Out of nowhere, the store manager decided to loudly ask my child, where he put the cards that were previously in his basket. She bypassed me entirely and chose to question a kid out loud, instantly creating a scene and implying, right in front of other customers that my child was shoplifting. ​I immediately intervened and pointed out that the cards were already right there on the conveyor belt, waiting to be paid for. Instead of apologizing for her massive oversight, she deflected and started making condescending remarks about "not knowing what the hype was" and asking what kids even do with them. ​When my husband rightfully stepped in and asked why she was continuing to press the issue after being proven wrong, she threw a temper tantrum. She completely escalated the situation, canceled our transaction, and told us to leave before she called the police. When I told her to go ahead and call them, since we had done absolutely nothing wrong, she ignored us and refused to do so, knowing she was entirely in the wrong. This woman has absolutely zero management skills and no business working in customer service. To falsely accuse a family, and threaten us in front of our children is unacceptable. We will never spend another dime here, and corporate will absolutely be hearing about this.

After I paid, the cashier questioned the price and removed the item from my bag to check with management. While one manager acknowledged the sale was complete, another suggested I donate more money because I had received a "good deal." This happened in front of other customers and felt uncomfortable and embarrassing. Despite that, I gave the store another chance. On February 16, 2026, I selected several items with clearly marked prices, including shoes labeled $12.99 and other discounted items. At checkout, I was told the prices were incorrect and the store refused to sell the shoes at the marked prices. I ended up purchasing only some clothing and leaving. I understand that pricing mistakes can happen, especially at thrift stores. However, how those situations are handled matters. My concern is less about the error itself and more about the way I was treated when trying to purchase items at the prices displayed. As a nonprofit thrift store that serves the community, I expected clearer pricing policies and more respectful customer service. I hope the store takes steps to improve consistency and communication so future customers don't have similar experiences
