Two bins of Lego's over $100. I wonder if they ever sell anything at those prices. They do have a "sale" section. But it's a "thrift" store, why would you have a "sale" section.. Well because the prices are so high. I dunno, I don't think we will be back because we have so many real thrift stores around here that are thrift store prices. The people that worked there were nice, but that doesn't help the prices unfortunately.

Testing is cheap and easy I found out.. especially for a store that gets everything for free. Signage about the risk could be another solution, again very cheap. At the very least what I called asking for was a refund and explained why and the guy on the phone was extremely rude and made it clear that he could care less (apparently he is the manager). I will never shop here again because if he cares this little about customers growing a literal human being imagine how he treats his employees!

A fun decor feature is their display of completed Playmobil sets on shelves around the perimeter of the north side of the store -- some of the sets our own grown offspring had as children. We found a few treasures to purchase, including a fun looking 1000 piece puzzle. The store staff were cordial and helpful, even if they were not going out of their way to greet everyone who came through the doors. One big plus for us, after walking around downtown Corvallis for a few hours, is they have public restrooms available! You have to ask for a key at the checkout counter, but the restrooms are very clean and well maintained; and for those with very small children, there are full-sized changing tables. We often find ourselves being sort of "restroom snobs" when it comes to shops and restaurants; but we find the condition of the bathroom is often an accurate indicator of the rest of the facility. Anyway, The Toy Factory is a wonderful little shop, and I highly recommend it.

SO MUCH VARIETY!!! the frozen section is also pretty great if you're vegetarian or vegan! organic frozen veggies, soy ice cream, veggie burgers--what more could you ask for? but to be burtally honest, i think the prices on the amy's frozen cuisine aren't any cheaper than anywhere else. overall, this store keeps it affordable when living your alternative food lifestyle. i'm also enthralled by the beer selction! so many beers! so cheap! you can go with the more than affordable "game day" beers (akin to pbr or naty ice) or live it up with some nice microbrews. the wine selection? meh. i'm realy picky about wine, and think even less of it if it comes with a screw top. compared to the gross out in albany, this one has a way better, bigger, and more varied selection of all different types of foods. the biggest catch about all gross outs is to CHECK THE EXPIRATION DATE. wonder why that dairy creamer is so cheap? it may be about to expire. also, don't buy produce here unless you plan to eat it within a few days. if you find something that you're super duper jazzed about, stock up. the next time you return, it may no longer be there!

The manager was called and he tried to correct the computer but couldn't. So he refused to sell us the product because it was going to take too long to fix the system. He was very rude and disrespectful.
