The business used to be in quaint downtown, closed for a couple years, then opened in the bustling Muscatine Mall. Actually Muscatine Mall has really fallen on hard times and is mostly empty. Growing up it used to be a legit mall and busy. I give the owner props for trying to bring traffic to a struggling area. I also love supporting local businesses (I'm such a good friend). The store makes it easy to admire anyhow. They hands down are the best smelling and cleanest burning candles I've ever bought! My candle just flickered from the gust of Yankee Candle and Glade owners weeping from their sheer inferiority of their products. Friends has very diverse scents they change often. Some interesting ones: pink sugar, monkey farts, beer, frozen margaritas, log cabin, iced cinnamon roll, lilac blossom, champagne pomegranate, butt naked, the list goes on. Candle refills are .64 cent an ounce or $5.12 a cup. About half what candles on the floor cost. But candles on the floor are inexpensive and come in cute and unique containers. A few are in antique soda cans with the tops cut off. Adorbs! They also sell a few antiques and nick nacks. My gran bought a vintage china base lamp our last visit. Buyer truly beware and spend your money elsewhere to obtain better service and honorable intentions…read morebecause Walmart no longer holds their' actions honorably. Walmart pretends to care about their customers when they truly do not. When you call Walmart's main office either you can't get through or they pass the buck and do not uphold integrity. This recently happened to us. We will now take it a step further to include actions through BBB, the Trade Council, and speaking to a lawyer. Walmart is charging their customers to walk 10 feet into the store and pick up oil they choose not to stock in their automotive department. They double the price of their posted oil change to do this. When we called them on this the manager chose to give a recorded statement to confirm that this is their policy. They did take the charges off when called on it, however, they then told us they would not honor any warranty previously purchased, kicked the customer out of the store, and turned his name into the police banning him as a customer from all stores. What was this for? I recorded the transaction and the fact that Matt was not doing anything wrong.

Nothing came up for this store, I only went in because I seen the Starbucks symbol on the building. One of the best all-around grocery store I've been in, I travel allot and try to eat healthy sow grocery stores are a must for me. Their variety and selection of prepared foods is the best of ever seen. Awesome salad bar and even a Restaurant and a Starbucks in the store. Not much of a selection of grain free foods or primal foods but this is IOWA grain central.
