Never seen anyone else working there but whatever. I call and ask if they have a specific magic trick. The guy says they have it, so I drive on over. When I get there, he can't find it so he passes me a "similar" trick and says it's better. I decide to trust the guy and buy a couple more things. I try working the trick at home and realize it's super angle sensitive and the written instructions didn't help much. I decide to go back and get the Instructional DVD. I go back in and the guy spends half an hour with this other guy without asking if I need help. The other guy says to the owner that he can go ahead and assist the other gentleman. (Me) and the owner makes some offhand comment "oh he's not a gentleman" and proceeds to make other lame crappy jokes. Once he's finally done and tries to help me find the dvd, he can't find it, even though it's listed on their site. So I tell him how the written instructions aren't helpful. He basically tells me to go look online (which I've already done). There's nowhere else I could find it. So I ask about their return policy. "There isn't any" he says. Well I wish I knew that before I trusted this guy. So I'm about to leave and suddenly the guy finds it. I'm glad I didn't go there for nothing but then-- Here's the kicker. The guy decides to ILLEGALLY rip the DVD. He opens up the plastic, takes out the DVD and proceeds to rip it. I'm thinking-- how can this guy do that? Once it's done he gives me the DVD back and proceeds to play his ripped copy and walks to the back. So after all this I'm kind of annoyed and want to leave so I walk to the back and tell him I have to get going. He prices me out and I ask if he can give me a break on the price, since he now has a copy. This guy gets pissed off, snatched it out of my hand and says "Nah you don't need it" and puts it back. Well I'm not trying to waste an hour and a half so I tell him fine, I'll still buy it at full price. Which is ridiculous because he literally opened the packaging of the DVD and illegally ripped it. I purchase it and leave. This guy is shady and kind of a major jerk. I'm glad I didn't spend a ton of money here. Which I would have done in the future if he wasn't so rude. Not coming back. Save yourself some time and money and go elsewhere. Magic Inc is much better and so are some online sites.

I went to this jewelry store because I got a new solitaire enhancer for my wedding ring from my…read morehusband..it was a split shank ring it had two little sticks on the sides holding the ring top and bottom part together. The problem was that these sticks prevented my engagement ring from sliding in.. it only went in half way. I went there and asked the woman if they could sized my ring up 1/2 size so that my solitaire could slide right in. She suggested instead to cut off the side sticks to make it two pieced. Therefore I can stack my rings together. I told her not to Sauter my rings just take them apart. I left my ring and the next day I went to pick it up. . The woman told me that she and the jeweler made the decision to cut the sides and resauter it to fit my Vera Wang solitaire which I also left there for refrence.. the solitaire ring finally fit into the split shank enhancer. and then I realized that the two rings they re satered together without my consent . We're crooked. The split shank ring has a design on top and bottom it's supposed to align perfectly around my solitaire.. so basically they took it apart and put it back together crooked...I told the lady that it wasn't straight. She said that it wasn't possible to make the perfectly aligned. Are you kidding me? My husband was so pissed.. I asked them to fix it.. so she makes a phone call to the jeweler and then says .. we will just give you your money back.. I said yes please do. And then she goes on to say .. well leave your ring and we'll put it back the way it was.... I was so pissed.. I said no! You're not going to do any more work to my ring... you couldn't put it together correctly because according to you.. it's not possible so how to are you gonna put it to its original state? ?? I said I you're not doing anything else to my ring give me my ring back and give me my money back.. then her son comes out and he states obviously that the ring looks crooked .. one piece is to the left and one to the right. He's apologizing and she's explaining trying to justify the horrible work making it sound like the jeweler did extra hard work to Sauter it again together... like they did me a favor. I told the son.. hey .. I specifically told them not to Sauter it.. THEY MADE THAT DECISION.. had they satered it and it was aligned correctly ... I would have said thankyou for the favor.. but CMON now I have a crooked wedding ring and can't adjust or take it appart. Jewelry stores do this kind of work every day. The ring came in aligned so how are you going to tell me it can't never be 100% aligned.. I did get my money back.. and she was like take it somewhere else and I hope you can get it fixed the way you like... hmm how about aligned!!! It's not that complex... now I have to have further work done on my ring... this is the worst experience ever.. We showed up at 12:05, only to find an empty store with a sign stating "We open at 12." Hmm. We decided we'd give them the benefit of the doubt, so we sat in the car and waited as this was the closest jewelry store in the area. When the owner FINALLY showed up, it was already 12:30, and she came to work dressed in a mini-skirt, tank top, and with curlers in her hair. Mind you, it was November. My friend and I exchanged a worried look but decided to go in nonetheless, only to find that the owner had to buzz us in to the store after she determined that we didn't look suspicious. Already feeling a bit strange, we walked into a jewelry store that was literally a bullet-proof glass, fenced-in prison-looking "sales floor," and the owner had to peek out through a tiny little window to speak to us and get the ring. I was already feeling a little hesitant when the woman asked a question in Spanish, wondering what was wrong with the ring. My friend is Hispanic and I am white, but we both studied Spanish in school and spoke the language fluently. I replied that the stone was a bit loose in Spanish, and she completely ignored me, asking the question again, this time more obviously pointing it at my Hispanic friend. She continued to ignore me and my attempts to communicate with her the entire time, only acknowledging me once when she told me the price to fix the ring. Really? What type of disrespect is that? She even went so far as to inform me that my wedding ring was not "a quality diamond" like hers was. I cannot believe this place is still in business with their horrible work ethic and customer service. The ONLY reason I let her fix my ring is because I wanted to keep my business local, but the next time I need to visit a jewelry store, I will DEFINITELY be making the drive to somewhere more professional.

Come to my surprise, JO was part of the albertson family. The pharmacist at the counter was very helpful and was able to look me up and give me an emergency supply of medicine. So happy with this service and never felt more grateful. I also took a look around the store to see what was different from my local Vons/albertsons. I think I like how Jewel Osco is because the have different variety of ready food to food and desserts. I wish they opened one in San Diego!
