Just a few of my favorite things, but so many more!

If I could give Glen ellyn Trader Joe's 10 I would! Been coming here for 7-1/2 years. The atmosphere is and always has been so fun! Every person who works here goes out of their way to be helpful and they just make me happy! I feel like they are a second family to me! They check in with me because it's hard to not see me coming when I am there. They don't have to do this but they are above and beyond the greatest customer oriented staff at any grocery store I have ever been to! If you have never been here, get here quickly because you will soon realize how much fun and how many amazing products you have been missing for far too long! Yes Glen Ellyn Trader Joe's has got it goin on!

Purchased 2 containers of Vegan Cream Cheese Alternative on 11/05 with an expiration date of 06/24. When the 1st container was opened the contents were not smooth and appeared dried. When I tried to gather onto my knife to spread it crumbled and broke apart. Opened the 2nd container and found the same thing. Contents were unspreadable and thrown away.

Awesome location with great people. Everyone is super nice at this store. Haven't had a bad experience and I am a regular visitor. It's a great location on Roosevelt Road in Glen Ellyn. Items are always in stock and store is always clean. Highly recommend!

My favorite grocery store with plenty of go to items. Always excited to head over and the workers are generally pleasant to interact with

Chronic Lack of Bagging Support For more than three months, I, along with a host of others I have witnessed, have had to bag our own groceries during visits when the front is overwhelmed by more than 2 lines. There is consistently no one available to assist the cashier, or there is a single person attempting to cover multiple lanes. This isn't an occasional staffing hiccup--it has become the norm. 2. Online Order Shoppers Blocking Aisles Another recurring issue is the number of employees shopping for online orders. Their large gray carts are frequently left in the middle of aisles or in the break in the isles at the end caps causing a serious chokepoint, rather than off to the side, creating obstacles and making it difficult for in‑store customers to navigate. Many times, it feels more like an obstacle course rather than a grocery store. 3. Interaction With Assistant Manager Danny When I asked to speak with a manager to share these concerns, Danny initially acknowledged that the store could do better about calling staff up to the front. However, the conversation quickly shifted in an unhelpful direction. Despite never suggesting that online shopping be eliminated, he repeatedly insisted that "this is the way of things now" and emphasized that online orders weren't going away. My actual point--that in‑store customers should not be inconvenienced by poor cart placement or lack of bagging support--was never meaningfully addressed. When I raised the concern that it seemed like the store prioritized online orders over the customers physically shopping in the store (who often spend more per visit), he offered nothing more than a shrug and a half‑smile. That response made it clear that customer experience and retention were not priorities in this discussion. Bottom Line I've been a long‑time Jewel‑Osco customer, but the combination of ongoing operational issues and the dismissive attitude from management has made shopping here increasingly frustrating. I hope the company takes these concerns seriously, because the current approach is pushing loyal in‑store customers away.

My husband shops there at least three times a week, which says a lot about how much we've relied on it over the years. We genuinely like this store, but lately we've noticed a decline in the quality of the produce. Things like tomatoes appearing shriveled or, at times, even moldy. It's disappointing, especially for a place we trust for everyday shopping. I also attempted to place an order for Easter dinner, something we've done many times in the past. Prices have increased quite a bit, so this year I decided to keep it simple and order just the lamb. The online system didn't allow me to select the date I needed, so I called for help. That's where things became frustrating. I spoke with Chef Jose, and communication was difficult. I asked if he spoke Spanish, since it's my native language and I thought it might help. His response felt dismissive, mentioning he speaks Italian and other things, but the interaction itself came across as borderline rude and unhelpful. That impression was later echoed by the front desk, who suggested I contact another chef. Chef Doug, on the other hand, was the complete opposite. Even though we played a bit of phone tag, he consistently followed up with a helpful and kind attitude, which I truly appreciated. Overall, this is still a market we want to love. It has been part of our routine and community. But between the recent produce issues and inconsistent customer service, it has been a bit disappointing compared to what it once was. I'm hopeful they find their way back to the quality and warmth that made them our favorite local market in the first place. BTW, one must place the order all the way to the paying screen to be able to select the desire pick up date.

Any South Asian knows we need rice or naan to eat dal, but they sold her dal at full price and said they have no rice and instead sold her a full price biryani. $50 order of Indian food and no plain rice or bread! She does know better, but didn't have it in her to make a scene.
