This Dollar Tree is the worst I've ever been to. I needed items in a pinch. Such as burners to place under a catering tray to keep food warm. And some serving utensils. And ice (was happy to see that they sell ice). But where are the workers? Not an employee in sight. There are 3 self checkout registers, and it looks like the workers rely on that to not have to work at all. What if I needed assistance finding something? Or needed balloons inflated? Or I was an elderly person needing assistance checking out? What a hot mess! I hope someone important reads this Review. Please do better!! If you're wondering whether to shop here, don't. I read the reviews but it was the closest one to my home. I'm actually glad I went. The shelves were organized and stocked. The place was clean and colorful. This store is TeeTee. When I saw two registers open, each 3-4 people deep and they hadn't processed one single person by the time I shopped the whole store, I was completely done. If they sold fresh meat and veggies lots of area supermarkets would have some fierce competition. I Love this place for the myriad selection of items they offer. Take your pick as to location, inventory is similar. For instance I found a hot sauce made by Old Bay, Excellent stuff, I put that **** on everything. They also have a nice array of items in the frozen section, especially the orange sherbert and the frozen key lime pie! Here's why the place is popular and usually a jumbled mess... Everything's a Dollar! For example you can purchase comparable laundry products at a third the cost of major brands. You can get nearly 3 litres of 3 kinds of bleach for a buck. Bread, soups, canned veggies, pasta, snacks, sauces, condiments, even books, cd's, dvd's and a wide variety of sugary beverages. A smart consumer on a tight budget could do some decent cupboard and refrigerator filling here. Sans the disarray folks complain about. You'll be losing out if you don't give them a shot. This Dollar Tree is okay. It has to me a bigger variety than other Dollar Tree stores. I can find pretty much anything, other than other stores, where to me the selection is limited. Staff seemed friendly, and there seemed to be a larger staff number than in other locations that I've been in. Organizationwise, not as great. In every aisle, there are things all over the place The floors are dirty, and it smells like Lysol, and maybe any of those bad smells you use to clean the house. Went to this location for the first time (by mistake l, I meant to go to a different location) and was immediately turned off by it. Upon entering, the doors/window were disgusting, it is dark, dirty, and messy inside. I told my self to keep going. I looked to my right there was only one register open with about 10 customers waiting. I heard a couple kind of arguing, so with that, the long line, the messy environment was not pleasant. I left. Just a ghetto mess! I've never seen a place of business like this in my life. Really. The blatant disregard that management must have to 1) do decent business 2) patronize humans, is baffling. I'm assuming that they just really don't care. I'm so surprised that they haven't been shut down yet. I mean, not the entire establishment, but they need to do some staff renovations. I went here just to pick up an online order because it was the closest Dollar Tree to our apartment. I should have looked up the ratings prior to coming in. It took over twenty minutes just to get my order. The store was completely disorganized, boxes everywhere, long lines. I had to wait for the sales associate to finish trying to find balloons for another frustrated customer (because boxes were everywhere) and then instead of just helping me get my order he chose to ring up a line of customers before going to assist me. When he finally found my order he then went back to ringing out customers before finishing the transaction. Never coming here again. read more

HORRIBLE experience. Yesterday I went to dollar tree to buy some decorations for my friends birthday. We ended up buying a table cloth, blow-up balloons, a banner and helium balloons. The woman who blew up the helium balloons was so sweet and made the experience extremely easy. After checking out, I walked to my car and one of the balloons quickly deflated. I went back inside and was greeted by the GRINCH. I asked her if I could have a different ONE DOLLAR balloon and she responded with a nasty smirk "helium is a decompress-ant, when you go outside the balloon will shrink and when you go back in the heat it will expand". Well #1 I didn't ask for a science lesson, #2 I paid for a balloon and would like it to be what I paid for, #3 the balloon is a dollar. I go to this Dollar Tree as it is the safest one for me to get to. The 2 others that are closer as well are wonderful. A few months back while walking down an aisle, there was a spill of liquid that looked like dishwashing liquid. I thankfully saw it. I reported it to who I am thinking was the store manager. Other than a what aisle, not a word was spoken. Not a thank you. That could have turned into a horrible accident if another person (especially a customer) didn't notice it, slipped and gotten injured (especially an elderly person). I have been back a number of times and the same guy is there. Never acknowledges you. I am sorry, maybe I am too friendly and have manners. Worst place in the world. These pictures are only a sample of the mess. And, And ....And. the cashier Lashay was on the phone as I approached and simply waved me over and pointed to the belt for me to put my items. Eventually the person she was speaking with asked how she could talk at work. She replied she wasn't supposed to be on her phone. I then said to her that she was being very rude to me as a customer. She mocked me to the person in the phone and they hung up. A co-worker then started a conversation and she again mocked me to him saying she couldn't talk as her customer didn't like it. This store has always had an "image" problem as far as cleanliness and having product in stock, but now it's in a horrible state of affairs. Entire aisles are roped off with "crime scene" tape because of the messes of product/random junk literally blocking the aisles. Store smells like a damp, musty cellar and there are shopping carts full of random product smack dab by the checkouts. I hope the higher ups are reading this! read more

THIS WAS THE WORST STORE I'VE EVER BEEN IN! I live in LA and if I saw this store there I would think it had just been hit with a MAJOR earthquake! Half the shelves were empty with HUNDREDS of boxes all over the store. Other shelves had mismatched merchandise laying on them and in bins on the floor. Although I know the stores are franchises I still emailed the corporate offices about the horrendously cluttered state of the store. I would think that the corporate offices would hold the franchises to standards since they have the Dollar Tree name on it. But I did not hear back from the Dollar Tree corporation so I guess they don't care either. read more

This store is absolutely awful. Don't bother going here, you can't find anything. Boxes are always all over the aisles. The employees that work there are standing around talking to eachother, spouting curses like the F***, N****R, S**T down the aisles in front of the kids. They don't care. Dollar Tree seriously needs to get this store under control. read more

Decently stocked compared to other Dollar Trees, although there are better ones in NJ. Lots of items for affordable prices, lines can be a little long, but nothing intolerable. Overall a good store, although employees don't seem to be treated fairly. read more
