I've visited this Target location three times now with mixed results. Lots of parking. It's very calm here. The bathrooms are nice and clean. The first two visits were fine, browsed around and picked up some snacks without any problems. However, my third visit for drive-up pickup was extremely disappointing. I ordered three containers of Chobani oat milk, the same brand I regularly purchase from other Target locations without issue. Every single one went bad within 24 hours of opening. At first I thought something was wrong on my end, but when all three had the same problem, it became clear this location has serious issues with how they're storing refrigerated items for pickup orders. I've never had this problem at any other Target, which tells me this is a location-specific issue with temperature control or storage procedures. The oat milk isn't supposed to expire until February. Won't be returning to this location. My home Target may be in the ghetto with nightmare parking, but at least they know how to properly store refrigerated items and I actually get quality products. There's nothing like high prices and a limited selection to keep the crowds away from Target's grocery aisles. In a weird way I kinda like it as it allows me to fill-in some stray items missing from my weekly grocery binge without the demolition derby scrum at Walmart clogging all the aisles. There's no loss leaders here as everything is MSRP+ versus most standard supermarkets but the question remains... what's privacy worth to you. Three stars. read more

This target has gotten horrible. Please whatever you do always and I mean always check the dates on their products. I would say more than 50% of the times it's past due. Disgusting. My favorite Target in the area! Good selection of wares and it's not nearly as busy as the Nassau Park Blvd. one. Employees are also generally nice and helpful. That being said, the produce is a little lacking. Maybe I shouldn't expect too much from the Target produce section, but when you don't even have any bananas available, I feel like that's a bad look. Understaffed, with super long lines at checkout, even in the self-checkout lines. A maddening 20 minutes to get through the line on an ordinary Wednesday night. Customer service was bland and mechanical. No wonder consumers are opting for online shopping with the likes of Amazon. Once again, this target has proven to me that it does not value the customer nor making profit. While 6 - 7 employees march around paying little attention to lines that stretch back nearly across the width of the store, they do nothing to ease the wait of the customers just trying to check out. That is until one person speaks up. Then, it becomes armageddon. They send in reinforcements who don't bother to do the proper thing. Rather than take the next customer in line, they simply say " register 4 is open" and the people who benefit are the ones that have been waiting the least as they make a mad dash to the new line. This happens at least once for every couple of visits I make. The next time this happens, I am just going to abandon my cart and leave. I refuse to give my hard earned money to a store that cannot manage its way out of a paper bag. Of course, then they will have to re-stock the items in my cart, at least the items that haven't perished due to thawing out. This place doesn't give a damn about you as the customer. I'm not going to have a coronary over the experience any more. I suggest you all do the same and just leave the next time. There are other stores nearby that care about their clientele. read more

I stopped shopping in EW Target about 6 yrs. ago, because the man in customer service was very rude. Saw a wonderful sale on baby item earlier this week and put together an order, went to pick it up today and the young lady in customer service was rude,and very impatient (no line, I was the only one there at the time) I don't take my order, returned the whole thing right on the spot. One stop shop for many items. This store is very clean and still is disinfecting carts for their customers, as well as self checkout kiosks. You can usually find majority of day to day items in stock here. Ever since they added drive up feature, i have been using it and never had any issues with curbside pickup. Overall, this has become one of my regular places to shop. I also like the full Starbucks inside the store along with "Go self checkout bar" at the entrance. read more

Based on my visit today, I really like this Target. It wasn't crowded on an early Wednesday afternoon in October. They have a Starbucks in the store and the dark haired, glasses wearing, male barista was extremely nice and pleasant. My drink was great too. It's was refreshing to experience this. The selection in the store is great. No less than 6 employees watching the line backup in self check out while enjoying their Starbucks. (10:15 this morning) The little bald line proctor, hollers to one of his friends and opens a register to check him out, while the rest of us peasants have to be target employees while the real team enjoys their community coffee break. Rude little man who clearly has issues. When I tried to buy bags, thanks NJ, he yelled that I was grabbing the wrong ones. Not a fan of this one. It's not as well stocked as my fave one in edison. Prices vary. Employees are friendly. They do have a nice clothes selection for juniors, men n children. Still makes me mad they put have a small section of plus size that goes right into maternity and u can't tell the difference inless u read the tag. I love this Target. I live in Plainsboro so, I have a choice of 2 Targets. Either this one or the one in Princeton right off of Route 1. I very much prefer this location as it is a much easier drive and typically a lot less crowded. They have a Starbucks to your left as you walk in. I have written a review about this Starbucks, (not my favorite), but it is nice to have the option to get some caffeine as you shop. All of my interactions with the staff members have been pleasant. They always have enough staff on duty so you can find someone to assist you if needed. This plaza also has a TJMaxx, Kohl's, Bath & Body works, etc.. I love coming here as you have a lot of options without the crowds of Princeton/Route 1. read more

The shopping carts in the East Windsor Target were hard to push yesterday. People are going to hurt their backs . Very disappointed in this.

I would like to preface that the store itself is great. Always stocked in new collectibles and cards. However, as usual, today i saw a damaged Funko Pop. There is almost always several damaged pops in the Funko section but I don't see this as a reflection of the store because it could easily be careless customers or children. I have had friends receive discounts when purchasing said damaged pops so on this occasion i asked customer service if that would be possible for myself. I was answered with an incredulous look as the employee pointed at the rip and said "for this!?". Apparently the huge rip on the top of the box did not affect its value at all. In addition, an employee loudly called my girlfriend obscenities to a few teenage girls after she politely asked for a fitting room. Beyond unprofessional and disgusting. read more

I did the drive up from this target. The past few times I have had to wait over 10 mins for my order, which I do not mind. Because of this I usually press the here button when I enter the parking lot facility (maybe 20-30seconds from pick up area). Trisha was who brought my order out today and I was surprised because she had it ready, just came out with it from store, great! But then she was very aggressive with me and made comments multiple times throughout the transaction "you falsely claimed you were here right, huh, right?" And I just chose to ignore the comments bc I felt attacked. I looked for her name tag when she walked by my car and she gave me a rude death stare.. very upsetting how someone in customer service can chose to be so threatening over something so little. I truly have had amazing experiences with this target and every other worker but this really upset me which is why I am writing this rating. read more

While not my favorite Target, this Target definitely is a better than average one. The selection is very fair, with a good variety of cosmetics, clothing, children's toys, school supplies and more. The store is organized in a very easy way so you can get in and out of the store. It's not too big, and for the most part it is affordable. It is slightly understaffed, but I really did not need any help finding anything. The store is definitely very clean, and has very good quality stuff. They have interesting and unique food products. It is easy and free to park on the shopping center parking lot. This Target is located a 0.3 mile drive from an Aldi's and a Retro fitness. read more

I like Target. 25% of the time when I go in there I get lost. I didnt come out for 3 days. Nobody noticed. At night the products come alive and dance and sing in the aisles. The overnight crew don't seem to notice. The giant red orbs outside of the store become loose from the sidewalk and roll in front of the doors so nobody can escape. I recorded it on my phone but when I tried to play it back my phone caught fire and now I have some sort of ancient symbol burned into my palm. Excellent customer service and a friendly staff who helped me resolve an issue i had.

My experience with Target came full circle during a recent visit to the store... well actually, it required two visits to get my refund. I needed to return items bought from target.com. First visit: Package unopened with receipt. "Sorry the receipt won't ring up. I need to see your credit card used for this transaction." Unfortunately I did not have my credit card. "Well, you have to come back." Second Visit: I never did find my credit card used for this transaction. When I told them the situation, returning a few weeks later, the staff member called Target.com to trouble shoot. (Um, they could have done this in the first place to save me the first trip). Target.com was able to find the purchase. I wish I could say I got my money back soon after, but just as I finished, I learned that the last item was not refunded. When I asked why, the lady said it was already refunded. I explained how that could not be possible because the receipt says 10 items and I was returning 10 items. Long story short, I had to dig up my emailed receipt purchase order to show additional proof of purchase. Another staff member then called target.com customer service once more and finally, I was able to get my refund. This whole visit took close to an hour. I learned that target and target.com are two separate entities, so if you buy an item that is not found in the store and are having trouble getting the receipt scanned, make sure you insist on having them call target.com customer service to trouble shoot. read more

I prefer this Target more than the other one in Princeton. The merchandise here is usually more organized and, more importantly, it's less crowded. It makes for a much more enjoyable shopping experience than going to the Wal-Mart in Hamilton or Princeton. Sometimes they don't have enough cashiers to check you out, but I think that's a common problem at every Target. Regardless, I really enjoy going to this Target. read more

Target is a great all purpose store with nice offering in their brand items. I like their pumpkin pancake mix, body washes, frozen fruit etc. I do prefer Target over the local Walmart. It is usually clean and well organized. read more

This Target is my favorite place to shop. I typically like going at night because its less crowded, but even during the day it's not as crowded as shoprite. Every department is above average. I love how clean it is. It's my favorite place to buy clothing and accessories. I can't even tell you how many dresses, shirts, and bags I have from target. It's practically most of my wardrobe. The staff is typically friendly and I can almost always get a fast return done. There's always convenient parking spots as well. read more

I was in target today and though they had everything that I needed the lines were incredibly long and people were not social distancing. I had a full cart and felt trapped using my cart to keep people back. lEmployees were not controlling the situation to keep people away from one another. I won't go back for a while. read more

I have been here several times and the staff does not like to help if you have a question regarding where to find something. Many times I have asked where to find something after searching only to be told to look in an aisle I already have and they quickly walk away. Just went there for one of our first trips (just moved into the area). Generally not impressed with the size of the departments. The reason for the review is that I fractured my foot and walking is a bit taxing so I went to use an electric scooter. Neither of the two employees we found did not know how to use them so I had to walk. This should be day one training..... Handicap people have rights too you know. And thank god I could still walk. Since moving to East Windsor a couple of years ago, I have been to this Target numerous times. Only recently have my wife and I began buying groceries here. Those may be unaware, but Target offers a great alternative for ALL of your grocery needs! We often go in the evening, when the store and aisles are less trafficked. But you can purchase anything from grade A meat, dairy, breads, fruit, produce, frozen goods, canned goods, paper towelling, to snacks. Unfortunately, the cost is a little more than what we spend at Shoprite. It's a fee for not dealing with the madness of a typical grocery store. Although checkout can take awhile, since rarely will there be more than two registers open. The rest of the store is an above average department store. The workers are often distant, and we had experienced difficulty with them once or twice in the electronics department. But usually coming to target is a step above going to Walmart which is an absolute free-for-all. Parking lot is not too bad. It's easy to navigate in and out, as there are three or four exits/entrances into the shopping center. read more

Yes the store has many young people and old people but they get paid like 7 bucks an hour so would you expect career minded personnel? This Target is understaffed. There are never enough registers open. The self-checkout lines are always much too long. The mannequins are wearing things that are not in the store or on the shelves. Items ring up at different prices depending on which register you go to. The staff seems overworked and underpaid and yet they are as pleasant and helpful as possible. Pay them more.
