Boxes are sealed and can't be opened. Most unlabeled. However, one can bring to a station where employees will open the box for you. Prices change from day to day. Thursday I believe is the cheapest. Consider it a fun thing to do on a rainy day. We spent a couple hours looking at the stuff in the bins. You might find your treasure there. There are strict rules, which they announce over a speaker, don't open packages or boxes or they will ask you to leave. I came home with a teapot, ceramic pie dish, toddlers dress, toddler toys, Halloween decoration, can of Planters peanuts, kitchen sponges, rose hand cream, tablecloth, leather repair kit, pkg of tarps, cleaning products. On the day that I went, each item was three dollars. I think I did good and was satisfied.

I would strongly recommend removing references to the manager's race and statements such as "seemed…read moreon something" or comments about her appearance. Those statements can undermine an otherwise credible review and may cause readers to focus on that language rather than the actual issues you experienced. A stronger review focuses on the conduct, not personal characteristics. I have shopped at this store many times, and while the merchandise can be hit or miss, the prices are generally reasonable. However, I am writing this review because of a deeply disturbing experience involving a manager and the display of adult products. I was shopping with my 5-year-old and 8-year-old sons when one of them picked up what was clearly an adult toy. Several of these items were displayed openly in a bin that was easily accessible to children. As soon as I realized what it was, I took it away and approached the manager politely. I simply mentioned that these products should not be displayed where young children can easily access them, especially during the summer when many families are shopping with children. Instead of addressing my concern, the manager immediately became hostile. She told me that if I did not like it, I could leave the store. When I attempted to calmly explain my concern, she repeatedly interrupted me, stated that she did not have time to talk to me, and told me to leave. She further stated that those products were not being sold from inside the package and that I should simply take my children and leave. She then threatened to call the police, despite the fact that I was calm, respectful, and merely raising what I believed was a legitimate concern regarding child access to adult products. I left because I was with my children and did not want the situation to escalate. However, I was shocked by the manager's behavior. No customer should be treated with such disrespect for politely expressing a concern. What makes this even more troubling is that this was not the first time I had witnessed this particular manager behaving aggressively toward customers. While many employees at this location have been courteous and professional, I previously observed this manager engaged in a heated confrontation with another customer and speaking in an extremely hostile manner. My concern remains the same: adult products should not be displayed in a way that makes them easily accessible to young children in a family-oriented retail environment. Whether customers agree or disagree with that concern, they should be able to express it without being threatened, dismissed, or ordered out of the store. This experience left me disappointed and concerned, not only about the store's product placement decisions but also about the professionalism and conduct of its management. Customers deserve to be treated with respect, especially when raising concerns involving the welfare of children. This version is stronger because it sticks to observable facts, clearly describes the manager's conduct, and keeps the focus on the issues that other customers and corporate management are most likely to take seriously. Please parents be aware of these behavior specially when going there with your kids. Very unlikely I would be able to go there at least for long time or at least this particular woman is long gone or some change of monument again.

There were a few shoppers, but honestly they had more staff than customers. I am hoping that this is a family owned business and everyone is not really on the clock. None of the staff were really working. One was seated in a stool with her mask pulled below her chin and on the phone. Another guy and two females were at the front register just having regular everyday gossip conversation. I did see one staff walking around and making sure items were on hangers. The items in the store are very well organized. When you walk in you will find several rows of brand new t-shirts that are $1.00. I did not see anything that I would be willing to pay a dollar for, but if you need a shirt in a pinch and don't want to spend a ton, it's a good option. I also browsed all of the clothing section. What I noticed is that all of the good items are pulled from the main store and placed in what they call the Boutique. The boutique is basically clothing items that are new or in like new condition and priced significantly higher than the other items in the stores I would compare it to a consignment store. However, there was nothing in this section that I would pay the up charge for. One thing to note is that they do have sales. The day I was in there was a sign indicating that yellow tags were 50% off and what I thought was green was 75% off. As I was checking out I discovered that the green color is actually blue! Am I color blind?? If you are in the are and want to kill some time, I do recommend dropping in. I am a very thrifty shopper and can find the brands they put in the boutique area and charge extra for at thrift store prices. As such, it's not for me. However, that's not to say that you would not appreciate the prices.

Every space is thoughtfully curated, making it easy to envision how pieces will work together instead of trying to imagine them on a crowded showroom floor. The design aesthetic is timeless, neutral, and sophisticated, with plenty of inspiration for anyone who loves modern or transitional interiors. The quality of the furniture and finishes is even more impressive in person, and seeing the materials firsthand makes a huge difference compared to shopping online. What really stands out is the staff. I was promptly greeted and assisted in selecting furniture pieces from the French Contemporary collection. They were knowledgeable, helpful, and quickly ordered wood samples for me, making the entire process seamless and enjoyable. The showroom is also dog-friendly, which is a big plus for me. I'm very excited about the pieces I selected and can't wait to see everything come together in my home. Whether you're furnishing an entire home or simply looking for design inspiration, this showroom is absolutely worth a visit.

I did my research and went here thinking I was going to get a quick bite to eat at the bar but there isn't a bar. There is an area you can purchase coffee and wine at. I walked up to the hostess asking that exact question and she goes "no service there only indoors, no service outside so will you be joining us" is a very sassy remark. I gave her the benefit of the doubt but it was just downhill from there. I sat in the middle of the restaurant waiting to be introduced by a server for over 40 mins. When a server walked over he kindly stated can I help you? Lol yes, I've been sitting here for over 40 mins. I ordered breakfast and there was a hair in my food. I ordered another meal to go and somehow got a steak sandwich but I ordered steak frites. Overall, not a great experience at all especially when there really isn't anything on the menu under $20. Beautiful restaurant however subpar service and subpar food.

This store honestly frustrated me. I go to cause- or benevolent-type thrift stores because I want to support them- in this case, I want to support differently abled adults being trained for work. (I believe this is the org's goal?) This store made it harder for me to spend my money- & I really wanted to! Seemed kinda high end and a bit pricy for a 'thrift store' in my opinion- particularly for women's items and furniture. They had a good range of clothing sizes for women tho. I always hope for a surprise find in thrift stores but this was not going to be one of those places for me-- unless I hoped to spend a few hundred looking for a used designer purse (a la Fendi) or an unusual mini-fridge. I asked about an item in the furniture area & no offer/effort was made to work with me on the (high) ticket price. Usually folks in a cause-related store will work with you because they want to see money generated & they know you're there to support them. Not here/ Got the sense that things are priced & that's that. And when they give you a color tag to look for for a discount of the day, & you don't see any discounted items with that color tag...not fun. (Also guessing that the coveted Matthew location near the Farmers Market is part of the higher prices. But just not as much fun to thrift when a used shirt costs $20.) I did see some kids toys for a range of prices which was nice...but just not a 'thrift' store to me. Maybe I got it wrong?
