Four years later and my Target STILL hasn't let me down! Everything looks so bright and airy (still), and I've used the pick up option more times than I can count - with HUGE success. But here's the BEST part: THIS TARGET NOW HAS DRIVE UP SERVICE! DRIVE. UP. It is SO easy and all you do is use the app to place your order and it's almost always ready in seconds! Then, you just pull up to one of the four designated parking spaces, tell the app that you're there, and magically a Target employee will come running out with your bags. You sign something, and then you're done. This. is. revolutionary. for. folks. with. BABIES!!! This means I don't have to go through the hassle of getting my baby out of the car seat, taking the stroller out of the trunk, carrying the child in the store, looking for sanitizing wipes for the basket, and then repeating all those steps to get back inside the car at the end of the shopping trip just to go in the store and get one thing. I've come to this store several times to get popcorn food cafe is always closed makes no sense

I purchased a gift card for $100 and realized that the access code was scratched off when I got home. I came back the very next day in the morning, and the manager , Dustin, refused to transfer the amount to a new gift card. The balance of $100 was still on the card and I had the receipt. According to Target policy, "If the Target GiftCard barcode is still intact, your local Target store may be able to scan and replace your card as long as the access code is still legible." Dustin read this and said "Maybe able to," so he was straight up refusing to help me. It's not that he couldn't, it's that he did not want to. And he went on saying how the store would "lose money" if he were to transfer the balance to a new gift card. I called Target.com and provided all this information, they said the store should've been able to transfer the balance to a new card as their online policy had stated. They will be looking into this, and they were able to transfer my balance to another card. I think this did not have anything to do with the damaged card but that the manager did not want to help me at all. I said the whole thing was BS, he said "since I was cursing, he wouldn't be able to assist me any longer." It sounded to me he just wanted to not fix his store issue! And yes, I do look different, did this play a part in this managers behavior/decision to not help a customer? Who knows these days!! read more

Place is clean and it always has the stuff that I want. The service is great and I honestly have to admit that this is my favorite Target. I would pick this place over the one on Broad street/Williow Lawn AND the one in Short pump area. Everything is clean and neat and you will always find what you need. read more

Whenever I want to avoid the CRAZINESS that goes on at the Short Pump Target, this one is always my go to Target and it's not that far from where I live. This location is probably the same in size just without the annoying tweens and crazy soccer moms. They almost always have the size/product I'm looking for because not as many people shop at this location. It's always pretty low to steady traffic here and finding parking is a breeze. Lines are never really long and there's usually a lot of employees on the sales floor. The one thing I have noticed is that many of the employees like talk amongst themselves instead of saying hi or addressing the customers here.. If you want to go somewhere less busy and will have what you're looking for, go to this Target. read more

How can you NOT love Target??? The only thing not to love is your bank account when you leave! I can never go in and buy just what I need, or maybe I just needed more than I thought I did. This particular visit was to just get out of the house with my 2 yr old before we had lunch at home. I have a gift card burning a hole in my pocket too. We started off in the "dollar" section in the front, and Dexter (2yr old) found something he HAD to have. So I have no issue buying an item to keep him from screaming when it's only $1. Then I had to venture into the kitchen section, which is my complete weakness! I put things in my cart just to put back telling myself, I can buy that later. So I ended up with nothing from that area. I really love that Target carries more groceries now. They actually carry a few products that are Whole30 approved and are cheaper here than regular grocery stores. So I picked up a few items, including yogurt for Dexter's breakfasts since he's picky on his flavors. I don't think I've ever shopped at Target and spent so little. I still have money left on my gift card so of course I'll be back! read more

I love Ripple milk. Every time I go to this store the supply of Ripple is limited or sold out. Today there was no selection of my favorite flavor. I picked up a few additional items and waited in line for greater than 5 minutes while the cashier and the customer ahead of me looked at the customer's cell phone. I abandoned my items on the conveyor belt without purchasing anything. The cashier never spoke with me or made any eye contact. She remained focus on the cell phone of the customer ahead of me. I tried to get another employee's attention at the customer service area without success. I called to speak with the manager in the parking lot. Mark spoke to me. He said that he just returned to the store. He was not sure of the problem as there were two cashiers and several self checkouts open. He asked me if I checked with the staff to see if the Ripple milk was available in the back. I could not find anyone to help check me out, much less check stock in the back room. Mark mumbled an apology, but did not offer any additional assistance. I shared that I will not return to this store. Mark did not seem interested in retaining me as a customer. read more

My nearby Target, I go here almost every day to grab a coffee and get in some serious steps on my Fitbit while looking for items to improve the house, food necessities, clothes, electronics, and collectibles. My first stop is always by the Starbucks on the left hand side, where they have one of the most friendly and inviting staff's I've met in my lifetime. Andromeda, Maggie, and Rita all take a personal interest in making your coffee absolutely perfect to order, willing to fix any issue that may occur. They have an excellent clothing section of local sports teams at the front of the store with sizes that fit all body types. The staff works well as a team, where members will back one another up in busy times. If you need anything and looking to avoid massive crowds of people, this location is absolutely perfect. read more

This Target's pretty solid. I've been told by folks that you can often find items here that you can't find at other Targets, but so far I haven't found that to be true. They seem to carry the normal stock, but it does seem to be less crowded than other Targets. Then again, I typically visit at really off hours, so that could play into the lack of crowds... There's ample parking, so you don't need to troll around for a spot, there's a Starbucks inside if you need your caffeine fix, and (typically) check-out is a breeze. read more

The Target on Staples Mill is my favorite Target in Richmond. I like the fact that it's very clean and not as busy as other Target stores in the Richmond area. The things I usually need are in stock. The lines are never backed up down the aisle. The staff is very nice and helpful. This Target has a family atmosphere. read more

This is your typical good service target. No matter what time of day I go they always know when to have the right amount of staff and lanes opened so it never feels crowded. The store is clean, the shelves are well stocked, and it's easy to come here just to make a quick in and out stop. My only complaint is that the staff at their Starbucks could use some customer service skills and it seems like 30 mins before closing they are anxious to leave. If you're just going for everything else but the Starbucks, then you'll be fine. read more

I usually like going to this Target better than the one on Broad because it's less busy but I left there livid today. This review is in relation to the Starbucks inside of Target but I've also had this employee ring me up at the checkout registers too. I walked up and ordered my drinks and she proceeded to smack her lips, roll her eyes, and tell me "just so you know, it's disgusting". I asked what she meant. I kept my cool at first but I couldn't hold it in once she and another employee talked with each other, right in front of me, about how I ordered the "disgusting drink". It was then that I chimed in "That's personal opinion. You shouldn't be working in customer service. How are you going to tell a customer that the food they ordered is disgusting? That's extremely rude". She continued on saying "I'm just trying to help you out". You know what would help me out? If her supervisor made the smart decision and let her and the other employee go. I still can't believe this even happened. I already avoid the Starbucks in the Broad St Target because they're rude as hell but now I guess I need to avoid both. And you know what, I actually liked that drink. Although I'm sure it probably had her spit in it. read more

Me and a couple of my friends went to target today. And my friends mom and 11 year old sister came by to buy some stuff and we were walking around with the 11 year old and then we just got approached by workers for NO reason saying "we don't want your service if your not gonna buy anything" and "go back to the school you came from" (cause we all were wearing backpacks) the way the worker said it was very rude and disrespectful. Then we all started to walk away and ANOTHER worker asked us "can I help y'all find anything?" And then started to follow us. We stopped and asked him why he was following us and then he started looking up and down at my 15 YEAR OLD friend in a weird way. The 11 year old saw it too. That is disgusting and ridiculous. He was apparently the "manager" that is not okay. I will never come back to this target ever again. I'll be happy to go to the target at Virginia Center. read more
