I found a dresser that I was interested in but it didn't have a price sticker. So I asked one of the workers and he rattled off $69.99 without even looking at the one I wanted. Then we walked over there and he was like, "You wanted this little one, right? It's $69.99." I'm sorry but $70 for a USED dresser with scratches and whatnot seems HIGH (Better than Salvation Army's $200 ones but still, $70 is high). Regardless, his attitude just seemed so arrogant. There were some interesting items in store. If you need outdoor essentials like a portable toilet or rain pants, they got you lol. I was disappointed that I couldn't find more travel sized items. It seemed like they had a decent amount of house hold items like cleaning supplies and storage containers. The staff is friendly. The young lady that checked me out asked me if I found everything okay. I mentioned that I couldn't find any travel tissue packs, so she went and grabbed some for me. Super kind of her! I love how cheap the prices are. The quality of their products are decent. It's easy to go overboard at Daiso, but don't forget that all sales are final.

I went in yesterday to browse around for knick knacks and purses and they had bags that were in such poor shape listed for $59.99 just because they were brand name. They had some scarves hanging up from the Dollar Tree for $5.99 when they are $1.25 brand new at the Dollar Tree. I realize not everyone knows that but I would hate to see someone purchase one only to see they could've had 4-5 for that price from the Dollar Tree. I think if you're able to catch some of the colors of the week (they have 25, 50 and 75% colors) you may walk out with something that is a reasonable price but otherwise I recommend you check out some of the other thrifts and save your time.

You can find name brand things at cheaper prices. They stock clothes, makeup, seasonal items (like summer pool toys), phone accessories, art supplies, toys, novelty items. The list goes on! What surprised and impressed me, however, was their extensive candy section. I have a huge sweet tooth and 2 nephews who are 10 and 12 years old. So, of course, we raided the candy section! Everything was very affordable and I was able to treat them to all the sugar they could throw in the basket. They had all kinds of candy, soda, novelty, boxed and retro candies and even a display for candy sold by the piece! Even some foreign candy. If you love candy, stop in here for a look!
