I agree with fellow Yelpers. This is a small scale Ross. Not a lot of clothing. I'm used to other Ross stores that are so packed with clothes you can barely move them on the racks. Great little shopping plaza. I did walk around and though it was super clean and well kept. Maybe you'll have better luck and find that gem. Happy shopping. read more

If you need home decor, this is the place for you. They were the ONLY store that had even semi-oversized wall art. They also had plenty of decorative photos and rugs that worked out perfectly for staging and homes alike. Parking right up front depending on the time of day and prices you cannot beat. read more

Ross is sad inside. It is very empty. The inventory isn't great at all with a lot of empty shelves and it isn't that clean or nice. Especially when you've got another brand NEW discount retailer just a few stores away that's fully stocked and has great items to choose from. My least favorite Ross in the Portland area. The store is large, but never has a lot of merchandise. Rarely do I come across a "find" at this location, unlike other Ross stores where I rarely leave without one or more. The shelves are unorganized and messy, and I mean for a Ross! So that's saying a lot. On my last visit the security/greeter was yacking with the cashier oblivious to anyone entering the store. I go out of my way to stop at other Ross locations, meaning if I am in the area, I drive a little further to do a quick run through. If I am shopping at Cedar Hill, most times I don't even bother to go into this Ross. read more

This is one of my favorite Ross locations. The store is pretty clean compared to all the others I have been to and you rarely find piles of broken things like you do at most of the other Ross spots. This is my favorite time of year to drop in since their Halloween stuff changes daily and they always have a great variety. Last week I dropped in and found a bat decorated snow globe which plays to dracula theme plus a gorgeous Dias de los Muertos table runner. Then this week I dropped by again to find the perfect huge $200 Nine West bag for $29.99 and a super cute shirt for $9.99!! If you go to Ross you are going to find something... I always wander through their purses and shoes since it changes daily. Its the best place to get all your Christmas shopping done also - something for everyone and unique stuff for those hard to shop for people. I even get gardening stuff here!! read more

This is a review of the Cascade Station Ross in NE Portland, Oregon by the Portland AirPort. I went there on November 14th, 2024. I went hear as this is my store and I had just left the Oregon City Store that was so happy to let me do a big purchase but gave me so much grief when trying to return my items that still had tags and receipts and cards to go with the return's. I went hear hoping that they would help me do all the returns I had to do. I was so upset when I left the Oregon City Store to the point of tears and in so much pain. I went in asked to speak to the Manager of the store. They promptly called her and she listened to my situation and what had happened and with a Smile on her face and in her voice. She said to go get my car park it up front and she would happily help me carry in my bags and do my return. She was so nice and she got a Wonderful Lady to help us ring it up. Now she happily showed me what to look for and allowed me to help the 3 of them do my return. I had the Security Guard helping us. The Manager was helping me and the Wonder Lady on the Register. I called her Speedy Gonzales as she was so very fast. Now if I found one as I was the slow tortoise as this was my first time they doubled and tripled check my work as well as theirs and marked each item off as we went. If their was something we couldn't find on the receipts we had we put them aside and looked them up by cards. Not one time did they snarl or give me dirty looks or give me any attitude at all. Then as we checked items in we tag teamed the returns. One would check the receipts and mark it done. Another would put a security tag if needed and I helped them hang them up that was the least I felt I could do for the OUTSTANDING, EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE I RECIEVED FROM ALL OF THEM. This is a 5 star store and they made me want to go back and shop at Ross. They more than made up for the Oregon City Store that was so HORRIBLY RUDE TO ME AND DID EVERYTHING THEY DIDN'T DO. I apologize for not getting their names but if you go by my date on November 14th,2024. I am pretty sure this was the date. They will remember me no doubt. It could have been November 7th, 2024 but I don't thinks so. Life is moving so fast and I had it in my car for a little bit which was extremely stressful for me as I was assaulted, car-jacked and robbed on October 2nd, 2017. This for me was extreme pressure as I know that can happen again in this day and age with the way life is now. So I so very much appreciate this store for helping me get this done. This is how a store should treat it's customers unless the customer is out of line. I know people have lost their manners since the panademic I deal with it as I am sure your people deal with it on a daily basis and for that I am sorry. I try to be very mindful again as stated in the Oregon City review it was like 60 to 45 minutes before closing this night. I think we got it all done in 30 minutes as we all team worked this together and all of them had a 5 star attitude and smiles on their faces the whole time. I have never had a better experience with Ross as I did here. Made me want to come work for you also just to be with such happy people and team workers. I have done restaurant work as a waitress and I was 5 star waitress never got less than 5 dollars off a customer unless they were only having coffee and that was in the 90's. I took each client as a challenge to give them the best service I could no matter what and to think of their needs before they asked me for coffee or whatever. This is how they made me feel. This store needs you to do something to keep this going for your employees that work so very hard for you as again people can be extremely nasty out here. I Thank all 3 of them from the bottom of my heart for making this such a painless ordeal. Thank You, Thank You, Thank You and Ross motivate your employee's some how please this is the only store I have ever had this great of Service at and I have shopped them all even in Vancouver, Washington. Came in today, my receipt says 5:47pm in case management wants to review who assisted me. But this woman assisted me and she was very very rude. For starters, I told her I didn't want a pair of shorts and she rudely told me to go put them back. Very rude tone, I bought 15 items and she's like "is that all?", ridiculous. Then after I paid she didn't say thank you or anything, SHE DIDNT EVEN HAND ME MY RECEIPT. She pointed at the printer and said "your receipt" and then immediately called for the next guest. She just was very very rude, I am still in shock. Someone train her. read more

My only gripe is the rude employee. One of the ladies on the register was busy with other customers. One only had money to pay for half his items and was asking his friend to cover the rest. That took longer than expected. I didn't mind the wait, I was in no rush. Anyways. Another cashier came by and instead of helping his coworker with the line, he decided to just have a full on conversation with the security guard at the register. read more

APPLE PAY!! Everyone knows this is a discount store with an emphasis on clothes. I rarely go in but my wife was looking for a rug suitable for her bathroom. They had a respectable selection and my wife made a purchase. We got friendly service during the checkout process. Not much to say based on our brief experience except they get the job done. I'm beyond disgusted with the employees at this store, I had been shopping in the area earlier this week and had a pin collection I just bought from another store it has a security tag inside the wrapping from the other store I had this inside my purse because it was smaller than my hand when I went into this store nothing set off the alarm, I wasn't able to find anything I liked / was looking for that day so I left empty handed (mind you it was 90 degrees this particular day) so I had my sweater over my hand bag as I was walking out, the alarms are set off by this item from the other store a woman who isn't even loss prevention runs over and blocked the door demanding I remove my sweater from the top of my bag I do so, my bag is COMPLETELY EMPTY besides my wallet and the item from the other store, still blocking the door this woman proceeded to raise her voice with me and degrade me convinced I had something in my bag , she says to the sps employee who greets customers " did she set those off on the way in?" He says " no" I say "all that's in my bag is my wallet and this item maybe it's the tile I have on my keychain" she then proceeded to snatch my keys out of my hands and wave them back and forth over it I have never in my life recieved this type of behavior from an employee from any department store this woman broke several codes of conduct for ross employees and their loss prevention team I know this because I worked AT THIS LOCATION for 2 years and they still treated me this way. Don't waste your money on their over priced damaged inventory or their disgusting rude employees who have no joy in their life except when they are bullying others. This employee really should be fired. Not only does it make me uncomfortable that she blocked me in and accused me of stealing when I wasn't, but the fact that she physically took my car keys from me is just unacceptable how she got away treating a revisiting customer / former employee like this I don't know but I know this I won't be back to this location or any other one. I was a girl ( because even though im freaking old I still think of myself as 16, ssh) on a mission. Now I have been a Ross shopper since highschool, but hadnt been in one for a year probably. So on this occasion I went in here to get my dad a belt. His pants have been falling down in public at uncomfortable moments, poor guy. I got suspenders ( he is 86) for him at freddys and two belts ($20 on sale) that didn't work for him and he deemed too expensive so I went in here instead. Cool. Perry Ellis belts for $9.99. Ok so Dad was right about cost. I also got two fuzzy soft throw pillows for my kiddo for $5.99 each. She keeps taking mine off my bed. Not. Ok. I coordinate the colors. She has her own but mine are softer. There was a pretty queen sized sheet set with four pillowcases in it for $18. Nice. Threw it in cart too. And I scored a couple cheap storage bins for a mere pittance.Oh and a $6 shirt for me. But. My big score was an Indian "pouf". An embroidered Ottoman thingy for like 1/3 the cost of what they are online. Ive been wanting one for a loong time.Oh happy day! Its super cute. Of course the kid tried to take that, too. Um. No. Mine. The store was very clean, quiet, and empty. Their stock does seem low compared to the Ross clutter level I'm used to. Wonder what that is about? -1pt. I frankly hate that you cant take the damn carts out to lot. Curses on them for that stupid stick that wont go out the door! My stuff was unweildy and they dont offer to help either. They are also not too friendly at checkout.I tried to chat with the checker and he just looked at me with the stink eye. I know their job is crappy so I will excuse that. Ross was fun. When I shop at Ross, I know what I'm getting into and am ready for the challenge. I know that shoes and coats may be scattered about, but it's Ross. It's the cleaner, more organized yard sale where I can find a Michael Kors bag for under $50 and see if that garden gnome is available for under $10. They usually are. This location has a GREAT home decor and toy section. I always find what I need in Women's section, pets isle are legit, health and beauty = STOCKED. What I have a hard time finding here are men's collar oxford shirts. Other than that, great store and I've never had a issue at this locations with employees. read more

Extremely and beyond poor customer service. Night manager has a very rude attitude, she doesn't greet customers or ever smile. I bet she could get a good job at a police department; she has no customer service or what's so ever. Store is great and employees are nice, however if you see the manager don't even try to go inside the store, I promise you that you will be the next victim of her negative energy and rude attitude; trust me, you don't want to have this experience! This is like the 4th time I shop at this location. I saw this manager a multiple times she never greeted me or smiled at me, and tonight was a super bomb.... The NW location and Hillsboro location is way better with nice employees and managers. According to my experience tonight, I bought beauty products and perfumes worth of $300 products and it was 10:58pm December 3rd, 2020. I asked the cashier who gave me a good customer service on the contrary of her supervisor, to grab an item from the stand. The cashier asked her manager, and the manager was very rude she said that the stand was locked as it was approaching the 11:00 pm closing time. Then, she gave me a rude attitude and told me that next time I should come early with a mean way. I don't so well with lazy people who don't like their job, I asked nicely and She responded in a mean way. Also, she stool by the door on my way out and didn't greet me or said good night as I was the last customer, she quickly locked the door. Oregon never had this bad customer service before. I do hope Ross will check their hire better managers with a better attitude, so nobody experiences whatever I experienced today. And next time if I will come at my own time, hopefully she won't be there. read more

Didn't really appreciate the way Brooklyn profiled my mother (also a employee at a neighboring store) on 10/10/19. She went to security and asked idk what about her ID. Mind you my mom had visited earlier in the day and she did the same thing to ask for "proof" that it was her. Her response to wether there was an issue or not: "sorry I'm tired". I'm tired too of this bullshit. Don't know what her issue was but I've never been profiled at any Ross since moving to this bs city. I'm done with cedar hills and I'm hoping my mother follows up with her manager. read more

Every time I go to Ross it reminds me never to go back. I don't know why I don't learn! Two loss prevention guys were just standing around talking loudly about one of their kids and they are right in front of the racks and they and would not get out of the way when I approached them. Then when a guy left that they were watching they started loudly talking smack about the guy. Then a salesperson keeps squeezing next to me and pushing the hangers my direction almost pinching my hands...wth? Like I'm in her way... The girl in the fitness rooms seems like she hated her job...I would too if I worked there! Never again! read more

They always treat you like you are going to steal something. Even when you go in without a jacket and a tiny tiny purse that only fits your phone and a small wallet. It makes me not want to shop there. The staff can be friendly if you find the right person but generally they aren't in the mood to help. I asked this guy for some help with a jacket, pretty normal questions and he could barely stop putting away a new shipment of clothes to talk to me. I get its all discounted items but I am still a human being that deserves kindness. Generally good assortment of clothes though. read more

Everyone from the security at the front door to the girl who rang up my order all were very helpful and personable. There have been some good finds here, but some returns as well. Usually a good selection of neckties and stocking suffers during the holidays. My most recent visit was for window curtains. They didn't have any shorter styles in stock, and nothing that could ever be considered eco-friendly either. Purchased some which had a weird smell and decided to wash, dry, and steam before hanging. Water was bright yellow and the whole room smelled of chemicals after I was done. Ick. This last visit I also noticed that their stock seemed very low. Not a good selection of home goods at all. Hit and miss at this Ross. Don't expect anything and you might be pleasantly surprised. read more

Great stuff! I go in there for one thing and come out with another, it's Christmas selection this time of year is so big! There's wrapping paper rolls for 2.99! It's not the cheap wrapping paper it's nice and thick paper ( I personally like thick wrapping paper ) there's bags, tissue paper and all kinds of Christmas gifts and decorations to pick one. A speedy checkout as well, well organized and staffed unlike some other rosses I've come across. read more

Ross... Well it's nice to swing thru sometimes and see if there's anything that's a smoking deal, but I find myself feeling like I walked into the clearing house at Goodwill at times. You know how you don't notice things for awhile when you're busy, but one day everything catches up with you, and you get a look at how disreputable your towels look (frayed a bit around the edges, holes just starting to form??). You wince a little and think "Yikes, it's time to tear them into rags and get some new ones." So that's where I went today to get new towels. The towels were all stacked neatly, and all the pretty spring colors were represented, so I had some good clean fun and got those towels, etc. at really excellent prices. Sometimes I see people wait in a long line before me and someone's just walks in the store goes to the return line and gets help before all the people who have been waiting . Not cool. I love Ross and its not just the cheapskate in me talking. I love a good bargain and in Ross stores I have good bargains on furniture, dress and shoes. The key is to be patient and visit the store multiple times and know that you might leave empty handed in many of your visits. We always go this store whenever we visit one of the other shops in the Cedar Mills area. Ross also sometimes carries good phone cases for cheap and I have also picked up workout equipment from here often. read more

Ross does not stand by defective merchandise. I purchased a shirt for my husband, he liked it and it fit. I didn't see a need to keep the receipt. Unfortunately the first time he started to put it on, he noticed that it was coming apart at the seam next to the button strip. There was no way to fix it. Ross would not even give an in store credit. I have shopped at Ross for MANY years but never again. Buyer beware! read more

Dear grouchy grumpy cashier who rang me up for a pair of sandals this afternoon I get it... it's hot and there is an obscene amount of people in line and somewhere in the background there is a screaming child adding to the cluster f@&$ that is our Sunday but here is a tip when you have finished ringing up a customer WAIT until they have finished putting their wallet and purchased items away in their bag before you announce you are available to help the other customers In line behind her that way we don't end up on top of each other! Also please don't ask me if the water bottle that I walked in with is in fact my own. Believe me if I could write review for the customers behind me it would be sung to the tune of " WAIT you turn in line like I had to , YOU WAIT your turn like everyone around you, Just WAIT your turn ..... before you shoe horn your ass into someone else SPACE!!!!!
