Took my son in here and asked for those needoh things (Idk a whole lot about them) but the lady showed us where they were.. we bought one and a dumpling spent 19.99 on this needoh and 12.99 on a dumpling so over $30.00 only to get home and find they are fake.... He has a dumping and these are straight temu versions. That they try to upsell.. that's insane. If it's fake make it known as well as not upselling them for a ridiculous price when you paid dollars for this. They shouldn't say they are real when they are cheap and FAKE. The store has cool Japanese products and fun to browse. Good selection of knickknack housewares, snacks, Sanrio, and plushies. I especially like shopping here for gifts. Last visit I got some cute stationary and Pusheen items. Small store and aisles are narrow, so it can get crowded if busy. Prices seem to be higher than at other similar stores. For my 100th review, I want to highlight Tokyo Discount as I have been shopping here for years! I love coming here for gifts since all my friends love anime. They have a little of everything from plushies, model kits and figures from a ton of different shows/manga. Their prices are very fair on anime merch, a little higher than online but that's understandable for the ability to look at and purchase in person. They also have a ton of Sanrio merch and BTS merch, car air fresheners, cute kitchen supplies, tea sets, ramen, Japanese snacks and some pantry cooking supplies! (I buy my Matcha powder and curry mix from here!) The women who work here are always SO sweet, 10/10 for service and it is always very clean and organized! read more

There are a lot of Japanese Knick knacks, household items, dishes, food, beauty, make-up and plushy pillows. I purchased a bowl of ramen, a green tea drink and HI chew watermelon. I found this place online and went to check it out. I couldn't believe how much authentic Japanese merchandise they have! Dishes, hashi (chopsticks), toys, knick-knacks, t-shirts, toiletries, anime stuff, plush stuff, candy, ramen packs, maneki-neko (welcome cats), drinks (i found my favorite melon cream soda), gojira (godzilla) stuff, and so much more! It literally is a slice of Tokyo, it has everything you can imagine. We found toys, food and tea pots that cost 10 more on Amazon, eBay or any other website we've tried. Some of the stuff is still expensive but cheaper than online. It's obviously authentic and I actually got to see the lady placing orders from there websites in Japan, at least I think lol I couldn't read what language it was? They carry a lot of the anime toys that are hard to find and way cheaper. Toys that would cost $25-$50 we found for $5-$10 here. Only downside is the ladies working at the store speak little to no English and don't really greet or help customers but I think that's their culture they mind their business and you mind yours lol. read more

My ten yr old got the One Piece Zero sword and pencil holder that he's been absolutely crazy about! He even saved this place in my map cuz we're new to the area. Visited from out of state. Staff was nice. Lots of things to chose from. Only downfall is I wish the aisles were bigger (it's hard for people to go both directions at once) and my daughter wishes they had more anime choices but it is a small store. I love this store. Plain and simple, it has so many great Japanese products. Normally we stop in here to get some items which are hard to find elsewhere. The prices are good and the inventory has a wide variety. Today I bought more air fresheners I use in my cat. I also bought some Japanese snacks and drinks. The staff are always very nice and a big help if you have any questions. Some products are completely written in Japanese, so it helps to speak it or have a translator haha. read more

It's hard to find Japanese import stores as a general in Vegas, which is kind of weird because there is a decent Asian population here. Having lived in California for nearly 20 years of my life, it was a bit of a shock! On to the store. They have a nice selection of products, mainly little collectibles like pins and some utility goods and backpacks. Also there's an entire shelf of truly massive plushes [mostly Pokémon and Hello Kitty, during the time I went] and a small section near the front that's dedicated to Pokémon Banpresto crane prizes if you're into that [which I personally am]. The woman working at the counter was very friendly and helpful. :) There's also a section towards the back of the store with various-sized Buddha, Chinese Dragon, etc. statues for sale. I found 2 of the Megahouse Digimon Data 1 blind boxes on my trip, which I was very happy about because Digimon isn't very popular outside of Japan. Which makes me a little sad because I've loved the series since I was a child. read more

Came here initially to pick up spoons for soup but the moment I stepped in here I was sidetracked to aisle #1 to the left which was dedicated to everything Sanrio HELLO KITTY! Stationary, jewelry, purses, accessories,party and school supplies, toys , all kinds of novelties geared towards young kids and the young at heart. Even though the retail store is small they sure did make good use of the space. They've made the aisles narrow to fit everything. Its jammed packed with imports from Japan. Tea sets, Anime stuff, cookies, ie Pocky in Mango and Green Tea. .and Oreo Cookies with Cheesecake filling! All kinds of candy too! Picked up Green Tea Kit Kats for stocking stuffers. Oh and dishes. .what I came here initially for! Good choice selection for soup spoons! As far as prices they charge here I think its fair and reasonable. This is like a teeny tiny Daiso-like store, with an aisle of Hello Kitty, a few food items in the back, lots of kitchen tools that are definitely useful, bentos, school supplies, serving platters, and more. It is a really cute place and everyone who works here is very helpful. Lately, there have been a lot of green tea flavored sweets which are hard to find, including kit kats, nestle crunch bars, and pocky sticks, so that is a plus. There are no food-related re-ment gum boxes or donabe, but there are sushi keychains and erasers, handroll holders, lacquer and plastic bentos, and other useful tools. This is my favorite Tokyo discount location.. From my knowledge there's no where in town quite like it. It is a bit crowded and you pay a premium for some of the things but it's definitely expected.. Some of the other things are cheap though. It's a hit or miss but there is definitely some deals there. Their variety of Japanese goods, anime things, snacks, clothing is awesome. It was like Studio Ghibli, Hello Kitty, anime, and kawaii awesomeness all rolled into one! Taking a breather off of the strip, I ventured in here to see if I could score some pocky and hopefully some Ghibli items. Boy, did they not disappoint! Once you step inside you can see the place is packed to the gills with goodies, albeit a bit small in space. I am not too fluent on my Japanese yet so I was grateful that they had some signs up briefly describing that some of the items were. Basically they have all of the foodie favorites in here from Japan: Meiji, puffy corn cheese curls, milk chocolate, chocolate crunchies, rice crackers, ramune candy, fizzy drinks etc. Fun bento supplies too. They have cell phone accessories, dvd sets, kitchen supplies, skin care (Hado Labo and the like), hair color, makeup, posters, and basically tons more which I will forget to mention here.
