This store is located near Bass Pro in Vegas. They had some neat things but it was priced at like 5.99, 16.99, etc you get the point. The merchandise for sale ends in .99. They had some pretty neat Mexican candy for sale, water, holiday decor and wear, and I love their pink shopping baskets. read more

I love this store! A little deceiving at first as they are named 99 cents only store but everything is $1.25 and up. Be careful when selecting items as they are NOT .99 cents neither is everything in store - there are different prices so be mindful of that. Coming from hawaii, you can appreciate these stores even if it isn't .99 cents and it's now $1.25 - there are still 100s of bargains and things u can get for that cheap anywhere else! I'm sure I'm not the only person who goes into a dollar store and comes out dropping an easy $100 lol I spend money but I come out with a lot of items and GOOD items too! As usual I suck at taking pictures cause I'm always too excited to play with my new stuff but I did take SOME pics hehe. Had a cashier almost hit me in the face with a lit cigarette butt that she threw as she was walking back in to get on the register. As she turned to walk in front of me I noticed she had dried diarrhea on her pants from butt to knees. Then she walked in and got right on a register. Did not wash her hands after smoking, and had an apron on so no one in line would notice her pants. You may want to be careful buying food here as this woman has probably touched lots of food while on that check out. I was only buying some cleaners for my work but even then I wouldn't get in her line. I'm certain the managers were aware of this situation and just let her continue to work. The health dept should probably check out this location for violations. read more

If you need something quick and you don't want to hit up a Target or Wal Mart, this is the place to be. Price, value, selection- nobody even comes close. I grabbed some gum, a soda and some jerky for my flight. It is easy to get to and the staff are super friendly and welcoming. I'll be back for sure if visiting town. read more

Ok, I must be late to the game here..... who knew the 99 Cent store had a whole food section? We aren't talking off brand either. These are name brand foods. They also have a dairy section, frozen foods, fresh vegetables and fruit. They also have a small selection of alcohol such as wine. Although it's not .99 cents, it's cheaper than the liquor store. They have plenty of other items to choose from as well. Everything from beauty, dishes, candy, decorations, animal products, holiday items and so much more. This store is easy to get in and out of. ACTUAL STARS: 4.5 Stars If I'm not mistaken, I believe this is my third review of Blue Diamond 99 Cents Only Store in only the last few months. Usually, I wouldn't write this many reviews, but I like passing along positive things I see to Yelp readers. Yesterday, I followed my wife into this store as I usually do. I don't walk around with her since she's the shopper and knows best about produce, which she says is the best deal in town at this store when the vegetables and fruits are well-stocked in the morning hours. They also have the only "light" coffee cream I've ever seen. I mill about in the front of the store or the parking lot. But today, standing at the store entrance, I noticed how well stocked and clean this store appeared. I also didn't recognize the cashiers and young women who seemed to be the manager or in-charge. It seems that she (the manager) has turned things around and gotten the cashiers to be friendlier and more personable with customers. The store is also cleaner, seemingly brighter, and merchandised better than I remember exactly one month ago to the day. I say props for her or whoever is taking charge of this store and doing such an excellent job of merchandising and training the employees, who seem happier and more pleasant towards customers. You just cannot go wrong with these prices! This budget friendly store has come in so handy on several occasions for me. Many might think that because it's a "dollar store" that all oof their products are inferior quality. However, I've come across some really great name brand items for only $0.99 that I couldn't find cheaper even at a WalMart. Even better, sometimes you can find real small sized items of things that maybe you've wanted to try, but haven't wanted to purchase a full size in fear of not liking it. The store is always clean and well organized. The employees aren't "unfriendly," but aren't the most enthusiastic either. My only dislike would be that sometimes they have a very long line with only one or two registers open. read more

This is one of the best locations! I love that they have a great selection of food. I always check out the produce (bagged salad, bagged carrots, fruit, grapes, bananas, mini peppers), the bread (sometimes you get lucky), and the rest of the food aisles. It always smells like garlic. It's popular, so expect lots of customers (I think the majority that shop here are tourists since the Silverton is closeby). You can tell by the parking lot (this would probably be the only down side, it is dirty, sometimes people just dump their trash on the ground). I prefer this store to Dollar Tree when it comes to food items. If the item is not 99 cents, it will have a different price label on it, usually yellow and black. The aisles are a bit tight, especially near the refrigerated section in between the end caps of the aisles. Just park the cart in an aisle, off to the side, so other people can still pass. Grab the goods, and head off. Checkout lines are also a bit long. I don't mind it, if I made the trip worthwhile (I found everything I was looking for). The clerks are nice. read more

I don't know why there's such a stigma about coming here. The 99 cents store has come up a long way. This location is clean and in a nice area. I don't have to worry about any homeless people barraging me for money. The employees are actually nice here, shocking but true. And of course they have a ton of merchandise for 99 cents. But they also carry items that are priced higher. My most recent trip I stopped in to get cheap Halloween decorations. I was able to find Minnie Mouse ears for my daughter's Halloween costume as well. They carry name brand items too. I was able to find Reynolds Wrap foil, Super Glue and Purell to name a few. I did happen to see $3.99 Disney coloring sets, which would make for cheap Xmas gifts. I'm all about saving some $, so I'll definitely be back in to shop. read more

DON'T BE FOOLED THIS IS NOT A .99 STORE!! There are some things that are sold for .99 but most items are much more. If you are familiar with Aldi's it's very similar. A bunch of junk and possibly a lower grade of food such as fruits and vegetables. This is not the type of store I would take children to as they would beg for a bunch of cheap and unnecessary junk! There are something's that are $1.00 but it's the items you find in a Dollar Store. So to keep down the confusion regarding prices it may be simply better to go to a dollar store. This a great place to go before your regular grocery stop for the week. The thing about these places are that every item is not available every week. So I will fish out the bargains here and whatever I didn't get here, I can then snag at Smiths or Albertsons or (ugh) WalMart. Just a few things snagged today.. - Pee Pads for the puppy. $5 at Petsmart. 99 Cents here. - Goldfish crackers(dual flavors, cheddar/pretzel) only 99 Cents each (go figure :P) - Diet Pepsi 2 liters, 99 Cents - Nilla Wafers, large box. 99 Cents I tend to stay away from produce and perishables here. Sometimes things look kind of shaky in those areas. lol Otherwise, you can snag some truly worthwhile items here and save money. Who doesn't like to get the most out of their dollar?? I know I do. You can find bags of zucchini, squash, cucumbers, lettuce jalapenos, spinach, herbs, bananas, blueberries for $.99; or a bag of 5 avocados for $1.99. Produce changes weekly but this place generally has your standard items. Just make sure you examine, as some are being sold due to over abundance and may be to the point of expiration. This place is also great for seasonal items, parties and just random stuff! I like this store in particular, its conveniently located to me, and is newly built so its not so run down. So let me start by saying I may be out of touch and late to the game of .99 cent stores...... So with that being said I had the most amazing time inside this .99 store and was completely blown away by the product selection. I just had to stop in because I needed a couple cans of chili and they were on my way to the destination and when I walked in boy was I surprised. This store had summer toys, fresh produce , pringles, potatoes, milk, m&m's, 24 pk water, rockstar energy drinks, Pepsi , and tons of other name brand stuff oh my. I almost feel like dorthy and the wizard of oz lol. I can't figure out why people go to regular grocery stores when this place has everything and it's a whole lot cheaper.... or maybe this is just a mans perspective. Anyway I ended up with a basket full of stuff because of the overwhelming amount of choices and even found some name brand nilla wafers for .99 and these things are usually $3-4 dollars in a regular grocery store. I will definitely be back to pick up some easy and fast essentials as well as cruise the aisle for some cheap snacks and maybe a few healthy ones too. Only reason it wasn't a 5 is because customer service was hard to come by but I would still recommend everyone to take a visit. I am in Vegas for work for 5 days and stopped here to pick up pain cream for my injured wrist. $1.29 for a normal size of pain cream compared to $7-$8 at a regular drug store and it works the same (Bengay smell and all)! It's very large and plenty of parking. Everything is arranged neatly and clean. I saw French onion dip in the refrigerator (if I lived here, I probably would have bought several containers). I also bought two small bottles of Fiji water (again, in a normal grocery store, it would be twice the price). The gentleman (I didn't catch his name but I know he has a cat, Caucasian and probably between 50-60 years old) rang me up and was so friendly, down to earth and sweet. His personality was so infectious and I really appreciated it - I hope the manager recognizes what a great employee he is and models all of his employees against him. FINALLY! A 99 cents store on the SW side! I'm only slightly embarrassed to admit how much I truly love the 99 cents store. It's honestly one of the things I missed most when I moved to Portland last year. Granted this one is brand spanking new, but its clean and well organized. Large produce and freezer section w a great selection - I picked up baby asparagus, butter lettuce, baby bellas and romaine hearts all for 99.9¢ As always I did end up w a grip of stuff I didn't even know I wanted, but its so cheap so who cares. This is one of the better .99 only stores as they always have name brand groceries and lots of it. Every payday we shop to our hearts content here as far as groceries and produce and to see what name brand foods and items they have in stock that day. Then we hit up the large grocery stores for stuff not found at the .99 store. Today, the Cashier was super fast checking us out, I love that. My granddaughter and her other grandmother were harassed today by a family that was not social distancing in the store. I am livid at this and the fact that the cashier sided with the family that taunted my granddaughter. The other family came right up to my granddaughter looking at what they bought and not keeping distance. When my granddaughter & her grandmother asked them to please keep their distance, the harassment began. Thank you to the store manager who did intervene and immediately took action at the situation. The family called my granddaughter them a "Karen" when it was THEM that were not obeying the rules. Not too bright! What's worse is they had 3 kids and the parents were showing and encouraging them to engage in this type of behavior. Please don't be donkeys like that family. read more

This is a nice, brand new store that's literally across the street from a Dollar Tree. If you love dollar stores, this is the place to be! Since the store is still new, it's very well organized, neat and well stocked. I find that this location carries more variety and has a better inventory than some of the others in town. There's a nice produce section (watch out for rotten stuff, it's a challenge here) and you can sometimes find a great one-time-only score on some sort of closeout deal (my latest score was full sized bottles of Banana Boat sunscreen for 99 cents each)! Plenty of parking in the lot out front. I love dollar stores because I can stroll in with a $20 bill and feel like a millionaire. read more

Omg I love this store! This is now conveniently located in my neighborhood. They built this place so quickly. Just like my other 99 cent store review this place can be somewhat dangerous...for your wallet. I get scoldings from Jesse N because I can be in this store for a very long time. I go up and down the aisles to see what they have here. They don't always carry the same items over and over, so I get obsessed and overstock (if it doesn't have a shelf life). You can believe I fill my cart up with items. I sometimes find myself saying at others stores when i see an item more than than $1.50, "oh I can get that at the 99 cent store" It's a brand new store so it's beautifully displayed. I like to go here because they have produce, yup at 99 cents. You can get 18ct of eggs for $1.99. Yogurt, brand names too, they got it. Need dryer sheets, they got that. I was there at the 99 Cents store on blue diamond at 5:30 PM on dec4thand my cashiers name was Natalie. I was putting my items up on the conveyor belt and she gave me a look. I just assumed because I was putting my stuff up so fast ,maybe I was agitating her. So I apologized.I said "ohhh excuse me;I'm sorry .I asked her a question for item I tried to hand her a 75% off a harvest item to scan. she scanned it with a gun. As I was handing it to her..she wouldn't take it.I was handing it to her and she wouldn't take it. So I said OK maybe this is how she does it. Then I tried to hand her three bags of bath beads. she wouldn't take it she hit it with the gun scanner then said; put it back in your cart. So I was like,OK maybe this is how she do things .no one was behind me at the time. So I can't tell you why she was so rude short and snippy with me. Arm after she gave me my total. I gave her $100 bill and she two fingered it. Then she proceeded to put my change in my receipt on the counter. I thought that was rude myself. The whole interaction was rude. I don't know if she was having a bad day but I will never go back to that location they never really stocked anyway. that was my third time at that store location. read more

I think 99 cent stores serve their purpose.. offering a wide variety of items- for 99 cents- you know that the items are more than likely off brands and are not as of high as quality as items you may find at other stores like Wal-mart or Target. You may only go in with a few items on your list, but you will more than likely leave with a basket full of things you didn't think you needed and feel you can't live without. I come here mainly for bargain deals for my classroom. I know that most of the items are not made of the highest quality, but I can usually get a large amount of the same item. I was happy to see they have a produce section. I was surprised to see they have an intimate clothing section- never know when you may need a pair of undies and you don't have the time or cash to head to Victoria's Secret. This location is fairly new. The staff was friendly and polite. The store was well stocked and clean. The long lines of customers moved quickly. read more

I usually go to the 99 cent store off of Eastern, but since I was in the area, I decided to go here to finish off my errands. This is a newer 99 cent store that opened not that long ago and you can tell. It's so clean inside, not to mention huge compared to the other location off of Eastern. I also really like the fact that the parking lot isn't shared by a lot of other businesses in the area, so you don't have to fight for parking space in a cramped section. Because the store is bigger, that means there is a larger selection of items, including fresh vegetables. The cashier was polite and quickly got me out of the store which I like. I frequent this store for fruits & veggies & always find something special that's a "today only" kind of item. Can't give them 5 stars because so many items are now more than $1 but still are displayed on the rack above a $.99 price. Keep your eyes open at the cash register. This location is large & clean. Items I've found recently & snapped up: Full size packages of Oreos, imported cookies, Philadelphia flavored cream cheese, brand name sliced honey turkey, Birds Eye gourmet vegetable dishes. Regular items include French fried salad onions, all sorts of chips & munchies, & many fruits & veggies. I often have a watermelon (one dollar of course) in the house just waiting to be blended into juice. On a good day in summer I'll find a bag of cherries for a dollar. read more

When you go to regular grocery store to the frozen fruit section they are going to have 6 ounce bags for anywhere between $4-6. Here I can buy bags of strawberries and other fruits for $1- I drink tons of smoothies every single day so this is a big deal for me. My favorite thing about the store is the fact that they have some groceries. Some items are way cheaper than what you would get at a regular grocery store including avocados! This is My "Go To" Place for any Necessities that I May Need.. This place has Almost Anything that you may need...Albeit, most of the items in here are Generic, but they are Pretty Darn Close to the Real Thing. They do have a Few items in here that are More than 99 Cents, such as Eggs (but they are the 18 count ones). This Particular is still Fairly New..I believe it just opened Recently, but the Store is Kept Very Clean, the Workers are Very Helpful & Friendly, and I Never had any Issues with Parking, as this Store does share the Parking with Einsteins Bagels & McDonald's. I don't expect much from a store like this, but I was upset by something when I was there today. There was a homeless man sitting by the front doors of the store, cursing and throwing chips at pigeons. I mentioned it to the cashier, and she told me that he had been there for days and that if she told anyone that "They wouldn't do anything about it anyway". I find this very sad. There are a lot of homeless people in this particular area, but if someone is sitting by the front doors cursing and throwing things, I believe it is the job of the store managers to take care of the issue so the employees and patrons feel safe and comfortable. The fact that this store cares so little about the comfort and safety of the people who work/shop here that they will not tell someone to leave the premises, makes me believe that many patrons, myself included, will no longer shop at this store. read more

Oh 99 cent store how i can count the ways i love you.. no literally i can count. They have anything and everything i need on a budget. Potluck at work for 25 people? No problem. Spaghetti, Spinach, Choizo, Sauce, garlic... and everyone loved it! All for under 7 bucks. Go me! Need stocking stuffers? Yep, they've got you covered. All for under 10 bucks. I like that this location is definitely clean and organized compared to others that i have seen. I've seen items here that have gone for 3 or 4 bucks at target or albertsons. MY favorite $.99 location in the valley. The workers here are always so friendly and willing to help, even if that means running to the back to check on something for you. I haven't ever had anyone at a dollar store go above and beyond like that, so that's kinda cool. I like this location a lot because it is right across the street from my usual Target & Big Lots so I like to see what goodies I can come across here. I love finding name brands here that I would be paying much more for in a regular grocer. I usually always find myself browsing the produce here, because a lot of the times I shop here I come across some really great ORGANIC produce. That's expensive considering that I once paid top dollar at Whole Foods&Trader Joes for similar produce! I just love seeing what goodies and treasures I come across here. Most of the items are $.99 but there are a few items you will see that might be more, so make sure to keep a look out for it.
