I'll preface this by saying that I do most of my grocery shopping at Jungle Jim's, with frequent…read moretrips to Meijer as well when I need things that aren't food. In both cases, the stores are large and shopping takes time--I know I'm committing an hour, but I'll walk out with everything I need. Grocery Outlet is not that. The store is smaller, and so is the selection--but it isn't boring. There are times when that is exactly the shopping experience I'm in the mood for. In and out, but with the chance to discover some things I wasn't looking for and save some money along the way. I've found good deals here on protein chips, dried fruit, pasta, cheese, milk, salad dressings and sometimes meat. The main issue with Grocery Outlet is you probably can't shop your full list here. You'll probably get through most of it, especially if you aren't particular about brands, but there are specifics you just won't find. For example, there are 1 or 2 brands of all-purpose flour, but no bread flour. As long as you know that going in, it's a fine shopping experience. Bonus points for how kind and friendly the employees are.

They carry some products not found in other stores too! Weekly specials, friendly staff! Locally owned, Much smaller than your large supermarket chains, so you will be quick in/quick out! I highly recommend this store.

I was able to find what I needed. The staff was friendly. The cashier Beth was a tremendous help to me. I did not have my reading glasses and she told me prices of the cards I had picked and also read the inside messages to me. She was not put out and happy to help me. Very well mannered and polite. 5 stars for this DOLLAR GENERAL.

So a few weeks back I took the family over to the Clermont County Fair. While there, our…read morefive-year-old ended up getting a blister on her foot because she was wearing new shoes. So what to do? Thankfully I remembered a dollar store right on the main street of Owensville. It was actually located right next to a field where we have parked in the past so I knew it was just a five or six minute walk from the fairgrounds. I figured I could find something there that would help. So while the wife took the rest of the kids I threw the injured one on top of my shoulders and off we went. It didn't take us long to get there (turned out to be a Dollar General). With child still on my shoulder I walked in and went in search of some socks. I figured wearing socks with new shoes would do the trick. After buying the socks, I stepped outside, stuck the kid on one of the grocery carts that were lined up in front of the store and started putting on the sock. The nice lady then popped out and mentioned that even with socks it might help to have Band-Aids on. Sounded like a great idea so I popped back in and got the Band-Aids while the kid waited outside. Then the nice lady suggested that I might want to consider getting some flips-flops just in case the other two options didn't work out. So, back in the store for a third time. Got everything I needed and it worked out well. Kid was all fixed up and we went back and had a blast at the fair. Now while I didn't have the chance to take a look at the entire store, the nice old lady that helped me out when I had an injured (i.e. whiny) kid was a God-send. Made it that much easier for me. Mahalo, and enjoy.

They have everything you can think of. Garden, home decor, clothes, electronics, small appliances, toiletries, food, rugs, a very nice book selection, and more. I was like a kid in a candy store. I couldn't believe the pricing on some of the stuff. They are name brands at discounted prices. We mainly go there to get bird suet for only $1.29. The store is organized however there are some sections that are cluttered. So it's kinda like Aldi find, once the items are gone, that's it. We left out only spending $29.00. Most items we bought were under $3.00. I even scored a hard back air frying recipe book. They even have a rewards program which you can join for free. I'm a fan!! Definitely worth checking out.

I've been a fan for a few years, and recently I turned my lady on to the place, who instantly became like a kid in a candy store. She loves it now. They have groceries, gardening supplies, auto accessories, a massive section of books ans graphic novels, clothes, carpets and floor decor, beds and bed accessories, tools, "As seen on TV" goods, and LOTS more at epic prices. When they say, "Good stuff cheap", they are NOT lying.

I would suggest if you are getting meals for several people that you call ahead and place your order and when you want to pick it up as it's made fresh and NOT cooked and sitting around under a heat lamp for hours. This is a very old, small hometown grocery store that was recently purchased by a family from…read moreIndia. The new owners have put in a few upgrades to the store and it seems this is just the start. They now have a beer cave and a large expanded selection of craft beers and other alcoholic beverages. Does a small town with with more than 11 places that serve/sell alcohol within a 2 mile radius really need a beer cave and huge alcohol selection? I dont think so but thats the Mayor's fault not Medarys. They also updated the overhead lights to led lights so it is very bright. They have replaced the ice cream coolers as well as added pop/milk/dairy item coolers. The box/can food selection is good but expensive. You do not want to use this store for more than something you ran out of and need it asap! The produce department is terrible. They carry a few heads of lettuce and a couple pieces of fruit that seem to be seasonal. It's not very fresh and disappointing to people who are vegitarians. They do carry a nice banana selection but at 69 cents a pound its pricey. They have a hot/cold deli and a bakery section. Sliced deli meat is on par to a little pricey depending on selection and hardly ever on sale. Cheese is expensive and I havent seen a single sale so far but if you ask for Amish American at $4.99 a pound its a steal and in my opinion its better than Land-O-Lakes. They still have the best donuts in Clermont County! However like everything else they are expensive. About 20-45 cents higher per donut than previous owners. Still worth it! Now for the hot deli. Fried chicken and taters. Still seems to be the same flour/spice breading mixture as in the past. Chicken and potato wedges are amazing when first put in case. As time passes they become greasy, dry and terrible. They do offer an after 9pm special and the ladies will fry it fresh. They do offer cold fresh fried chicken in the open cooler like Kroger does. The non family staff is minimal. The ladies in the deli are all very nice and helpful. They work hard running both hot/cold deli, frying chicken and washing all the pots, pans, trays and things. At night there is only 1 person. The most I've seen even in rush hour is 2 ladies working. The owner and his wife are there always. Their son and another family member also have shifts. They all are nice but I think cultural differences sometimes make them seem rude. What I dislike is that they follow you around as if you are going to steal from them. Plus you are on a huge tv camera system so I dont know why they feel the need to make customers feel uncomfortable. That makes it feel less grocery store more corner bodega. They also sell an assortment of incense and a couple hookah pipes. Really? This is a farm town with country folks. This turns many people away. Overall Medarys has your basics but are very expensive. The employees are friendly and the owner and his family are cordial. The store is kept very clean unlike previous owners. They need to expand their produce with fresh items and limit the bodega gimmick items. It would be nice to see some authentic Indian food in the hot deli.
