For a Dollar tree this isn't bad. The prices are you know... 1.25 (inflation!). But there is a good selection in terms of variety. I love their greeting cards and decoration section. They also had brand name dental accessories which is a huge plus. They do have a balloon section but good luck finding someone to help you. They had literally one cashier open but in this particular case, the cashier didn't dilly-dally. They actually got the job done at a normal speed! While i continue my journey around new jersey I notice another dollar tree store and I think I can part with a 20 dollar bill and some loose change in my pocket which means 20 pieces of junk that may come in handy . As soon as I walked in I will see if I will grab a cart and roam around or make a uturn for the exit . Ok place is not ghetto, its not a major mess, the checkout is organized and orderly which means its time to roam around and grab 20 items . Ok cool they have dial liquid hand soap, candles, brillo pads, crossword puzzle books, Reynolds wrap, glad plastic bags , etc. After slacking off for about 17 minutes I filled my quota of 20 items and now its time get on the short line and have the pretty dame ring me up . Overall not a bad dollar tree and its not a nightmare like the dollar tree stores in the bronx. read more

Always have fun browsing through the wide selection of items here. Picked up some Christmas stuff (wrapping paper, gift bags, etc) along with some household items all for $1 each. Probably got about 33 items as our bill came out to be $33+. read more

I swing by on my lunch break to get little knick knacks etc.. This place has stuff you can't find at large retail stores and the people are super nice! Tip FYI this is a great place to get gift bags as well. YES EVERYTHING IS $1 OR UNDER. 5 stars because really you cant beat 1 dollar seriously people who would complain about that lol read more

I just can't with this place. The people working here appear to be the stupidest people and moreover have no clue how to have good customer service, only stank attitude. I bought some poster board today and one small item I was specific that I didn't want it in a plastic bag, just hand it to me (I'm an environmentalist) she shoves, yes shoves it it in there anyways. I told her just hand it to me use the bag for some one else. This idiot says "I'm just gonna throw it in the garbage" in a very rude tone of voice, and she does exactly that. I tell her if you're gonna throw it out and pollute the planet and waste plastic you might as well give it to me! That's the whole point of me opting out of a plastic bag. She ignores me on purpose so I repeat myself trying to get the plastic bag she threw out. This idiot woman with her stank attitude just grabs a BRAND NEW bag and throws it toward me, I just say forget it and walk out pissed off. I haven't been this pissed off for a while. This dollar tree really needs to update their employees on good customer service and how to treat their customers with respect. The two stars only cause they have decent, sometimes nice stuff for a dollar. Other then that I'm not that desperate to come here, I could get my stuff elsewhere. read more

The store environment may leave a lot to be desired but who goes to Dollar Tree for the environment? Dollar Tree has amazing deals on everyday items (from milk to candy to toiletries to kitchen supplies to school supplies) and a great selection of seasonal/holiday items. Staff is incredibly friendly despite being asked to do a lot from stocking shelves to working the registers. There are always new items to provide frequent customers with a reason to browse the aisles. Online ordering and in-store pickup was a relatively smooth process. This location is a little smaller than other Dollar Tree stores so the selection may be slightly less. I recommend any price sensitive person to shop at Dollar Tree for a variety of household goods and dry goods. read more

I called to place a large balloon order. I was told that I had to speak with the manager Danny. He was really rude and seemed really upset that I was bothering him. When I asked what types of balloons he had in stock he told me that I'd have to come in and look. I explained to him that I was calling from Manhattan and asked if they had the selection on the web he said no. I asked him if there was any way he could email or text me a photo and he said asked if I was kidding and hung up on me. read more

My favorite place to go if I'm looking for cheaper alternatives than the actual price at other stores. The staff is great but minimal. They should open more lines with more cashiers. The manager or assistant manager seems to hover at times so the negative one star is actually towards the management. Other than that, I never left the store empty handed and you can find EVERYTHING here. Hope this location stays here for a very long time. Fort Lee really needed a dollar store like this one.
