UNDER NEW OWNERSHIP as of June 2023. It's not just for little kids anymore. The back portion of the store has started to expand with a bigger maternity and tween/teen sized clothes areas as well as adult women and men's. The whole family can shop here. They always have season specific clothes on the racks as well as new items. I love how incredibly well organized the clothes are too. I needed to find a black pair of kids pants for a school concert and no time was wasted finding exactly what I needed. They have furniture too like desks and dressers. This review is just about the kids portion of the store. The best part about the store, in my opinion, is the play area where toys are set aside for your children to play with while you attempt to stop. I haven't found much stuff I like on the rack... Compared to similar Kids consignment stores I think the quality of the clothes is a little lower. I haven't tried selling any of our clothes here yet. One thing to keep in mind... I believe they changed the return policy to be only TWO days after purchase. I find this a little extreme considering I'm not really going to try these clothes on my kid in the store and need a little time to see if it at home. read more

The store has a fun area for kids to play with legos and sells bulk legos at $1/ounce. There is also another small play area with a kitchen set and random toys that have retired past sellability. Other used lego set prices are about on-par with general retail prices. The shoe selection is actually pretty good for a used shop, but prices are maybe a few dollars less than retail. Flip flops were priced at $6, for example. The clothing here is average to worn, few screaming good deals to be had, for example, old navy t-shirts are priced at around $5, so you're not saving much, and in some instances, might actually be paying more than original prices. There is a small section of Halloween costumes, and a wall of used toys for sale, as well. The real catch here is that they advertise all prices are "cash" prices by the cash register. They impose a 3% surcharge on non-cash purchases, e.g. credit and debit purchases (which, is not legal for debit or prepaid credit card purchases, but is imposed, regardless). Nor are we in a state which allows discounts for cash, which isn't how the signage is worded, anyhow. Credit card merchant service fees are truly rough on small business, it's true! Cash flow rules when it comes to maximizing profit in a business with a narrow margin, and perhaps a cash-based society would be better for everyone. That said, we live in a modern century where we have the technology to manage our personal finances in a variety of ways and essentially punishing customers for using a debit card (where you enter your PIN, as I did) seems super awkward. Really fun store and great customer service, would recommend. I got a lot of fairly priced legos and they had great pricing for minifigures. The only downside is that some sealed sets are still in retail and are a bit overpriced but I got a lot of pieces that I needed for one of my sets. Great store overall. read more

I really enjoyed this shop. Tad bit over crowded but I'd like to think of it as cozy ;) Staff was very friendly which makes a huge difference for me, they had good sales which makes all the difference for me :) And i scored some really cute stuff for only 25 cents! Went here yesterday to see if I could find any clothes for my children while I am in town in Albany for work. The quality of the clothes here is very worn and faded. I did not see one item that was gently used, as far as clothing and shoes. The brands are basic, Target and Old Navy type clothing, and should have been donated. I expect this quality at Goodwill, not a resale boutique. Two stars for the nice, attentive woman that worked there. I would have loved to spend at least $100 here but nothing worth buying. read more

It's very hard to get your items back from this resale shop. Don't lose your receipt and be available during the short window of time to get your items back. I was lied to about the status of an item. I was told it was "in the back". Now, when it's too late to get paid or my item back, I was accidentally told the date of sale! Terrible shop. Please don't waste your time or money at this store! Everytime I go in here hoping against all hope that I will walk out with a good deal I leave empty handed and irritated. I expect to find good quality, good selection and good prices when shopping at a second hand children's store, this place fails on all levels. If you see something name brand expect to pay top dollar for it. The store is really is overpriced and the staff are rude and unhelpful. If you want a good deal on used clothes try Once upon a Child in salem, worth the drive or better yet look next door at the OSU Thrift store which is run by volunteers and gives you 75%for consignment versus 40%at mother goose. read more

They have children's and women's clothing and accessories for consignment and for sale. I have had good luck consigning there, and great luck finding jeans for my 8 year old. If he didn't rip the knees out of all of them, i wouldn't get to visit quite so often. Great staff, good location, though the store is a bit crowded with racks. read more

Great prices with a large selection. It also has a place for kids to play while shopping. Could use a place for dad to sit, but still great.

Customer service has improved greatly. Items are still really over priced, especially when goodwill just down the street sells for half the prices and same brands. read more

Went in today while visiting and witnessed a worker/owner snap at a family when their daughter was touching things on a table. She was rude and then making comments towards the family. Even snapped at the mother when she asked about a price. Hints are over priced and shoes where covered in mud. Not happy going here when wanting to support a small shop. Great clothes and can't beat the prices. I'll keep coming back for that. But, the place is consistently so messy! Having worked at a store like this, I know it's hard to keep things tidy.
