    Greeting cards 2 for $1!
    Tim Tc A.

I'm at this Dollar Tree for one thing and one thing only: Inexpensive greeting card. So here's the deal. Sending greeting cards, birthday cards, sympathy cards, holiday cards, you name it - is a dying art. People just don't make the time for it anymore, which makes me sad. So the Dollar Tree has a whole section of name brand cards many of which are often 2 for $1. That's right, two great cards for just one dollar!!! So for fifty cents and a postage stamp (about a dollar total) you can spread some real love and make someone's day the postal way! I buy a bunch to keep on hand at home, because at 50 cents a card it's very affordable to have a variety ready! Get a book of stamps and you're all set. This dollar tree was a little scattered inside but generally pretty clean. And that card section? Fantastic selection with a ton of cards for various holidays as well as the other standard occasions! I'll def be back.

Eh, for being at Easton, this could be a better location. Not a lot of variety compared to other Dollar Trees unfortunately.

Even though they were only $5, it was worth it to take back to the store - and buy some other stuff! The return process was super quick and simple as the clerk knew what he was doing. So with empty arms I went to check my usual sections - clothes first. Work out clothes or t's or sweats. Today's find was a very colorful simple pair of spandex-like shorts. I had recently bought a plain colored pair and found they fit well. So another pair was worth $5. There were some other cute things I could have used but not in my size. So on to the incense. Their stock of incense was still pretty slim. And they had raised their prices almost double since I was last there. ($2 before and $3.25 now. we're talking within 3 weeks here) So no sale for me thank you very little. On to the books. I didn't spend a whole lot time as I know I don't really read hard cover books and I never seem to use the journal or writing prompts. However, there was a nice bound plain lined paper volume that I could not NOT buy. I have enjoyed several like this for special projects (i.e. yoga teacher training or mastermind series) and I didn't have a blank one on hand. So now I do. $5. Last stop - flavored sunflower seeds. Dollar Tree ($1.25 tree) nevers seem to have the flavored sunflower seeds in stock - except the ranch which is way too salty. So I splurged and got the jalepeno and ranch flavored bags. $2 each. So with those finds in hand, I headed to the register. You ring yourself up which is nice and quick. I learned the first time there that the scanner sensors are super sensitive so I carefully swiped each tag and moved into the bag (to avoid ringing things up more than once). I'm a hard copy receipt person so I got to choose to print one out. Grabbed the receipt and was on my way. I'll probably be back the next time I have something specific I need that they carry. And I know I'll find new products to pick from at that time. Always new inventory but also the basic staples for tech and sporting goods. And almost always a good deal.

It is located Located on the second floor back corner next to the luggage and furniture departments. I love walking through these areas as you never know what they will have. Sometimes it is hit or miss and they have a variety of junk all the way to high end discount items. That is probably not how they market it, but just being honest in my observations. One thing I really like are the lower prices! $$$ I found two belts I liked ($9.99 each) and have found some cool Ralph Lauren Polo socks too. It really is fun to find the deals and in general the price point is well below the traditional store items. Make sure to note that Backstage does have a different the return policy. Macy's Backstage is 30 days and most of the traditional Macy's items has a 90 day policy. The discount store also has its own website at www.macysbackstage.com. If you happen to have a Macy's charge card you can use it here as well. Definitely recommend checking it out as it worth the walkthrough and items are added pretty frequently from what I can tell.

I asked an associate if the check out was downstairs and she directed me to a cashier in this area. My shoes rung up at $20. Score! I will definitely return.

When I was in the outdoor industry and needed new gear, STP was one of the first websites I'd check for gear. Even when my wife was an employee at a competing outdoor retailer (where I got a discount) I was still shopping online at STP. When I found out they were building a brick and mortar store here in Columbus I was beyond thrilled! As it is part of the TJX companies it still means that the store is a gamble when it comes to brands and sizes found. However, it makes a great starting point as you can easily search their site to see if there are other sizes, colors, etc available. Don't have a tiny pocket computer (aka a smart phone)? There's no need to fret! In store they even have a kiosk where you can search their online stock. My only real dislike of the physical store is that as of right now they do not accept the countless coupons that come to my email address. This may change soon as an employee recently told me that they would start honoring them. Until then, I will still order the bulk of my purchases from the website so I can use the frequent STP coupons. With the store so close it's super easy to return to the store with no hassle. This is extremely helpful when ordering shoes online as some outdoor brands use variations of European sizing that allow for greater fit specification. Recently I ordered two pairs of a boot to see if they would work for my job. Having a low volume super narrow foot they did not but, with the painless returns it was no problem. I even lucked out and found the perfect pair in store!
