 buck junk.

Was at Planet Fitness the other day. Noticed the store for the first time, and decide to check it…read moreout. I live in town, and like to support local businesses as much as possible. The place is basically an indoor flea market, with what appear to be items that "fell off the back of a truck" headed to Dollar Tree. Some other repackaged salvation army donations line the walls and back corner. As I said earlier, I try and support local businesses whenever possible, so I decided to buy something for that sole purpose. Up towards the front, I saw a nick nack skull gas pump thing that caught my attention. Much like a flea market, nothing is marked with a price. The shelf the item was on was maybe 10' from the register, so I picked it up and asked the clerk how much it was. He told me to bring it over to him, I obliged. As soon I handed it to him, him told me that it was broken. I wasn't interested enough in the thing to buy it broken, so when he asked if I still wanted to purchase it, I declined. The next 2 minutes sound straight out of and episode of Curb Your Enthusiasm, but it's too random to fabricate. With no hint of sarcasm, the clerk asked me a second time, if I was going to buy it. I told him, no thanks, since he had literally just pointed out that it was broken. He said, "you broke it, but you're not going to buy it?" Again, no hint of sarcasm. All I could spit out was "what?" He repeated his asinine accusation. I reminded him that he literally watched me pick up the item and make the 10' journey to the register. He said, you must have dropped it. It was literally 10 FEET from the register, a straight line, in plain view. I told him that I would have never even known it was broken had HE not pointed it out. And I probably would have purchased it is the price wasn't ridiculous. Which brings me to the next level of insanity. He said, "since it's broken, $20." If I didn't know any better I would have sworn he was joking. In fact, I laughed and again could only muster up a chuckled "what!?" He asked a finally time, incredulously, "so you're not going to buy it?" Zero irony. I said "why would I buy something that's broken?" He somehow spun it around on me, where he was the bigger person, and threw out a "have a great day." Which I would have taken as a please leave my store, had I not already been standing in the doorway halfway out at the time. I guess it was worth the show, in hindsight. I've gotten some mileage out of that story already. p.s. after telling someone the story, I decided to look the item, brand new, up on Amazon. Remember, he wanted $20 for a broken, unpackaged edition (see attachment)

Much different than my quick "walk-thru" some years back where I was just in and out and wasn't able to leave a real proper review. Lots of little interesting shops, gift stores, clothing vendors, and many other kiosks inside. Again as if my first review, there is a nice nostalgia with me as I remember this place as "North Park Mall" various decades ago. If you are looking for nice gifts, stuffed animals, and cute crafted items for a significant other, there is lots to see here. Many many nice quality stuff animals too at BARGAIN rates. I enjoy walking around in here now 1-2 times a month, and have met some nice people and vendors working there. Overall the cater is towards Hispanics, but I see people of all sorts walking around. Def worth checking out, but you have to give it a few FAIR and thorough walk-a-rounds to let everything seep in.

She lovessssssssss Last Chance! We went yesterday so she can look for a coat. While she was looking for coats, I went to the shoe section. The shoe section is easier to pick through so that's why I went to that section. I actually did find some Sam Edelman Birkenstock sandals, which were beautiful. They were originally $150 but you guys had them on sale for $25. SCORE!!!!! My mom found me a bcbgmaxazria faux shearling coat that was originally almost $400 for $52! Double SCORE!!!! I LOVE a good bargain!!!!! My mom bought a coat and some shoes too that will reduce substantially as well. My mom thought she lost her Nordstrom card so she called Nordstrom so they can put a hold on her account but forgot by the time we were in line, she remembered it. Ebony got customer service on the phone for my mom and my mom was able to unblock her card and get a new card sent! Ebony also thoroughly explained the procedures of when you don't physically have your Nordstrom card to my mom and I. She was very patient kind and extremely helpful!!!!!!!! Ebony gave award winning customer service! You betta work Ebony!!!!!! P.S.... why did you guys reduce your Designer clothes, sunglasses and shoes section??

Overall, if you are patient, get adrenaline rushes for some chaos, you can come out of here with some good designer finds.

There are so many cute items ranging from decor, candy, toys, and activities. They had great household items that range from kitchen, garden, automotive and everything in between. I do wish the snack section was bigger with more variety but there are so many awesome things in this store I will survive. I was happy they had Aloha drinks, pocky, and takoyaki balls!

Second, if you've ever been to an IKEA, it looks completely different than Daiso. No restaurant, no showroom displays, etc. This location is better than the Willowbrook one. It's bigger and has a vast amount of kitchen accessories on the right side. They still have two self checkouts. Prices are cheap to moderate. The staff is friendly. No returns or exchanges, so shop vigilantly.

Maria was in the middle of stocking when she stopped what she was doing to help me search. She checked the back for the first thing. No luck. I showed her a second photo and we both agreed that they usually had it, but since I had not seen it on my search, Maria went looking again, found it under several flats of juice, and then proceeded to move the flats to reach it. I cringed and offered to help. She laughed and told me they would not let me back there because of OSHA. That made me laugh, but it also made me furious on her behalf. Nobody should have to move five flats of juice to retrieve one item because a store's stocking system is chaotic. Maria should not have had to do that much physical labor for a single customer request. She did it anyway. She was patient, funny, kind, and completely unflustered. Then we walked over to the shelf together and of course immediately saw that there was an entire fully stocked section of the Arnold Palmer Lite drink exactly where I had somehow failed to see it. "I am blind! I'm so sorry!" but the two of us laughed so hard. Maria had just excavated one lonely item from under a mountain while I had somehow overlooked at least 50 bottles of it. Yolanda was handling the front of the store while Maria returned to stocking. There were only two people working. I had a cart full of 27 separate items to move onto the belt, so I was not fast. While I was unloading the cart I told Yolanda exactly what Maria had just done for me. Maria could hear from the aisle and kept saying, "It's nothing, it's nothing," while laughing. It was not nothing. Then Yolanda told me that a woman had come in just before me and spent about $400. "Is that a record?" I asked. "No..." Yolanda laughed. "During Christmas they spend more." "But as a non-holiday-related purchase it was a record?" I asked. "No. She buys supplies for homeless families." Yolanda explained. The staff recognizes her, knows what she is doing, and helps her when she comes in. That is the store I walked into: two workers doing the labor of far more than two people, helping customers with patience and humor, recognizing a regular customer who is quietly building a material bridge to families who need help, and making the whole place feel briefly like a functioning piece of civilization. Maria and Yolanda were both extraordinary. Two women building a better world with every breath -- right here from inside this Dollar Tree.
