I've never dealt with racism before but I dealt with it today. I watched a Hispanic couple before me return a pair of shoes that have obviously been worn. They look not good. Well they let them return them without even looking at them. Just scan the receipt then. The manager came over and took the money out of the door and gave it to him. But me they looked over the shoes with the fine too comb and then refuse to return them because they said the bottoms were dirty. I forgot to mention I called before I came because I live an hour away. I called to make sure that I can return them and I explained that my son wore them one day and they didn't fit him. They were hurting his feet so I called to make sure that I wouldn't get turned away if I drove an hour to return them and they said no problem. If I was Hispanic they wouldn't even have looked at them but since I wasn't it was a problem. What a horrible store. I won't stop until that manager is fired because it's not right to treat people like that.

Of course, we enjoyed walking through the other sections of the building and I did notice ladies accessory items strewn throughout with a few articles of clothing. While I am always open to change and am sure there must have been a reason for it, I do miss the previous set-up and unfortunately doubtful I will frequent as often. Apparently, both employees were outside having a cigarette break. When they returned from their break, they were very nonchalant, as if it was part of their job. They didn't even apologize for making them wait. They also were not wearing anything that indicated they were Walgreens employees. I realize it's difficult to find good help nowadays, but this is ridiculous. C'mon Walgreens, do better! I may need to start getting familiar with CVS.
