Great service by the Topsy branch in Carson City! Edwin was fast and courteous. The overall process was very easy and straightforward.

Lets put it this way; I'm a long time customer and a "well seasoned" borrower of Loan stores. I have ran into financial difficulties in past, one of which I lost everything and was in transition living in hotels and seeking medical attention and looking for affordable housing. I was forced to move to where the treatments were and lowest rentals were, including during the COVID crisis. It was a double whammy on me physically, mentally, spiritually and yes, financially. And after my devastating losses, including my health due to The Paradise CA Fire, of Nov 8, 2018, Dollar Loan has always been there to help me through these years of coming up short financially. Now hear this truth, some persons are irresponsible and some are really in need. In this case I went back to Dollar Loan, not because I really needed it, but it's the holiday season and I'm splurging because I'm getting a pay raise next month that will cover at least 1/2 of the payment. I figured it out for my budget first. So I can now justify using Dollar Loan for a Christmas loan. They deserve my business because they were so good to me in the past. Now, I would not recommend that anyone should carry out the full one year contract. Know your daily interest and try to stay ahead by making extra payments when you can. I learned this from past, and it gives you additional freed up credit that you can draw from if needed in future. Keep in mind that you can not be charged interest before it is due which is daily in this case. Don't look at all the interest charged on the contract. That's only if you carry it out all the way. When you pay it down more as you can, then you'll owe less. Most other Loan Companies in this area will not give you a long time to pay. Usually only three months. In this case, Dollar loan wins the day by allowing a longer time to pay, therefore the monthly payment is lower. This gives time. Time is everything when paying back. Now you have the opportunity to play catch-up, since you have smaller payments that fit your budget. You get it? Now you have the scoop. The loan process is nearly effortless. Have your income letters or proof available to upload or show them in person and a picture ID. The other info is very little. This store has especially professional and kind persons working at it. They will push to get what you need. Kristina was my loan assistant. So kind and easy to communicate with. Of course we give management credit as well. They are the ones who will ultimately approve or disapprove, the transaction. So dare not hide anything about your credit rating or other possible loans. Worst place to get a loan. Bad customer service that plays loud rap music and took forever to get approved .wont come back here

The service was very helpful and friendly. My issue is that I first applied for a loan about 2 months ago, and given that it was my first time applying and I had only been at my job for a month, the largest amount they could loan me was $200. I declined, as it wasn't enough to even make a difference for what I needed the loan for. So today I went back because payday is a week away and things were a little tight, so I thought the $200 would come in handy, and also help establish better credit. I thought also that all of my info and application would be on file, since I had just gone through the entire process not quite two months ago. Not the case. I had to go through the entire application process again......and after I was done, they informed me the system approved me for $100!!!! And the only explanation they could give me, when I questioned why I was not approved for the initial $200 was that 'the numbers are different now'. I accepted it this time, solely for the purpose of establishing a relationship with them and for starting to establish/rebuild my credit. But it seriously took over an hour to borrow $100.
