Plant health is usually pretty good overall, but I have still come across plants that were not especially healthy despite commanding top-tier prices, which is disappointing at those price points. The staff knowledge also feels fairly average overall. I once had an employee confidently tell me that Red Maples do not grow well near intermittent creeks, which was surprising considering Red Maples are commonly found in wet areas throughout much of the Southeast and are even nicknamed "swamp maple." Their Japanese Maples are also definitely overpriced considering you can get similarly sized specimens locally for much less, including at places like Get Rooted, which also has an excellent selection. Overall, the nursery is still worth visiting because the selection really is broad and varied. I just wish the pricing better reflected the average level of expertise and occasional inconsistencies in plant quality.

I have been to several garden shops in the area and this is the most expensive. Even their discounted items are still pricy. I ended up not buying anything and visiting a different garden shop. I was able to find most of what I needed here and more but they were not worth the price. I do like how organized the shop is. Having so many plants can't be easy to keep organized and healthy. I like how things are labelled and their large selection. Discount sections are nice and so is the free parking. The center was easy to locate and park. I was surprised to find an expansive garden shop in downtown Raleigh. Overall, we enjoyed walking through the shop, but found the prices too expensive.

We explored other flooring companies as well but didn't get the same customer service that we got from Damen and LL Flooring. There were a lot of phone calls, additional visits to the Garner and Raleigh store. Damen suggested Bellawood Pealescent, I bought a box of it, knowing I could return it if I didn't like it, laid it on the floor and that was it! Working with LL Flooring was easy, everything came in on time. The installation guys were amazing, hardworking, cleaned up after the 4 day installation. Yes it was long and tiring but so worth it! If you go into the Garner store, ask for Damen!
