Our items were described as "open box, not tested" other items said "new, other" also said "cordless". When we received the item it was corded, not cordless and there was red stickers on each item that clearly said "Defective" which was conveniently left off listing photos. Seems pretty misleading, won't buy anything from auction again.

The new location appears to have more storage for incoming stock, while the sales floor seems to be about the same amount of display space. The layout is more organized, and they have some new display racks and cases. It is a lot easier to look through the clothing and find specific sizes. Cosmetics, toiletries, household items, and cleansers are much more organized on the shelves. On the flip side, I think regular patrons were really hoping for air conditioning. It is highly recommended you go before noon and take a drink with you as it warms up quickly. They do have some fans to move the air, but it's just not enough in the afternoons to keep shoppers comfortable. They still have some great deals, but as other shoppers have mentioned, prices are higher than we were accustomed to. Where we often found adult clothing starting at $3, $5, & $7 with bo/go on $7 and up, now most clothing starts at $15, $20, & up. They also used to offer bo/go on purses, which I haven't seen yet, but maybe I missed it, or they haven't run that special yet. They have a tv screen mounted in a central location that displays any special deals they are running, so check that first before you start shopping. Most cosmetics are $1.50 each, purses $14.99 & up, and jewelry is still buy one for $5 get one free (or 2/$5). They have a lot of baby items, children's clothing, children's toys, housewares, small electronics/appliances, linens, furniture, rugs, shoes, and pet supplies. There is plenty of parking, food truck on site most days, and someone who sells frozen treats outside the warehouse. In order to use a credit card for your purchases, you must have at least $10 in merchandise, so be prepared with cash if spending less than $10. They also award you with $10 in OTG "cash" for every $50 you spend. You can come back the following week and redeem the $10 rewards on Wed or Thurs towards your purchase. Others have mentioned that the management and staff have displayed rude behavior, but I have not experienced that. Workers on the floor have been helpful about obtaining prices if an item is unmarked, helped locate specific items to see if they have it, and the cashiers have been friendly and personable. I had an item I bought that didn't work once I got it home, and I had no trouble returning and exchanging it. The only criticisms I have is that it is difficult to get through with a shopping cart, more big fans might help circulate the air, and they may want to relocate the nail polish bottles over by the jewelry. I have found when checking out, folks park their carts in front of the nail polish display and until they are done, it kind of holds up the rest of the folks who are ready to check out. It would be nice to see clothing prices lowered. They are not as deeply discounted as they were before the move and are more comparable to retail prices creating less of a draw to come shop for clothing. I enjoy stopping into OTG to shop around and will continue to shop here. Always look forward to seeing what's new on the floor and finding some good buys.

Nope, this is a store in a run-down strip mall that specializes in selling close-to or out-of-date items. Looking for fancy shelving and floors so clean you can eat off them? Go elsewhere. It's obvious this has been at least a couple of other stores long before this company showed up. What you get is a neatly stacked store with items that seem to vary depending upon what they get at any given time. Buy when you see it or possibly lose out. Is some of it outdated? You betcha. However, there is a catch with those manufacturer dates - they are made up. I recently discovered there are very little federal or state regulations concerning those dates; however, manufacturers know you'll ditch something out of fear even if the can or product still looks good. Today I found RC sugar-free cola, 12 pack cans, for $2. In case you're wondering, Walmart has them on "sale" for $5.88. Tastes the same but now I can get 36 cans instead of 12. And how about the Clorox misting spray refill at $1? It sells for $6.78 at Walmart. Now I can get nearly 7 for the price of 1. This list goes on. Since I buy only those items in cans or sealed bottles, I can't comment on the meats, bagged crackers and bread; however, if you consume those perishable items quickly you should be okay. In fact, I have a friend who buys his meats here and cooks them on the grill the same day. He loves the place for the cheap pricing. Staff is attentive and friendly, an oddity given the low bucks nature of the store, but don't let the looks of the store bother you. Like I stated, if you're a neat freak, go elsewhere. As you might imagine, they don't take coupons but they do accept credit cards. If you want deals galore, come here and come often!

I have seen Cat and Jack clothes which I know is Target, members mark which is Sam's Club, as well as name brand items that can come from anywhere so you never know what you are going to see. BUT if you see something you like you better snatch it up then as things move quickly. I have walked out with aerogardens for $60 (regular price $120) and today I grabbed a full size tetherball set for the backyard for $100. Books are half off the cover price. I've purchased computer chairs, toys, clothes for adults and kids, shoes, protein shakes, etc etc etc. There is a Facebook page where they post their newest deals but just walking in on the regular will get you some great finds. There was little in the way of computers, two behind the counter priced at $ 830, with no easy way to check out the specs. On several other things that I saw, that I was familiar with prices, nothing seemed like any great bargain to me. This place has no air conditioning and is a big broiler despite the fans, and is very much a warehouse in its presentation. That is ok but I would have expected to see more prices that were noticeably good. So I expect that stock changes , so worth a check if you are in the area, not a destination drive from The Villages.

The grand opening of the 100 million dollar, 624,000 square-foot mall attracted 3,700 people within the first 30 minutes and 22,000 shoppers celebrated the new mall throughout the day. Throughout the ensuing years the mall has faced challenges like the sinkhole that developed beneath a children's play area and a second hole beneath an area of the Sears store in 1998. In 2009, the economic downturn led to then-owner, General Growth Properties, filling for Chapter 11 bankruptcy. It was reportedly the largest real estate bankruptcy in U.S. history at the time. The Sears store closed in late 2016, and JCPenney closed in June 2020, leaving Dillard's as the sole remaining original anchor store. After Covid there were only 40 businesses left in the mall. While the two anchor stores remain vacant, management has managed to increase the number of businesses to over 70. These include Regal 12 Cinema, the Lake Wales Bowl, with Strikes Bar and Grill, and the El Pilón Loko Puerto Rican restaurant adjacent to the food court. There is also a bounce house park play area for $12. While the mall looks like it has been through it I really loved my visit. it felt like a throwback to the 80's. There were some really unique stores and the carousel in the food court was absolutely beautiful. Where some people see a dump, I see a reminder of a simpler time. Don't write this old girl off yet.
