There were also multiple people in the store at least 5+ people also shopping and after we told her we were told different from the front end assistant she proceeded to scoff and role her eyes and stomp back to the back like a child throwing a tantrum almost . I'm a department manager as well at a much larger store and that is no way to treat customers that are in the store before closed.

Staff are always nice but there has never been more than 2 registers open at a time and most of the time it's just one. They have a huge selection of books....all kinds including children's books. I buy for my kids here all the time. It's just hard to find if you are looking for something specific. They keep up with items from the current season which is nice. Some prices are better than other stores bur some are not. If you sign up to be a member you get emails about current items, discounts on your order and invitations to special events. You don't want to see pictures....it's not pretty but is worth the trip if you have time to look around.

All through my visit, the manager was asking if I wanted a…read morebasket (no thanks, it just means I'll buy more things I don't need), and then told me a little bit about some of the things at which I was looking (plastic containers), and then that he'd be getting new things in next week, explaining how he tries to get a little of everything that people might need. After looking around, I think they've done it. For essentials and things you didn't know you needed until you see it here, this place has got it covered. The name of this store sums it up -- a lot of dollar items and dollar or more-plus things, but none were over-priced compared to comparable places. The last thing asked as I left the store was if I was looking for anything in particular, because he'd order it. Everyone who came in was offered a basket for shopping and if they needed it, assistance in finding something. If it wasn't here, he said he'd order it and for that person to come back next week. Who has customer service like that anymore? and in a 99c+ store? Three stars, but I have to throw in another one for the customer service.
