Love this place…read more First time I got some furniture from this place was probably back in 1977 or 1978 when my ex-wife moved into out new home. At the time, everyone was recommending this location because of the value and after much shopping and price comparing, ordered a bed room suite from them. Lasted forever Looking for desk and gave them a shot. More than helpful but they were also at the time frame dictated by the supplier. Very helpful and cooperative and some of our neighbors who have recenbly moved her have found them as well and love them. Unfortunately they were not able to meet my immediate need but very helpful. Current owner indicated that we have probably previously dealt with his parents if it was back in the 1970's . I think I still have part of that bedroom suite.

They are also staffed by volunteers. If those aren't reasons to check out this store, the greatest advantage is how neatly everything is organized in racks by size. Some items are steamed for better presentation. They even have several racks of boutique clothing (that is, higher-end brands, like NYDJ, CAbi, Joe's Jeans, and Banana Republic), as well as purses, shoes, activewear, and a few housewares. If you like LuLaRoe, they have a rack of $1 items. Unlike many secondhand stores which have removed their fitting rooms, Amy's Closet has three small ones in the back of the store. Yay! Watch your step exiting, however, as the rooms are surrounded by metal frames, and I tripped a couple of times. Ha ha. I went on a Wednesday, and they were offering boutique items at 25% off, and buy-one-get-one-free for all non-boutique items. I'm not sure if these discounts are offered weekly, or if they are just trying to clear out some inventory. For example, a dressy Banana Republic (boutique) blouse and a pair of NYDJ jeans were priced at $13 each, and some CAbi jeans were $18. I found some non-boutique pants and jeans for $6 each, so their prices are great, if you can find something you like. They take ApplePay, too! Note they have moved a couple of miles north from their previous location (in the Brother's Bagels shopping center). I'd never visited the previous location, but this one is very nice, with plenty of parking. I'll definitely bring my nicer donations to the store, as well as shop for myself in the near future. Sale was by one, get one so that did not work out. The next day, after brunch and all the way up NC 16 Business, I decided to stop at this Walgreens since I had never been in this one before. It's an older one but well organized, great stock and very helpful employees, Got my two boxes and the sale was still on. We've already bought the wine a couple of weeks ago at Total Wine in Huntersville but now in pursuit of some nice Christmas Wine Bags. These are normally readily available this time of year in Dollar Stores. There is one not too far from here but since we were going over to Lincolnton for Lunch at Italiano's , my wife pointed out that we were going to be going past a Dollar General and we could stop there. Neither of us had ever been to this particular store. We stopped in and it appears that Christmas Wine Gift Bags are not out yet but expected in after Halloween. They did have some other nice Christmas Shopping Bags however, so we picked up a couple of those. Store is very nice and well organized, and the store staff is very helpful. Since we are in Lincolnton a couple of times a year, we will definitely be back as it gets closer to Christmas.
