WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE!!!!!!!!!! HARASSMENT, HARASSMENT, HARASSMENT!!!!!!!!!!!! Upon approaching this Dollar Store tonight an old overweight white bearded man was standing at the front glass door mouthing to another guest and I walking towards the store that the store was closed. The woman ahead of me exclaimed, "They're not closed!!" I looked at my iPhone and it was 8:57pm and the store closed at 9pm. I opened the door and literally had to step around this man who was blocking the entrance while he told us the store was closing in 1 minute, and I overheard him tell the woman that came in with me repeatedly that she could only buy one item. Obviously this man wanted to go home at the expense of his customers and their shopping experience. I counted 2 other customers still in the store when I came in. I hurriedly gathered the items I wanted to buy and went to the front registers. All my items were office supplies in the same isle, not spread throughout the store. I had thought about telling the old overweight white bearded man while gathering my supplies that he demonstrated possibly the worst customer service I had ever seen if I saw him again, 1.) Repeatedly telling oncoming customers the store was closed through the window when it was not, 2.) Saying the store closed in 1 minute when it was really 8:57pm, 3.) Physically blocking the entrance so we literally had to walk around him to get into the store, 4.) Harassing customers to only buy 1 item so he could go home early. But it gets worse, much worse..... When I got to the registers approximately 5 min after the store closed, I waited patiently but no one came to ring me up, but I could hear employees rummaging through stuff nearby. After 3 full minutes of waiting I said "Excuse me, I've been waiting here for several minutes now to pay", which the old overweight white bearded man came out of the office and exclaimed to get out of the store!! Confused I put my debit card in the air and said I wanted to pay, and he shouted "NO, GET OUT OF THE STORE!!!" Confused I put my debit card in the air and said I wanted to pay, and he shouted "NO, GET OUT OF THE STORE!!!" Obviously he was in such a hurry to leave work he didn't check to see if any customers were left and didn't want to take the time to ring me up. I had picked out about a dozen items to buy and asked if I could at least take a picture of them so I would know what to come back for, to which he said was fine. So I gently placed them on the floor to take a picture of. He then exclaimed he was going to call the police, and instructed another employee to call the police for him. I said "You said I could take a picture of my items", but he exclaimed "GET OUT!!!!!" The other employee told me I was trespassing and had a hat and water bottle on the checkout counter and exclaimed, "Let me get my personal belongings!!!" Acting like I was going to take her dirty used old hat and used water bottle. I took a picture of what was on the floor and walked out stunned, humiliated, hyperventilating, and in complete disbelief of what had just happened saying nothing to the overweight white bearded man as I walked out of the store while he shook his head with a devious grin. He should be disciplined, fired if you ask me, and should never be allowed to work in customer service again. He obviously didn't like his job or wouldn't have minded staying open an extra 5 minutes for 2 additional customers, like every other business in America does and should do for their customers. No one should have to go through what I went through and I would give this review 1 out of 100 stars if I could, and for that reason am leaving 10 reviews to hopefully draw attention to this employee so he can be disciplined so this doesn't happen to anyone again. read more

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE!!!!!!!!!! HARASSMENT, HARASSMENT, HARASSMENT!!!!!!!!!!!! Upon approaching this Dollar Store tonight an old overweight white bearded man was standing at the front glass door mouthing to another guest and I walking towards the store that the store was closed. The woman ahead of me exclaimed, "They're not closed!!" I looked at my iPhone and it was 8:57pm and the store closed at 9pm. I opened the door and literally had to step around this man who was blocking the entrance while he told us the store was closing in 1 minute, and I overheard him tell the woman that came in with me repeatedly that she could only buy one item. Obviously this man wanted to go home at the expense of his customers and their shopping experience. I counted 2 other customers still in the store when I came in. I hurriedly gathered the items I wanted to buy and went to the front registers. All my items were office supplies in the same isle, not spread throughout the store. I had thought about telling the old overweight white bearded man while gathering my supplies that he demonstrated possibly the worst customer service I had ever seen if I saw him again, 1.) Repeatedly telling oncoming customers the store was closed through the window when it was not, 2.) Saying the store closed in 1 minute when it was really 8:57pm, 3.) Physically blocking the entrance so we literally had to walk around him to get into the store, 4.) Harassing customers to only buy 1 item so he could go home early. But it gets worse, much worse..... When I got to the registers approximately 5 min after the store closed, I waited patiently but no one came to ring me up, but I could hear employees rummaging through stuff nearby. After 3 full minutes of waiting I said "Excuse me, I've been waiting here for several minutes now to pay", which the old overweight white bearded man came out of the office and exclaimed to get out of the store!!
