The sign was not lit and there were no lights in front. Inside is a big space with long tables where items are on. I was not sure if it's just because it was already evening that many had gone through the items earlier in the day but it was very disorganized. Boxes and many other things were in disarray, making it difficult to search for items. At some point, we even found it hard to identify the items we were looking at. Some parts of a set were misplaced or missing.

It is a bit messy because they have so much inventory and the space is small, so you have to take your time looking. Two things I wish they'd change- the first is the baby clothes all being in bins on the ground in front of a busy shelf. It's very difficult to grab, sit on the floor and try not to get hit in the head. Also those bins always smell bad. Same issue with the shorts & swimsuit bins on the ground, those don't smell though. The second thing is seeing the same ripped and stained clothing, I'm talking huge holes in the crotch in jeans and stains you know are never coming out, being sold for $8 or more. Some items should just be tossed! Checkout staff is always very friendly and offer a free book or toy for kids.

And, I can hit it on my way to my monthly pilgrimage to WIlliams & Sherrill. It's right on Midlothian at the front of a small shopping center and in the summer, they have a fabulous sidewalk sale. If you covet designer drapes that would normally cost $500 a panel, you can get them at this sale for 50% off or more. I bought a really cool black and white toile lampshade at the sale a couple of years for $10. The store itself is pretty small and has mostly lamps, shades and drapes, but there are a few pieces of statuary and other arty home accents. Ask for help from a salesperson for browsing the little room of drapery in the back as it's pretty crowded and stuffed with merchandise, so it's hard to find what you're looking for in the right lengths.

The person running the shop when we visited was this extremely kind music producer. He was easy to talk to and really kind. There were several rooms filled with unique and beautiful things. I love how this store is a combo of an antique store and used record store. You can find the music in the back. We found some really pretty things. Do know this place isn't cheap, you can end up spending high prices, but there are quality pieces. I've been wanting to buy a pair of rollerskates for a long time and ran into a pair that were my size. I took that as a sign and decided to take them home with me.
