They have a huge candy selection & most of it is over priced as you can get it elsewhere cheaper. I did find a couple of things to put in my Vegas bestie's Easter basket. I was also glad that I just happened to bring in my own bag because they no longer give your bags for your items. They have removed all the plastic bags @ the self checkouts & have ones that you can purchase. Not sure if they had a sign on their front door letting customers know this??? We are also huge AFOLs - Adult Fans Of Lego. So we needed some of the plastic containers we can only find at Daiso to store and sort our bulk Lego purchases from our trip. We love that the stores have mostly converted to self-checkouts. We usually get a plastic storage container or two and then put the other purchases inside them. This store was about 15 minutes from my dad's house and was clean, well-stocked, and had a friendly staff. We will definitely return on our next trip to the area. If you have never been to one you should give them a try. Best way to describe them is an Asian Dollar Store/Five Below. Some pricier items but overall great values.

This particular Homegoods is located in one of the many shopping centers on this main strip in Henderson. Inside is all kinds of edible things, nick nacks, glassware, plates, decoration items, holiday goods, furniture, linens, towels, tablecloths, pet toys, pet treats, and MORE! Near the entrance I saw a fun llama bench and some decorative giant toadstools or mushrooms. They had at least three rows of edible things. I found the pink Himalayan Sea Salt Chunks I was looking for. I also saw very expensive imported boxes of chocolates. (one box was $60.) They had so many chocolates and lots of fun different snacks I never saw anywhere else. I also enjoyed looking at all the fun decor. Checking out was easy and efficient. This is the closest HomeGoods to me and I was looking for two things: A paper towel holder, and a hook to hang a kitchen towel on a cabinet. I came up empty on both fronts. While the store easily had 100 cutting boards, they had exactly one paper towel holder and it wasn't what I was looking for. There was a staff person in the area, but she focused solely on stocking the already overflowing shelves instead of assisting anyone. I did find some salt and pepper grinders, so it wasn't a total waste, but it's mind-boggling that a store with "home" in the title doesn't really carry paper towel holders.

At checkout, the sales associate was very pushy about getting me to apply for the Marshalls/TJX credit card so I could get 10% off, even though I repeatedly showed that I was unwilling and hesitant to do it. I specifically told her that I am currently getting a loan for a car and that I absolutely could not afford to have a hard inquiry on my credit right now. I made that concern very clear to her, and she flat out told me, "It's a soft pull." I also told her that my credit isn't great and that I probably wouldn't even get approved. She told me that was okay and said I would still get the 10% discount anyway. Despite my reluctance, she kept pushing the application, and based on her reassurance that it was only a soft pull, I finally gave in and applied. Well, I wasn't approved, I didn't get the 10% discount, and when I got home I discovered that I DID get a hard inquiry on my credit. So yes, my sucker ass fell for all of this over a little discount. I should have trusted my instincts and just said no. Lesson learned -- I will never fall for this again. What really bothers me is that I specifically explained why I could not have a hard inquiry. I told her I was getting a car loan and could not risk another inquiry. Had she told me the truth that applying could result in a hard pull, I would never have agreed to submit the application. Employees should not be pressuring reluctant customers into applying for credit while giving them inaccurate information about how the application will affect their credit. I will be contacting Marshalls/TJX corporate and the credit card issuer regarding this incident, and I also plan to look into reporting it to the appropriate consumer protection agencies. This type of sales tactic is completely unacceptable.

TJ Maxx offered clothes, body products, makeup, home goods, snacks, and more. The downfall was the customer service. Going to the perfume area, a separate customer and I got the same perfume bottle coincidentally at the same time. I observed that the customer opened the box to sample and smell it, which required several pumps of spray. One of the staff members asked for our names and indicated that the perfume bottle would be available at the front counter. When finishing the shopping trip, the staff member left me the perfume box that the other customer used and took the new box that was supposed to be for me. The perfume box provided to me at the counter was slightly tampered with. Even with this situation, only an apology was given with no sort of accountability. No intervention was offered, not even a discount. Overall, this TJ Maxx was nice and well-stocked. However, the overall customer service did not meet expectations as anticipated.
